She looks like water, and reflection is the first thing I think of when I see the word.
Art, poem, or short story:
Today was the first day two parents took their nameless daughter to the river. The river was wide, about the length of a house, and it slowly and peacefully drifted along. When the three reached the river's bank, the tiny dragon jumped in and began swimming. She spent the remaimder of the day paddling away. Her parents stayed on the shore, closely watching her. At sunset it was time to leave. The baby dragon got up and stood staring into the river, unaware of her parents calling. They walked up and calmly stood next to her. At that time, the beads she was wearing changed its color to a blue color. She smiled.
Then her parents came up with a name. Reflection.

Reasoning for name:
{ I chose this name for a number a reason, all involving it's meaning within different countries. First, the Hawaiian meaning of the name Kai is "ocean" or "ocean water" which I think is pretty fitting. Another meaning for the name Kai (this one in chinese) is "Triumphant." The Japanese meaning the name Kai can be one of many, two of which being "Restoration" and "Ocean" and also "Recovery" I think all of his fit nicely do to his ability to stay alive under water for large periods of time. My absolute favorite meaning for the name Kai however, is the Swahili meaning "Lovable" I believe that Kai could be a very lovable PTD. }

{ The one thing Kai has known his whole life: Death is something that no one can avoid. But that didn't mean that he wasn't screaming and crying as the waves crashed into him, pulled him away from his family and into the treacherous waters. His head went under and the murky water clouded his vision, his lungs were flooded and began to burn, starving for oxygen. His head burst above the surface of the dimly lit water and the cool night air made him feel as if he was frozen. Kai could no longer see the shore, his family was gone, he was alone. The young PTD flloated within the water. Kai drifted among the waters, that is until a wave crashed over his head, Kai was knocked under the waves. The dragon boy was pushed farther and farther under, the curent in which the male had become absored within, tangled and hopelessly lost in, kept him from swimming upwards. It was the first time Kai had feared death, the unknown. Kai held his breath, but knew that he wouldn't last forever. Kai looked down at his blank pearls and wondered if they would ever change color, envied the fact that he would never know the truth of his nature and his abuility. Then something magical hapened, a myrical that saved his life. The pearl began to cloud with blue, changing in coloration. Kai soon found that he had lived much longer than expected, his back hit something solid and he was carried upwards by some invisible force. The dragon was thrown into the sky with a burst of water and laanded upon the white sands of some apparently deserted island. Kai looked upon his surroundeds and sighed deeply, this was not an ideal situation.
