"The Silent Flier"

" Snowy Owl Runes are seen in the more colder regions of Eldemore. Their soft feathers and white plumage helps them blind into their environment, but what it is truly known for is it's silent flying. This Rune can not be heard when it takes flight, thus making it an apex predator to the creature's it hunts. These types of Rune are more of a solitary species and it is very rare to see two or more together. Usually they only interact with other Runes when trying to find a mate, but for the most part they keep to themselves rather than be sociable like many other Rune species. A keen eyesight and beautiful plumage, the Snowy Owl Rune is valued by Rune Bearers who often hunt or live alone in the wilderness. Owned Snowy Owl Runes will often garnish two small bells tied to their tails to identify ownership and to also help the Rune Bearer know where their companion is. Their silent flying makes it impossible for their bearers to hear them so a soft jingle often identifies where they are. Though the bells are removed when hunting, a Snowy Owl Rune will always return to their bearer without fail. They are extremely loyal and will grow quite attached to you if you show them the same loyalty in return. They are honorable if nothing else, and rather large as well, fitting roughly onto ones arm with practices ease. Any Rune Bearer able to befriend these dragons have a loyal companion indeed."
