Name ;
Obi
Personality ;
Sweet
Obi is very sweet, always saying a kind word. Shes very good at cheering others up, other doing gigs or what ever it takes to make them smile. She thinks that a smile is very pretty, but a laugh, no matter whose, is always beautiful. She often does weird things in front of those, little minded creature - apes (humans), just to hear them laugh
Laid Back
Obi is pretty laid back. She is very reserved, so you don't see her making a fuss a lot of times. She is often there even if you don't see her. Shes very good at hiding, which is good, since she often finds secret places to sleep. Or spy.
Clumsy
Lets just say, Obi is like a house of cards. And houses of cards, fall, really, really, easy. Juana tends to always find why theres warning labels on things. Wether its a cup of coffee her owner has, or a stick, she always ends up burning someone or hurting herself.
History ;
Obi crawled through the grass. She was stalking a mouse. She sniffed the air. She was close. She lowered down and then sprung. Obi caught it! She felt the little mouse squirming in her paws. She peeked into her paws. It was soooo cute! She let it down softly, and it dashed off. But it only got a foot before it froze. Obi wondered why she stopped, "Little mousy! You can go!" Thats when an eagle swooped down, and picked up Obi. Now Obi was only the size of a house cat, so this eagle could lift her easily. The talons pierced her flesh, and Obi let out a piercing scream. She squirmed and managed to get the eagle to let go, but that required falling about 200 feet. Obi landed, and broke her leg. She sat there, dizzy, until she passed out. When she woke up, a human carried her. She was set down on a hard surface (table) and felt water wash down her bloody fur. Soon she felt warm air blowing her dry. When she was full awake, a blue eyed girl was rocking her in her arms. She was petting her soft fur, and her broken leg had been wrapped in gauze and a cast. Obi sniffed the cast, and then examined her body further. The wounds from the eagle were also wrapped up, her entire mid section gauze covered. She looked up at the little girl, who just noticed she was awake. "MOMMY! MOMMY! She woke up!" And the girl ran to her mom, still holding Obi. Her mom bent down, and set Obi on her feet. Obi let her cast leg slide out, but tried to use it. "No no honey, it needs to heal before you can use it" The mom said to Obi. Obi limped around the floor, before sitting down. "Honey, we need to leave her to rest for a bit, for her to heal, so can you make her a bed?" The mom said, as the little girl nodded and ran off. When she was gone, the mom looked at Obi, "Little girl, I know the injuries are few, but you have internal bleeding. I also did a test and you have heart disease. I can treat it, but" She set the dragons head in her hand, "I don't know if you'll make it. Even if I do treat and fix the internal bleeding, but you will still have heart disease. Its managable but" She stopped when the little girl came back. She smiled at her, "I'll take her to the bed. Did you make it extra comfy?" The girl nodded happily. "Well lets bring her to rest then!" And the mother picked up Obi and carried her to a dog bed filled with blankets. Surrounding her were many other animals, including macaws, local wildlife she'd seen around, and some things she never even seen or knew what to call other then 'Fluffy' or 'bald' or 'loud'. The mother whispered into Obi's ear, "I'll call you Obi. The gauze around your tummy reminds me of a Japanese sash, so I think it'd fit you." And the mother walked off.
In the further days. Obi got many shots, and a lot of talking from the mom. Turns out her name was Amiela, and her daughters name was Laila. Obi learned more about her heart disease (Amiela talked to her like a human being!) and that it wasn't a bad kind, but that it would take constant meds to keep her from dying. Her internal bleeding was fixed with a minor surgery (Amiela was a vet, apparently. Obi still doesn't understand why its called 'Vet'. Why not 'Healer'. Or 'Life bringer'). Her leg healed relatively fast, however required a surgery because it was fractured, and pieces of the bone risked infection. However the surgery was fast, and the cut healed even faster. Obi soon was frolicking with Laila, and got many hugs and kisses from her. Obi loved her family. How could she not? She was loyal as a dog! and would never want to leave. So now Obi lives with Amiela and Laila, snuggled in their house and yard, their little dragon dog. She even helps as a vet assistant, but only Laila lets her help with healing the stuffed animals, Amiela doesn't trust her.
