Glomps
Glomps are hedge hog and bunny like creatures that get really scared of everything big or smaller then them. It is until they have someone that loves them, that they actually start to stand and fight for themselves, though there are exceptions. Some hardened their hearts due to abandonment and go around terrorizing anyone that reminds them of their abuser. Others just don't like to be touched, and much much more. They are called Glomps, because that is how they manly hug, and show affection. They cling onto an arm, leg, or other part of the body, and hug tightly with their arm like "ears". They control shadows, and use them to both escape, or protect. They are shape shifters. Their shapeshifting is to usually ward of possible attackers, and their real form is only seen by people close to them. They have retractable spikes on their back that only come out if they feel threatened, or a powerful emotion.
