What is an AMD?
An AMD (Aadkint Maned Dragon) is a medium sized species of domestic dragon. They are warm-blooded and covered in fur. The fur of their manes and tails is very thick. They have one pair of large, feathered wings (though only one wing is shown on the ref). The underside of the wings is always the same color of the primary feathers. They weigh up to 450 pounds, and many people enjoy riding their AMDs, much like a horse.

*le sigh* Omigawd. Dem stripes. If it isnt obviously displayed in the title, this AMD was based off of the creashing waves on a bach. His wings are speckled like the foam flying, his eyes yellow like the beaming sun, and his stripes as crazy as the waves. I think I am in love <333 But, I think you guys deserve to have a chance to get an AMD, so here you go. Since I absolutely love this one, the form is a bit more difficult.

Personality:
Very much a surfer, Katal can't live without the beach and the ocean. He adores the smell of the salt and the feel of the sand underneath his paws. Motivated by the prospect of surfing fame, Katal trains day and night to become the best on the island of Oahu. And there's plenty of competition. He's very driven and exceedingly loyal, but Katal can also be cunning, cocky, and a little overconfident. He puts too much faith in his abilities, and doesn't believe in luck. When dealing with a threat, his first instinct to protect those nearby, and though he doesn't immediately attack, he can be aggressive if the threat doesn't back off. He likes to claim territory and establish a defensive perimeter, seeing as he's extremely possessive of whatever he deems his. But overall Katal is a very amicable character, and loves to be around friends and kindred souls.

History:
Auried grew up near the beach, and he was born white. Pure as the winter snow, but since he and his family would visit the beach so ofter rumor has it that the waves stained his body, creating blue markings and feathers on his wings.
