The Species
(You-ream)
Youream are a newly found species.
They are known to be quite fond of becoming human pets as well as hanging around wild Wolves and Dogs.
-A full-grown Youream is slightly smaller than a full-grown male lion.
-Youream are fast runner's reaching speeds up to 70mph and sometimes faster.
-They can live up to 500 years
-The joint's in their back leg paws are the same as the ones of their front paws.
-Male Youream use the sharp spikes on the side of their legs to fight over female Youream. They do this by jumping into each other side by side. Sometimes Youream that are not violent will just race over a female.
-Youream are nearly always on their toes, though they are somewhat unbalanced and tend to fall over from time to time. This is because Youream have not developed a long enough tail to help keep their balance.
-They are Omnivores, Though most would rather have meat than other foods.

Story based off what it looks like:
Marz is a guardian of the sea. There are many that dedicate their lives to taking care of all the vast bodies of life and water that make up the world's oceans, but Marz has a close connection with the inhabitants of this beautiful crystal wonderland. He often swims out to different areas to check on everything, and make sure that the balances are not breeched. He hitches rides on the backs of whales, and sometimes flirts with the mermaids. He resists the temptations that becon him by the sirens, and he loves to play with the dolphins and be tickled by silverfish. This is his life, Marz, guardian on the sea.

I may add some gold coins as earrings or a necklace with a pearl or something.
