I recently got into the Portal 2 game, and so far I love it. So when I found out that there was a Portal 2 Rune baby that had recently been born, I had to try for him. Plus I love the line edits on him, what all with the cords on him and his glowy-ness

His favorite game is Hot Potato, and his favorite food, potato flavored oil. He may be kinda weird at first, but once you get to know him, and take a long look into Oscar's fun, loyal, love filled eyes, you will fall in love with him forever. He loves everything potato related, and everything that has to do with making blue portals appear. Oscar is calm, and loves to play. Missing a sock, or shoe? Well, look in his bed. Chances are he has made a bed for his potato. He loves it like a child, always tucking it into bed, and reading it stories. Yes, this brilliant rune can read. He will hold the book upside down, and squeak out a story. I am still holding onto the fact that his obsession with his potato isn't natural. He also loves laser beams. He will drop everything he is doing, and run as fast as he can after the laser beam. Oscar seems to think he can trap the red glowing dot, and hold it down. It is rather cute to watch. He could play with a laser beam for hours straight.

I'm not sure what exactly drew me to him, but I just feel like he is the baby rune for me. I don't have a baby rune, although I do have Bramble. I think he would be the perfect addition to my little family. I know I love this boy with all my heart. I love him and I can see that Bramble loves him also.

I would keep this wonderful little boy in my siggy, right next to Bramble. He would also be in my heart, and with Brambleleaf. I might even make a character thread for him and Bramble.

Tezu was created by accident, in fact it seems that his whole life was some sort of accident, he feels that he was created for something great, no matter how much people pestered him about how he was created he still held his head up high and still went on with his life. But, society will have to bring him down, they always do...
"W-what do you mean...Disassembled? Tezu questioned the police bot even though he knew the answer. "We mean. Dead, Pull the plug, reincarnated. Scrap metal." scrap metal is a common nick name for me."Come on Scrap, It was cutie a long time ago but now it's just sick, we don't need anymore scraps wandering the streets." I backed away from the police bot and ran away. I ran as fast as I could, away from that place, even though I knew they would come looking for me, at least I had a few more days to myself until I was caught... I ran and ran until I came to a trash can a fairly large trash can filled with my favorite food, Potatoes, Since nobody in my world liked them, I learned to like them and that little incident that happened at my birthday helped me start to live off of them. Tezu found a place to settle down to think about what he has done to get to this point...
"Lets see," He said to him self starting way in his past. He then closed his eyes to remember the good times. "I remember the first time I opened my eyes," He said with a smile... PurrrrrrrRRRRRRRang,"I think we're finished gentlemen," a mysterious voice said that came from the distance... I remember opening my eyes and seeing the disappointed look on their face, to see me they laughed at me. That's all I remember from that point. He took a bite out of the potato then closed his eyes again, The nest thing I remember is going to flight school... they laughed at me.... Ummm... What about the portal race.... They laughed at me there too... Ummmm... What about birthda- he stopped himself right there and said,"They poised the birthday cake then laughed at me when I spat it out onto the table. He sat there for a minuet then saw the police bot he strapped Tezu to a hovering table then took me away....... Shing, RRRRRRRRRRRRRR, ababababababbbbbsaspoascb....... "Ladies and gentlemen I introduce the latest model of Portal Bot. I give you Tezu!!!!!" Tezu opened his eyes to the claps of a huge audience and said,"I knew I was going to do something great." Tezu then smiled.

.Oddball.
His 'mechanical' appearance, his 'evil' family members, and all that background of his makes people suspect that he, too, is a heartless mechanical dragon. However, that is just a stereotype. In truth he is quite sweet and aesthetic, and cares about flowers and potatoes and having fun with portals, not about obliterating others.
He is the oddball of his family, but he doesn't seem to mind. Ever so optimistic and joyful, Bayloo will always be unique- but delightfully sweet.

.Aesthetic.
It's hard to believe, but it's true. He cares for the tiniest details in the roads, and will stop to inspect a small wildflower growing out of a tiny hole in the ground.
Though he can't draw or sing or whatever, he enjoys listening to birdsong and looking at masterpieces, and all those beautiful stuff. He is emotional at times; and who knows? He may sob at a sad story...

.Optimistic.
Bayloo is always so optimistic. Though his sister just completely obliterates his potatoes, he thinks: 'I wlil grow new ones' and goes to tend his other potatoes instead of grieving over the ashes. His family may think of him as a disgrace, but he doesn't get gloomy or sad. He lives his own life happily, and that's what is important.

.Curious.
He enjoys traveling through his own portals(not his sister's, for goodness sake!) to visit various places. He enjoys seeing new kinds of geography, dragons, bearers, plants, potato specimen...everything! His unlimited curiosity sometimes leads to him getting lost in the other side of Eldemore, but that doesn't stop him from being curious. He does fear dark alleys and some places, but his curiosity wins over. It's easy to see him get into unwelcome trouble...but hey, getting a lot of experience is certainly worth it!

♬Potatoes
Everybody knows he loves potatoes, this sweet little child. He loves eating them, using them as cushions or pillows, or as comfort toys, and he loves their scent. Bayloo is certainly a genius in finding ways to use potatoes; and yes, he is good at cooking or making delicious mashed potatoes, in fact.

♬Mislead
It's not his fault he makes one-way portals! But he does tend to get lost in his own portals, and gets confused once in a while. Luckily, though, he doesn't go that far away and can be found soon. He tends to run away easily when he finds himself in trouble.

♬Easy escaper
I doubt he will ever be caged or imprisoned. He can create portals even in little space; he may run away simply by creating a small portal and sliding through. This will be good in emergencies, but he tends to annoy adult dragons or bearers; as when he gets into trouble and is getting scolded, he doesn't bother to stay and listen and just disappears through his portals.

♬Trauma
Bayloo fears getting his potatoes lost or destroyed, Of course, his sister is his sister, but he's very upset and scared when she destroys his potatoes. Also, he can't sleep well without having a potato as a pillow. He gets sad when his potatoes sprout, because that means it is changing and he can no longer roll them around with ease. Plus, the potatoes smell different then. When that happens, he plants them and cares for them well, until they create a new generation of potatoes for him to love.

♬Gardener
Though he cares mostly for potatoes, he loves all sorts of plants. Queer, eh? A mechanical portal dragon loves plants. Well, it is ironic, but that is the truth. He has a tiny garden with potatoes, some random dandelions and other little plants. He prefers little, insignificant wildflowers to the large and fancy ones. He never lets a plant wilt or die; he is amazing at caring for them! When he happens to see plants in pain when passing by, he stops to water them and make sure they'll become healthier soon.

♬Little Things
Bayloo cares deeply for small objects. Like wildflower weeds, tiny marbles, little sprouts from the ground, baby potatoes, and such. Even if he is supposed to be in a hurry he will stop to inspect a small thing on the way. You know the saying, the bird that flies the highest can see the most? Bayloo thinks that it's wrong. He is the kind of 'bird that flies low and sees details.' It can annoy companions, of course, since he lags behind. However he doesn't mind, and it's an habit that cannot be fixed.

Elekron loves potatos, because one day he went outside feeling depressed and lonely because he'd recently escaped a fight with his sister, and his parents didn't even care. He was going to run away ,but as he began flapping his wings, he spotted a peculiar little sprout in the dark brown earth! Pulling as hard as his tiny body could, Elekron uncovered a pale, brown thingy. Sneaking back to his home, he carefully washed it, realizing that it was a potato. This silly little root kept him from running away, and Ele felt like he owed it some debt, so from that day on, Elekron has loved potatoes.
~ADHD & ADD~
I was once telling Elekron to stop balming his potatos for destroying things.I kept on talking until he ran away! I tried to catch hm but he was like a falcon.He was chasing a butterfly a very interesting kind.I noticed it looked different then the other ones. I took a shortcut and took a picture of it and went back to chasing Elekron.Elekron couldn't keep his focus and kept on doing other things.I finally caught him gave him a potato and took him back home.
~Pure & Kind~
Once Elekron was wandering in the woods by our awesome treehouse.He saw some rune wandering in the forest.He quickly realized it was homeless.He flew down and appeared in front of it.He brang the rune up and showed it to me. I told him to clean it up and give it some food.He let it take a bath and found out its a he! Elekron gave him a carrot and some lettuce(I do a little gardening myself) and as place to sleep for the night. The next day we put him in a adoption center we said goodbye and left.

Elekron was the oddest out of everyone he met.His mom disaproved of him his dad ignored him and he had a potato hating sister so one day he set out to find a friend.He went to one tough looking rune.He asked, "do you want to be friends?He said,"No you're to weird to be friends with me." Elekron walked away insulted. He asked countless other rune and they always said no and something about how weird.He ran back home with his vision blurred.He went to his nest and into his secret hole with two rooms.A potato room and a play room.

One day Elekron was playing with his potato's. His sister came up and and kicked his potato's and smashed and destroyed them.He started tearing up but he came up with a plan. His plan was to make secret big secret holes where his sister won't find him.They would also be hard to find and you wouldn't fall in them.He started working but there was one problem.He couldn't dig!Elekron quickly found out that he's wings are very good shovels.He dug his hole put his potatos there and covered it up.

I was playing with Elekron on a nice day.I was playing with his potatos with him. He was burying one with sprouts and putting hay on another(when a potato stalk gets big you have to put hay on the dirt so the potato grows).He lost one of his potato before and he was still heartbroken about it.I went into the place where he lost it and tore apart the place looking for it.When he was planting one of his potatos I walked up to him and presented him with the potato!He was showing signs of happiness and gratefulness.I think he became more careful that day because he didn't want to lose any of his potatos again.

[size=85]The color scheme is really what drew me to this rune. Too many times have I seen blue and white used together, or black and red, but I always love black and blue together, and it looks perfect with the theme of this adorable little creature. I'm a huge fan of the Portal games, and the idea of this Rune is just perfect. How he's created all techno-like is adorable, I've always had a fondness for robots and mechanical thing. Everything about him is absolutely perfect, but my favorite part is his wings.I love how they are drawn.They are so dragon-like with the wires and the power source thing that might be powering it.When I saw him I thought I had to have him.He was the first rune that I really really really wanted!When my sisters showed me him I took one look and thought I have to get him.I was going to try my hardest on this harder then any other adoptable I've ever tried out for.This is the first rune I've ever tried out for and i'm determined to get him.

Sovereign was going to make Nornia a present on her creation day because he felt like it.He got his rune bearer to "assist" him in making him.Sovereign forced his rune bearer to go get supplies and program him.

Sovereign built the skeleton for him and built a machine that made portals.He also gave him jets on his back super speed and stealth and lasers.He gave him razor sharp wings and hawk eyes with night vision infared and regular vision.He gave him great hearing that can shield bad noises. He used black titanium and lapis lazuli to make him. He started putting it all together to make the ultimate killing machine!What He didn't know was that he was programed with a nice personality.He got put him together and made him so advanced he would grow until he was about 3 ft 5. He put it all together gave it to Nornia.Nornia said" is this supposed to be a rune with no power?" Sovereign knew he forgot something on Elekron's creation day when he finally got power he started sprinting around the nest.Sovereign got mad at his creation because it was so happy and causing no misery!

He tried to catch him but he was to fast and blended in. He finally gave up on him and just let him live. when Elekron found potatos he just ignored it all and never paid attention to him ever. He would try and make him evil by making his sister cause misery and pain for him. That never worked so he just did his jobs of him causing misery.

Going A Litle Deeper

Chispa is a very... bubbly fellow. He is bound to bring light to darker times by doing anything he can to brighten someone's mood. It is rare to see him without a smile, especially when hes with his potato, Spud.

[x]Goof-off

If theres one thing i absolutely love about Chispa its that he isnt afraid to be humorous. I love how he will join me in my so called 'derpy' moments. Its quite fun and only adds to why our bond is so strong.
He will commonly act out to cheer me up, just to get me smiling with him.

[x]Cuddly

Chispa is one for hugs and cuddles. He loves to be held and snuggled it warms him up. I love giving him affection as well. Its the best thing to give and receive love, y'know! He commonly curls up on my shoulder, enjoying the passing time as i stroke his metallic head. This little dragon will commonly give a soft whirring noise that is similar to purring. Its almost like music for me, beautiful.

Chispa is always up for a good story. in fact, hes constantly whining for me to read to him, and of course, i do. He seems to like Mystery and sci-fi novels rather than romance, drama, and other things of that sort.
Stories that have robots or other droid-like creatures are his absolute favorite.

Having lived with his sibling whom constantly badgered him, he is very cautious of strangers. He commonly curls up and hides with Spud, his potato when i have guests over. He wont normally approach a new person unless hes mustered enough courage to sniff their hand and that takes quite a bit. The only other person he really takes to is My friend Cheshire

Chispa is a very friendly little droid. He is known for being kind to being both big and small from the largest dog to the smallest potato. He tries to get on the good sides of others, knowing it will be of help later on. He has only ever wanted a friend and to get a friend, you need to be a friend.

Yes, Curiosity killed the cat, but for this little fella, its a gateway to the world. He loves observing new things! Its a bad habit for him to get into things hes not supposed to touch though.
When he sees something that he hasnt seen before, you can bet that he will be all over it. Sometimes, i can see the questions popping into his head. "Whats this thing? Whats this do? Can i touch it?

[x]Perfectionist

Nothing can be out of place for him, unless its his own property of course. I will come home from a short walk at times to find my papers organized in neat stacks. Its amazing how fast he works though. its like he already knows where to put everything! My books are commonly sorted by alphabet, my glass ornaments by color, and even my video games by most played. He is almost like my mother at times, chirping loudly when i make a mess.
At least my house isnt a complete wreck though.

Chispa is a walking music box. Although he can only make simple sounds such as chirps and chimes, he seems to easily manipulate these noises into an array of songs. He loves music, He seems to use it to portray his emotions at times. he only appeals to mechanical sounding sounds, since he is able to copy the noises easier than with songs with lyrics.

Chispa is one excitable little rune. He has a passion for adventure. although this can lead him into trouble sometimes, he takes his expeditions everywhere in the house. These places range from my backyard, to my attic, to the TV antennae on top of my house, the one place i have trouble getting him down from.

Why I Love This Little Guy
The mere fact that he likes potatoes really made me love him. That alone sparks what kind of personality he has. i havent ever seen that in another rune before. My favorite color naturally is blue and the way you made him look so magnificent without overdosing on any one color really brought my attention to this little fella. just by looking at him, he seems absolutely adorable. People say a picture is worth a thousand words and in this case its true. he is truly amazing and almost indescribable.
I also love how he looks both mechanical and alive at the same time. He TRULY does have a life-like appearance. This rune really takes on a life of its own. its purely amazing.
I also read up on his sister and I felt the strong need to give him a loving home. I'd hate to see this little guy tormented by his sibling any longer and it'd break my heart to see him have his potato taken away ;-;. His backstory is heart-breaking and i find that if i do win him, i would give him the best possible home i could.
I would also love to have the honor of calling him my first rune dragon. I would try to adopt one more rune after him so that he has a little friend, but only after he has adjusted to his new home ^^

Home Fit For a King
I would love for him to fill the empty cave of rune dragons in my character thread as well as be in my signature. He just seems to fit perfectly in that one empty spot. He would really brighten things up.
I would RP with him as well as a dragon hatchling. He would be my best little buddy and sit on my shoulder wher ever I go ^w^

Story:
Chispa, being himself like always, was experimenting with his portals. The young Rune would hiccup a blue portal into the floor and I would let him use wads of tissue to drop into them. I would rarer him use that rather than anything of value.
His loyal spud sat at his side, resting against the cool metal of his thigh as he dropped another was of paper into the blue portal. We never really knew what ever happened to the wads but at least they wouldn't cause too much damage where ever they went.
Chispa began to grow curious and hiccuped another portal. Where the older one was. It was the same, neon blue color as his eyes. I had always appealed to those sapphire eyes of his. Tearing off another wad of paper, I gave it to the small Rune and he dropped it in. Same results happened, the paper disappeared.
I sighed.
"What are you expecting to happen?" I asked the young rune. He gave a metallic whirring noise, spreading his wings and letting his gears clink. He was stretching.
Spud though, was knocked over from his place against Chispa and went tumbling into the portal. The young rune squealed, trying to grab it but falling late as the portal closed.
I gasped, holding him close as he seemed to sob. The poor fella. I felt I should have stopped the vegetable. I knew how much it meant to him. His quiet sobs rang in my ears as I patted his back. Although all he could really do when 'crying' was make upset wurbbling noises, it was still heart-breaking.
I closed my eyes as i tried to think of something to comfort my little friend. Nothing came to mind so i held him close, letting him cry.
I blinked once as i felt something hit my ankle. I tilted my head just the slightest bit as not to disturb my grieving friend. The smooth, brown skin of Spud caught my eye.
"Chispa!" I gasped, leaning down and picking the vegetable up for him to see.
Chispa gave an overjoyed ringing noise, flapping his metallic wings as he wrapped himself around his beloved potato. I gave a sigh of relief, watching as the dragon nuzzled his friend. 'hes a strange one...' I thought to myself quietly. a smile spread across my lips as i dwelt further into the thought.
'but that's why i love him...'

Any Quirks:
Like i said before, Chispa is a walking Music box. Its very common to find him nuzzling Spud, and humming a mechanical tune. He somehow manages to produce sounds similar to The Blue Man Group, Daft Punk, and occasionally a low bass-like noise. Its very amusing to watch the array of noises he can produce and how he can organize them into a steady song. The tone of his music depends on his mood though. The higher pitched and shime-like his music is, it means he is happy. When his noises are low and growlish, hes feeling somewhat upset.

I absolutely adore his colouring and
have just become enthralled by Portal the game.
I feel that its time to introduce a baby into the
family to see how Marlow and Danika feel about
them.

Everywhere my Other two go. Signatures,
Art works, My cottage and perhaps even get a metal
one made with real lights

Any Quirks:
Well to start he adores Potatoes.
Odd for such a young thing I do agree and
seeing his mother hates them.
Next is his incessant pinging noise which
he makes instead of Screeching. He can
screech but it sound zappy and he hates
that sound. Thirdly he adores to hanging
upside down from the light fixtures in the
cottage watching my make dinner which
now has to be potato free as he went
haywire after i began to peel a potato.

Personality:
Hyper-Active:
This little fellow is as bouncy as a brand new bouncy ball. Pinging from spot to spot and enjoying constant interaction from other runes and humans. His hyper active moods tend to frustrate most older dragons but a few find him funny to watch.

Easily Distracted:
Being hyper tends to have a slight downfall. Trying to engage this fellow in conversation is like trying to get a five year old to sit for dinner. Anything distracts him even the slightest of light flicker or shadow movement. Shiny objects are dangerous because he will never listen while one is about.

Happy go lucky:
A constant ball of happiness and joy. Hardly ever sad or angered he is great to raise moral among the fellow runes in any situtation and drama. He adores seeing other Runes smile and will always strive for them to have his infectious additude.

Caring:
Always wanting to help and care for his friends is what makes this rune special. Even though he is mechanical he loves to hug. Uncomfortable for the hugee though.

Story/Art:

The Night was young when little Cubix wandered into the kitchen.
He watched silently as his bearer prepared dinner. It took him a few moments
to notice the large bag of his favourite thing beside her. Pinging excitedly he
scuttled across the timber floor to the bag. Looking up he grinned and began
his climb. Once at the top he pinged at the potatoes and looked over them
as if he were looking over a nest of eggs.

Then he watched as his Bearer took one from the sack and held a shiny length
of metal to it. He was beginning to worry for the potatoes safety as the blade
slid into the skin and then peeled it away. Screeching was an odd thing for
Cubix but he knew it was the only way. So inhaling his biggest breath he
screeched so loud the pots hanging from the roof shook and his bearer feel from her chair.

He watched her looking at him in shock then she looked away to the potatoes.
Cubix spread his little body over them and pinged sadly at her hoping she would
know he didnt like her hurting them. She laughed softly and nodded handing him
the semi peeled potato and petting his head. She moved to finish dinner without Potatoes.
