The name Tula, in Germanic, means 'strength,' and since this gorgeous Rune Dragon is a healer, I thought that she'd give strength and hope to her patients, hope that they'd get better again soon, somehow. It also seems to be a happy, bouncy name that would fit this Rune's personality like two snug bugs in a rug.~

Female. I absollutely cannot see this girl as a male, her light tones of pink and just her entire appearence just screams 'Girl' to me.
p e r s o n a l i t y ;;
Tula is a perky, optimistic Rune that always views the world as bright, never dark. Negativity is a huge no-no for her, and if you dare try to be pessimistic around her, she'll kill you with kindness. Being a Plumage Rune, Tula would have to be as bubbly as possible, to keep others from thinking the worst. How would you feel if there was a dreary nurse around, always doing stuff like 'Ohh, they're gonna die, there's no use..' Just no. Really and truly, she's never seen this many patients before, and it's stressed her out quite a bit, making her a little snappy when you bother her, especially when she's doing something important. But overall, she always has a light air about her. Some find her optimism quite annoying and irritating, and Tula must learn to accept that, or else it might hurt her. Very rarely does she get saddened, and that is one way to get her to feel down. Not much can get her out of it, not even her friends, but she always manages to recover from the darkness, and when she does, it's like nothing ever happened at all. Tula has a habit of getting very naggy and overprotective sometimes, especially around younger Rune Dragons.Whenever they try to do anything dangerous, she'll quickly catch on to it, and she'll scold them to no end, but not without a lecture on 'How dangerous that is.' You see, with her bubbly, motherly attitude comes alot of conversations, lectures, lessons, motivation and random outbursts.~
Why do you wish to have him/her:
I come from a very medical family, 'doctory' if you will. My mom is a nurse and my dad is a doctor, so I freaked out when I saw this darling on the Created Pets oekaki board. I know that every day, many lives are saved by these people, and in my opinion, they don't get enough respect. So, with this Rune Dragon, I'll (attempt) to show my pride for coming from a family like mine. And before you say it, I fully aware that this is merely a contest for a drawing, but the effort is real. The doctors, nurses, and whoever else of the world will probably not know how hard I'm working, but at least my parents know how much I appreciate what they do.~I hope.
Where will you keep him/her:
I've been thinking about changing my JBD thread a little with all my adopted babies. That way, I won't forget about all my babs. Miss Tula would make a great addition to the family, I'm sure of that. Currently, I'm working on a huge picture of all my characters, and I'm sure she'd look great in there. She may even take up a part of my signature..To be honest, this is the first Rune I've ever tried out for, so it'll be exciting to see how this goes!
Would you like to breed him/her in the future:
Probably. It would be nice to see Tula's little babies hopping around everywhere, and with her personality, I think she'd make a great momma. I'd prefer that she'd be with a darker Rune, maybe with some red on him.

Oh, Tula's got plenty. But her major ones are what truly divide her from a boring character and bright, realistic one.

• Before she sleeps, Tula always goes on a little flight around her sleeping area, then settles down in the middle, her tail tip facing North.
• When she's healing a patient, especially from vampirism, she nods once or twice, for who-knows-why.
• While she's preening, Tula always starts with the bandage on her wing, then goes to her back, and then the front.

Feathers Which Heal
Many Runes have been infected with vamparisim as of late and we have enlisted the help of the Plumage Runes to aid us in creating a cure. The Plumage Rune is a common dragon to find in medical bays and with those who pursue the teachings of healing. These dragons are covered in soft bright feathers which carry medicinal properties that counteract disease and curses. Though their magic can not fully expel the effects of these ailments, they do help create an immunity to them after adding herbs and properties to strengthen it's magic. Doctors and herbalists prize this Rune as their partner for it's easy going nature and the dragon's never ending patience with their patients. These Runes are great for tending to the sick and injured and have extensive knowledge of the many curses that inflict the people and dragons of Eldemore. They are now currently helping us at the moment in finding a cure, but this little Rune has been searching for a bearer to call it's own. This Dragon is not often seen outside the general public, so having it around would be an asset to any bearer in need of aid.

It means healer in German, I choose healer as for the look like bandage on her wing, and I read that she has feathers that heal, so I choose Heiler. I would choose Heil as the short version or nickname you pefer to say.

I choose female dued to her looks, I do believe that males can be pink but I feel that this one must be a female instead of a male. I guess healers are mostly females, just got this instinct to choose her as a female rune.
Personality:

Why do you wish to have him/her:
Look at her, I promised myself that I will get a male rune for my second one. But I fell in love with Heil, and I could never make her a male dued to her looks. I love her right from the start, I just did. I was trying for this witch rune which I fell in love with at first, but looking at this made me re-think, and from that moment, I knew I only like the witch rune, a wrong thought in that moment. But even though I didn't cancel my form, I didn't make it to the choosing round of four. So, I just went right to here and filled up a form. I am sure I am not just liking her but love her. I like her fluffy look, and pink is my favourite color. I am not going to go on with her design anymore, I love the way she is, and the unqiue way she is, that's that, I just know that these are the two facts that I will always think of, the others are the same, don't know if I will forget her, but I am sure I won't at all.
Where will you keep him/her:
My sig, once I sort out things for halloween. I will keep her in my Runes thread, so far I only have one, so she would be having the second slot. And my trading rules, let's see if I have any space left over, once I also fix it up for halloween, which I feel too lazy too.

Yes, I would love to. Looking at her, her babies are sure to be super adorable!
Any Quirks:
When's she is tired, she will scream once she is alone in her room. Hopefully she doesn't make herself more tired. Whenever she eats her salmon, raw type, guess what she does, she places cream ontop of it and gobble it down.

its "heal" In latin. I thought it was a pretty name and it suited this lovely girly.

Female. I really cant see anything else.




Personality:
Sanare has a bright, funny personality that makes her an absolute lovely rune to be around.
Sometimes Sanare is tired of healing the ill runes and can easily get lazy on the "job" of healing ill runes.
If you know what I mean, Sanare can actually be more vicious than the vampire infected runes. She's a sweetie-bunny but can turn in a flash. Thats why I, Celeri, chose her to be my rune. She can be a bit prissy though, and can give everyone a headache when she whines. She has a very funny way of flying bu is quite proud of it, she tends to glide,then flap twice, etc. Now, I bet your wondering, how does she catch vampire runes? Well, she nose-bomb's toward them, where I catch them in a net and give them to Benathorn to study on and try to heal.
Sanare has a love for her patients and even if they try to bite her she understands that they are in pain too. She is passionate and a joy to be around. Most times.



Why do you wish to have him/her:
Ive tried for about five runes. I have zero. Nothing more. nothing less. And i bet someone WITH a rune will get her, but i wont whine if i wont get her. I would feel good for them C:
But i love this rune, and Have fallen in love <333
Plus, my dad is a Pharmacist, and I love him very much but I don't see him too much :C getting sanare would be like taking a piece of dad with me <3 it would also be a honor to him, kind of a gift to show how much I love him.

Story :

Vamprirism was raging now in Eldermore. A few people had been bitten by their runes, and Benathorn and Jendalie were busy treating the patients. My rune, Askance, had died by a unormally strong Vampire bite. Benathorn had found me wandering and asked for help with the runes. I of course, said yes. That's when I found Sanare. She had that glint in her eye that reminded me of me. From that day we spent hours together, until finally Bena knew we were partners. Forever. Together.

Bandages were done by flowerdust everything else by me.

Meaning From Heaven in Greek

Male

Urian is a very soft hearted guy, however he is not sappy, shy or the typical pink character. He can get quite cocky at times, he often is mistaken for a girl, so he has the need to show others that he is just as manly as the next guy. Though often he isnt. He often gets himself into trouble and gets himself hurt by simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Though one thing that tends to stand out about him is his braveness, he doesn't fear all too much (Or at least he tries not to show it) and he is quite reckless.

He has a deep love for anything spooky and scary, which could possibly explain his close friendship with Nevermore (A good friend of mine is trying out for the Halloween Dragon, I got Silvers permission for this~). He has a slightly dark mind, but he would never hurt anyone or do anything dark.



Cocky

Urian has the horrible habit of wanting and believe that he is the best, he often shows off and tries to make himself seem more 'manly' than the others, what ever he thinks that means. I suppose it comes from his pet peeve of being pink, and often mistaken for a girl.

Reckless

Urian often bursts into situations without thinking them through, he is more of a go with the flow kind of guy rather than plan things out like any wise being would do. Adding to this he gets a bit headstrong when active reckless, often thinking he can take on anything by himself.

Bad luck

Urian has pretty bad luck, he always tends to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is constantly getting himself hurt in the stupidest ways, such as tripping, flying and walking into windows, getting hit by things, thinks falling on him... you name it, he finds himself in the situation. However this isn't the only time bad luck effects his life, often when he is trying to impress A lady someone, he finds something silly happening and makes himself look like a fool.

Strong willed

Urian is the kind of guy that when protecting someone he loves you can throw everything you have at him and he will just keep pushing through to help his friends, he will do anything to help someone he loves. Being as reckless as he is he wont stop, even against impossible odds.

Trustworthy

As said before Urian is very reliable with friends, he is the person that no matter what you can always trust to keep your secrets, or come flying to help you out, though he may be a bit annoying sometimes, and his head get swelled he is a good friend to have around.

Deep down Softy

Deep deep down, way down he is a big softy kind guy who just loves to help people out, he hates to see anyone hurt and when he does it gives him the feeling of hurt. He hates seeing anyone sad, and always tries to help his friends out no matter the cost but he hides this mooshy side of him.

Emotional

Though he tries not to show it he is a bit emotional when it comes to things like sad books, shows ect, he finds it easy to get caught up in a story. During sad films its very easy to fin him sobbing away, but he would never tell you that.

Scary and Spooky Things

Urian has a odd love of anything scary, he loves watching horrifying movies and reading frightening books. But must of all he loves getting frightened, due to this Halloween in his favorite holiday. He has a strange belief in witch craft and dark magic, he has some interesting views on the 'tainted' magic.

Knives

Urian has a deep love for sharp things, even more so blades, he loves their lustrous gleam as well as their dangerously sharp edge... So beautiful yet so dangerous. Its not all too good of an idea to let him get ahold of his blade, due to his bad luck there is a large chance that he would hurt himself or someone around him

Well I have seen rune dragons around for quite some time and I have been following the adopts for a while, yet I never really tried out for one. I clicked on this one out of curiosity and love for the design, however what really got me interested in trying for Urian was the description of his type. I adored the concept and fond my self growing attached to the idea, so I finally decided to try out for my first Rune.

I am a big time roleplayer, and an artist.

I do have a character thread where I would have him, and I do rotate featuring my characters in my siggy, so he would be in there often enough.

I most likely will, but I am not all to sure at the moment, if I win him he will be my first Dragon so I probably will be very picky with who I pair him with.

Urian has a couple of quirks, but his most interesting quirk is that despite him being a healer, he tends to get hurt alot
himself. He is quite the cluts and often finds himself tripping and getting into unnecessary trouble. He just has that kind of luck. Another strange quirk is his love for sharp things, he is attracted to knives, blades and anything else that has a sharp side, which isnt so good to due his previous quirk. He also LOVES dark creepy things, anything spooky or mysterious makes him swoon. Aside from those odd quirks, he does have a irrational fear of Ice and deep water.
