Many Runes have been infected with vamparisim as of late and we have enlisted the help of the Plumage Runes to aid us in creating a cure. The Plumage Rune is a common dragon to find in medical bays and with those who pursue the teachings of healing. These dragons are covered in soft bright feathers which carry medicinal properties that counteract disease and curses. Though their magic can not fully expel the effects of these ailments, they do help create an immunity to them after adding herbs and properties to strengthen it's magic. Doctors and herbalists prize this Rune as their partner for it's easy going nature and the dragon's never ending patience with their patients. These Runes are great for tending to the sick and injured and have extensive knowledge of the many curses that inflict the people and dragons of Eldemore. They are now currently helping us at the moment in finding a cure, but this little Rune has been searching for a bearer to call it's own. This Dragon is not often seen outside the general public, so having it around would be an asset to any bearer in need of aid.

-The feather on the top of her head falls into her eyes often, and she is always having to fix it. How frustrating!

-She's not too fond of loud noises, so sometimes you can catch her wearing fuzzy earmuffs to keep the sound out

She can be very overprotective of her loved ones. She will bite and fight for your safety, defending a friend, defending family. It does not matter who she is facing. If her (somewhat) frightening verbal warnings don't ward you off, she will have no chice but to attack.

This rune can be very busy some days. You may find that she has no free time and is running around trying to get herbs and medicine for her patients. With her work-loving personality, she can be collecting medicines all day.

Tami is very generous. She tends to the ill without charge of any type, and cares for them as much as she can. When she lets whoever seemed to be ill go back to their home, she will give them herbs just in case they get sick again, along with a snack or some kind of helpful item.

This young rune can be very sensitive. If you decided to insult or joke about this little girl she will fly up into the clouds, chirping sadly, and she would find a perch in the forest to stay on until she though the people who had made fun of her had left. She would occasionally cry.

She can get easily scared. She will cry out and run away if she sees an animal that "looked" dangerous to her. She doesn't like to go to rocky places, or to go on boats, or planes. She is afraid that the rocks will fall down on her, that the boat would sink, and that the plane would crash.

Tami can be very motherly and careful- she is a nurse, after all. She knows how to care for younger runes and has a hope to have at least one in the near future.

This Plumage rune is very respectful to others. She doesn't interrupt when they talk, she won't eat much when she is invited to someone else's house (until they bring out the banana bread if they do have any.). She listens to what they are saying and answer kindly.

Finally, Tami is very worry-filled. When things go chaotic, or if she has too many patients she will get really worried, chirping frantically as she rushes from animal to animal, flying in and out of the room where she keeps them to get herbs.

Paranormal Activity: This is why I have a fluffy white rune curled up next to me every night. She is scared of the dark and is very afraid of the paranormal, making Halloween not a favorite holiday of hers'.

Dream:
Tami dreams to one day be a rune doctor, helping out with sick runes. In detail, she wants to help baby runes. She just loves the little hatchlings. She hopes to have her own baby runes one day, too.

Why do you want to have him/her:
Who wouldn't want a warm, fluffy ball of cuteness? Her colors just seem so perfect. She seems so kind and sweet, who could resist that? This rune simplify represents hope and optimism, purely because of her talent. She would lead any rune or human through pain or grief, pushing them on.

What I really like about this amazing little runie is that she is so simple. I've seen so many design-heavy runes before, and the almost never caught onto me. This rune also tends to resemble my friend- kind, sweet, and caring. She will be moving in less than a year, very far away, and we would most likely never meet in real life again. Out of all the runes ever created, this rune would be the one I would pick to remember her by- this rune screams every trait of her shy, kind personality. She is a great friend of mine- we met way back, and I never thought about what would happen if one of us moved. Well, she is moving soon. And this rune could comfort me while I remember my friend... this rune would keep us connected forever.


She is one of the best friends someone could ever ask for. So would this rune.

Yep! She is strangely obsessed with banana bread- don't ask. If you bought a loaf of the fruit-bread, she'd go crazy. She would steal it at the first chance she got and would eat the whole loaf in less than a few minutes.

She gets even more berserk when you cook it yourself- trust me, she knows the smell from anywhere, and she can smell it from far away. There was even a time when someone a few houses away came knocking on my door, holding Tami, and the woman told me she had flown through a window and tried to pry her oven open to get the bread.

Other:
I sat outside of the house. I heard a dead leaf scrape against the pavement of the road as it limply blew with the cold wind. Today was a sad day. Nothing was going right for me. Nothing. Someone almost kidnapped Ramses- and the person who attempted it hurt him badly, though Ramses gave him a few bites to tell them not to mess with him. The man had dropped Ramses after he was bitten, and stomped his foot down on the poor rune's leg. I spent hours patching him up, and it was now mid-afternoon. A bird's caw sounded in the far distance, sending its mournful calls through the air. A playful scream of a child from across the forest. I sighed and traced my hand along the hard, rough wood that was my door. I gripped the doorknob and turned it slowly. The metal squealed as the door opened.

I walked inside. Turned into the living room. There, I saw Ramses hobbling to the back door. He screeched, which came out as a faint, tired squeak. He flashed his teeth at something outside. I glanced outside. Among the dead leaves, a flash of white dove behind a bush. I shrugged. I lifted Ramses, who was quite heavy due to his jackal-like size. I gently set him down on the couch. "Just stay here." I murmured. "If you see whatever that white thing was, just say something. The last thing we want is to have you hurt that leg again." I said. "Here, I'll open up the window a little bit so you can get some fresh air." I told the injured rune, opening up the window just a crack. There was a screen outside of the window so no insects came in.

I sat in my room. The t.v.'s sound filled the room, its light flickering around the dim room. I decided that I should check back on Ramses. As I walked down the wooden stairs, I heard Ramses' claws clicking around on the floor. I gasped. "Ramses!" I yelled frantically. But I stopped once I got into the room.The window was opened all the way, and the screen was torn into pieces. Ramses sat there, his leg healed, and right by his side there was a fluffy, cute-looking rune.


Ramses showed me his perfect leg. He didn't limp around. His chirps and screeches didn't come out as feeble squeaks. He was healed. I stared down at the fluffy pink-and-white rune. It stared back up at me, an adorable smile sprawled out on the face of the small rune. Bright blue eyes stared from the fluff and tufts of fur. She was way too cute to throw out. "Hey there..." I murmured softly to the rune. I reached out. It stretched up its little body and butted her head up against the palm of my hand. Fluffy. Warm. When she leaned back down, I noticed the pinkish rune on her wing. Then, I realized. This rune was the one who healed Ramses. "You can stay with us... if you want." I murmured to the irresistible little rune. She chirped softly. Yes. She said yes. I smiled as pet her fluffy head. "Thank you." I whispered. "Thank you for healing my rune."


Tami's "Hospital"


This here is Tami's little "hospital".

She keeps it in a hollow tree used by a group of runes many years ago. From those wild runes who lived there, the hollow is quite organized. The floor isn't that rugged, and the walls are not rotting much. This little hole in the tree is about five feet wide and four feet tall, making it quite cramped. It is planted at the top of an old, ancient oak in the center of the forest that is behind my house. Tami takes in animals like foxes, raccoons, birds, and other animals like that, including runes. Tami will separate two patients if one is predator and the other is prey. Tami will tell you about how she found the hollow in the first place and when she decided to turn it into a hospital.

It was only a week later from when Solar adopted me when I asked if I could explore the forest. She said yes, so I went right out into the forest. I tell you, it was purely beautiful. Tri-colored leaf covered the ground like a colorful harvest-themed quilt, and birds sung a soothing lullaby that made me want to drop right down onto the ground and fall asleep!

It was not long before I found a found a red fox. His leg was broken. I knew I needed to help the fox, but where could I heal him? I couldn't just bring him into Solar's house and he would get killed for sure down on the ground. So I lugged the fox onto my back. It seem calm. I flew up into the trees, searching the treetops for a safe place. Finally, I saw it! It was perfect!Right on the top of a very tall tree, there was a big hole! I took the fox in. The smell was musty, and it showed there wasn't anyone- or anything- occupying this home. I set the fox down and made sure it would not leave. Then, I flew down to the ground and collected some grass. I got as much as I could stuffed into my mouth and hanging in my talons. I flew back up and put the grass onto the ground, spreading it out. I still needed to make another stop. I swooped back down and collected more grass. I added it to the pile. I gently took the injured fox to the bed of grass. I studied his leg, and swooped back to the ground to get some healing items. I got a few cobwebs, and a special herb to help broken bones. I flew back up. I told him to eat the herb and then I wrapped up the leg the best I could with the cobwebs I had. All I needed to get was some prey for him. I didn't like killing animals, so I looked around for an animal that was already dead. I came across a rabbit.It didn't die to long ago. I think it had a trap ensnared in its paw, and it had bled too much. I sighed. It was a sad sight to see. I got the rabbit, found the den, and gave it to the fox. It cautiously ate. I finally dug a small hole in the somewhat-rotted wood, which was easy, and made one last trip to the ground to get some water for the hole. Now, he could survive for the night. I flew back home, and I check back on my animals and take it new ones at the same time every evening, as well as the morning to give out food and water.

I find that I seem to be very useful to my bearer. I mean, she's always gushing over me about how I healed Ramses when we first met and all. She's always complimenting me. I love my Bearer and the rune that lives with me.

My bearer says she reminds me of her friend. She said that her friend is moving away soon, and I will remind her about her each day. She told me that she is really grateful that I am here. Hey, I'm here to help!
