"Lizard Runes come in many shapes and colors. A very rare type is the Lapis Lazuli Rune. This beautiful lizard is mainly seen in at night and in the mountain regions of Eldemore. Their golden scales can be easily seen in the dark and are used to attract insects and moths to them. At a distance a group of Lapis Lazuli Lizard Runes will look like dancing lights in the night as they hunt for a meal. These runes make a soft howling whistle when they are happy or excited. This haunting call, while not very loud, seems to echo all around anyone within earshot. This Rune has very large and powerful talons, which it will use to pounce on large insects or defend itself. This Lizard Rune is a powerful jumper and can quickly move among branches and rocks while hunting for insects. While it does posses a long tongue like other Lizard Runes it prefers to use its sharp fangs, allowing it to easily capture and eat prey."

Why I Choose This Name
I choose this name beacause it means "bight light" in Japanese. I also love the sound and look of this name. I think it suits the personality I have for her and her glowing gold markings. It is pronounced AH-kee-koh. Overal I think this is the perfect name for this dazling and perfect rune. Lastly I think the Japanese language is just stunning for this Rune`s name.

Altair is the strong and silent type, he tends to keep to himself
and isn't very verbal except when extremely happy when he
fills the air with his whistling.

altair stood alone, the mountain dark behind him and his
eyes sparkling as he watched stars light up the sky, we where
tired all of us since we had a long day of travels behind us so we
settled down close to a fire Azreth built and i watched the little
rune, he seemed quiet, at peace. The runes I've seen always
looked filled with thoughts and where extremely verbal, growling
and whistling at everything and everyone.

Mischievous
Even though Altair is quiet he still has a mischievous nature
and enjoys teasing Jace and Azreth. He also loves acting
absolutely clueless about things until the other person
gets frustrated.

The first night back near the ocean Azreth was filled
with the excitement of a kid as he started filling the sky with
beautiful glowing fireflies. As I watched the wonderful event I
noticed a sly look cross Altair's face and i leapt into the sky mouth
wide open. I realised that even though the little rune is quite quiet
he had a great sense of mischief.

Strong willed
This little guy doesn't take no for an answer at all, if he
wants something he'll get it, or die trying. He also never
steps down from a fight and won't give up once he has set
his mind to something.

When faced with an angry Azreth (in dragon form)
Altair stood his ground not making a sound mouth filled
to the max with fireflies his cheeks glowing. Throwing a
fit Azreth attacked the little rune but the rune slid beneath
him and swallowed the bugs sticking out his tongue at the
ancient.

Slightly ADD
Altair does not like sitting still, and like a shark needs to
move to survive, this little rune loves keeping busy whether
its pointing at the clouds or following a river.

We all sat under the stars laughing and talking about
the adventures we would like to go on but the little rune
couldn't sit still, he kept leaping at shooting stars and following
little bugs to their hideouts.

Any Quirks:
Fireflies
Have you noticed that there are less fireflies in the skies of
Eldemore this year? That’s completely thanks to Altair.
Altair loves getting on Azreth’s nerves by leaping up into
the sky open mouthed as the ancients releases the shiny
bugs into the night. Azreth throws a fit each time but it
seems to just excite Altair even more.

Shooting stars
Each time a shooting star lights up the sky Altair’s tongue
shoots out at the sky trying to catch the bug flying as
fast as light. Each time ends the same though, with
Altair’s tongue on the ground and a confused look
across his face.

Why do you wish to have him/her:
I fell in love instantly, his colors, the way he
looks quiet and mischievous at the same time and I just
fell head over heals, I love the shining beauty of this
rune and honestly adore everything about him.
Where will you keep him/her:
He will definitely inhabit my signature and character thread.
Would you like to breed him/her in the future:
Yes I would like to breed him but I will be slightly picky

The mountains where beautiful as the sun rose
over their jagged peaks and excitement filled me as I
thought about visiting my home town. I haven't been
there since i was seven and didn't notice the extreme
longing I felt for the mountains until i saw it once again
in its spectacular glory. I loved exploring the see and
sands with Azreth (he is an ancient but shh I didn't tell
you) and Jace his summoner but a few days in the
mountains could be amazing. Azreth, Jace and I started
heading up the mountains, my home time sat along its
side and it was a tough climb but the runes and plants all
over the mountain made it worth it.

One night will camping out near a cave in the mountain
Azreth worked his wonders and set the sky alight with fireflies,
we all enjoyed the sight and laughed at Azreth as he danced
with them and leapt through the sky, out of the corner of my
eye i noticed Firefly like glowing but found that it was a little
rune enjoying a meal of the bugs, I slowly neared it and instantly
fell in love with the midnight blue creature and its glowing marking.
Azreth noticed that my attention shifted and came to stand next to
me "Its Lapis Lazuli Lizard rune" he said and groaned "the thing is
chowing down on my fireflies" he growled and walked away.
Completely fascinated i neared the rune and softly told him that I
wasn't a threat, finally close enough to touch the little rune I stuck
out my hand and after clear consideration the rune pressed his head
into my palm and let out a small whistling howl of pleasure, laughing
I sat down and the rune instantly made nest in my lap.

After sleeping with the rune by my my side I felt saddened to leave him
but knew I didn't have a choice so we headed further up the mountain.
After a while a noticed the little rune dragon still on my heels and a smile
crossed my face, he was mine, finally I had my companion, "Little Altair"
I said and lifted him into my arms. As confirmation to the name and being
my Rune he let out another howling whistle and I headed to my hometown,
not only older than the last time i saw it, but happier too.

Looks like Altair caught some fireflies again...
Azrerth's going to throw a fit!

Lothiere is a very quiet Rune dragon, with a very odd passion for dragonflies, dont ask him why, he will just shrug. He is very shy and tends to avoid other RD's, but once he befriends someone he will defend them no matter what the case! He is one of the best kind of friends to have around in times of need, or when you just want a hug! He has a fear of the dark, but he tough's it out, trying to be like the rest of his kind.(Ironic eh?) And he loves, loves, loves to get a treat!, and he doesnt mind eating his veggies!

I love the coloration, and the pattern! But I was especially drawn to the eye's, I just fell in love with him! The colors all blend together so well! I love it x3

Wicker is pretty quick witted with a lithe build and swift movments to boot. She is steathly and persistant; a real hunter. She puts her sticky tongue to good use when hunting her quarry is a real task. By keeping her two eyes on her prey and her ears on look out, she has a great advantage against preditors, or on the other runes during a good game of tag. She is playful most of the time and likes to have a good time. Her favorite game is tag, closely followed by hide-and-seek. Though her heart isn't pure gold, it is gold encrusted... so to speak. She's a good rune with bad habits that can't seem to be broken.
Wick, as she's commonly called, likes to "loose" her friends among the rocks and small caves of the mountains and leave them there for hours while she "searches for them", when in all reality she's eating every insect that is drawn near to her. She loves it when night falls because her eyes don't have to strain as much while she hunts her beloved moths and other night-loving insects. She loves it when I read her books about moths and other night-loving insects. She feels confidant in her ability to capture just about any moth and often lets her eyes wonder when they've drawn close.

:..Why do you wish to have him/her..:
When I read the diffrent types of Jewled Lizard Runes you and Bena were creating, I Googled what each stone looked like and loved what Lapis and Lazuli looked like. The shade of blue was georgeous, and being I loved that stone, I knew I'd love this Rune. The blue and gold is simply a beautiful idea. I love the way this Rune looks and everything about it, and if I am lucky enough to own this geogeous she will be loved for as long as live.

I will keep her everywhere. I will ,hopefully, get to do a collab of all the Jewled Lizard Runes together and do a ton of art and poems of her. I will make her real, though no one would be able to see her, I'd be able to feel her as I strangly can with all my Runes.

Yes, though it will be only with other Jewled Lizard Runes or the Celtics. Basicly I will be SUPER picky.

:..Short Story(ies)..:
Wicker fluttered through darkening sky, that was when the moths that she loved oh so much were most active. Her deep blue scalely skin blened perfectly with the darkening sky, the golden markings on her skin glowing profusly as to attract a moth or two. She grinned wickedly and dived for a branch near the swath of moths. She landed gracefully and silently and spread her wings. She watched the moths intently with her ears on the world around her.
As the moths grew closer to her, Wicker's mouth began to water and her eyes stray from her prize. She was fully confidant in her ability to capture one of the mindless insects even if she wasn't focusing on the prize. She glimpsed a little flash of light beyond the mass of moths. Her curiosity go the better of her as she flapped her wings to take flight. Once off the branch, she flew through the moths, snatching one as she went.
Wicker drew nearer to the little speck of light, now getting larger. Out of no where a little hatchling flew towards her and stopped right in front of her face with a wide, friendly grin spread across it's features. She gasped, dazed about the bright little Glimmer Hatchling that fluttered in front of her face. She'd dropped her moth in her momentariy daze. The little dragon flew playfully around Wicker as her temper began to take the better of her. But she couldn't harm the cute little thing. It didn't mean to make her loose her meal and just wanted someone to play with.
