Rohan hummed softly as he cantered down the paths towards the willow. His willow. He smiled up at the willow overhanging the swamp. 'swimming!' he thought happily to himself. Rohan had no one to swim with him but he didn't mind. He never usually did. Rohan nibbled on some of the fresh grass beneath the trees before flicking his ears back. He stopped mid-chew and looked up, alert. A wind rustled softly, blowing his mane gently from his neck. Rohan went cautiously back to chewing his grass before stretching with a soft groan. He reached around and scratched his back before turning back around to face the ominous forest. Rohan took a deep breath before trudging back into the cool shade, watching longingly as the soft light faded from his view. Rohan finally picked up the pace until he was galloping along the familiar path, dodging low hanging branches with ease. Suddenly, he skidded to a halt, his eyes flitting wildly, his nostrils flaring. A new scent the loner had never known before touched his nose. 'Others!' He thought, utterly startled. The stallion had never met another kelpie before, let alone a whole herd! Curiosity finally beat out his timidness and he decided to follow. Only for a little while at least...
