Personality:
Amazonia is pretty quick witted with a lithe build and swift movments to boot. She is steathly and persistant; a real hunter. She puts her sticky tongue and stunning saliva to good use when hunting her quarry. By keeping two eyes on her prey and two on look out, she has a great advantage against preditors, or on the other runes during a good game of tag. She is playful most of the time and likes to have a good time. Her favorite game is tag, closely followed by hide-and-seek. Her heart isn't pure gold, but is gold encrusted... so to speak. She's a good rune with bad habits that can't seem to be broken. Ami, as she's commonly called, likes to bury her friends in the sands and leave them there for hours while she chases any insect that passes by. She loves rain and storms due to the fact that she lives in a desert and doesn't get to see much rain.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
Well, I love lizards and the rune dragon species. I also love rocks and stones and such, so basicly she's a comination of three of my favorite things. Her color is a lovely red to boot.

He's rather aggressive and feral, but his fury attacks are mostly just small scratching with his claws. He tends to be mischievous, and will find trouble before it finds him. Even with these characteristics, he is rather hapless and lovable. He likes things that interact witgh him and also enjoys playing with things... especially other Runes. He dislikes life in the slow line and boring things. WIP.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
To me, this guy just screams 'zergling' to me. He looks so innocent and yet he's full of spirit. He's like the present that was waiting to come... and came. I would be honored to have a Rune like this as my virtual pet. Even if he isn't real, I shall love him if he was.
Where will you keep him/her:
My charrie thread, once I make it... there's are perfect spot in it for Ling.

Of course! Which female wouldn't want a guy like Ling?

Ling walked along the fluff on the floor. He was free! He happily hopped along, pouncing on balls and such but falling off. He frowned. Ahead of him was a giant black thing. Ling needed a challenge. This thing was yelling his name. He hopped up to the wooden table and leaped onto the thing. He crashed, tumbling into a corner. A rumbling echoed from somewhere. Ling looked up and saw a white blanket crash down on him. He shook it off, and lcked his lips. What was around tghe next corner of this thing?

Juliath is a fun-loving, energetic rune dragon. She usually is quite entertaining to watch, with her four eyes and blue tongue that's a blur when she sees a tasty bug. She zips through the trees, above lakes, through meadows and even through open windows in order to catch a bug she sets her sights on. When it comes to socializing, she's very friendly. She gets along with almost anybody! When push comes to shove, she can be quite effective with her bites, her wing claws are excellent for latching on to enemies. Through and through, Juliath is very loyal and faithful, quite a sharp mind too, she's definitely a great partner, traveling companion or just a friend.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
I like her colors(especially the tongue) and I thought that it would be a fun rune dragon.

Juliath will cling to your shoulder(not a fun sensation to have sticky claws in your shirt/skin) She also will lick your cheek or finger sometimes when you make her frustrated, let's just say that having no feeling or movement in your finger or cheek is not fun(which you probably guessed)

Cint is a kid at heart. He loves to play around and climb all over his owner and his owner's friends. He loves to play around and show people his eyes which he is so proud of. He often scares new people because his eyes are what he shows them first but his playful behavier soon makes them warm up to him. Hyacintho loves making friends almost as much as he loves bugs.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
I want this rune because his color's just pull me in. His eyes and tongue are my favorite features about him. I really really want him as my first rune!
Where will you keep him/her:
I will absolutely make a character thread and art of him and keep him in my siggy.

July 27, Eldemore Desert, 11:00 am


The morning was calm and quiet. My dog, Dusty, slept at my side in our tent. We were camping in the Eldemore desert. We werent expecting much wildlife out here in this heat, at least not in the day time. So like i was saying we were sleeping when suddenly i felt something climb on my chest. I opened my eyes to see four bright yellow ones staring in all directions. I screamed and the thing screamed and ran behind my back pack. Dusty was on his feet and growling.
The thing slowly came out from it's hiding place. "be quiet Dusty and sit." I said and the mutt obeyed. The bright red creature came out further and i realized it was a rune. i crouched down and held out my hand to let it know that i wouldnt hurt it. He came over and crawled up my arm and stuck out it's bright blue tongue. I laughed, "what a cool color." i said and the rune's face lite up with happyness. it showed me it's four eyes again and nuzzled my face. The rune hung around my camp all day. though Dusty didnt like it that much until it crawled on his back and began eating all the bugs that flew by his face. I didnt know why he didnt run off to find his friend but i guess the rune liked playing with us to much.
When it was time for Dusty and I to head home i started to pack up our tent but the rune kept climbing on it like it was a game. "Hyacintho you goof! I need to leave." i said but he made this face that was almost clown like. he made me laugh so loud that dusty thought someone was coming. I gave the rune the name Hyacintho to describe his blue tongue. He seemed to enjoy that very much. Cant wait till i get home and show my friend the rune i met because it looks like he's staying for good!
