What happened?: When Budgie was little, he got attacked by an older male. The older male thought that Bugie was trying to harm his person he had bonded with. Budgie had to fight back since he didn't want die that way when he was still only young and didn't have a human he had bonded with yet. So he fought back in self defense. But the older male was obviously more experienced than he, so the older one had an advantage over Budgie. The male scratched Budgie in the eye and over his body. He also bit his ears. As the older one bit down on Budgies leg, Budge squealed. The human the older male had bonded with ran out side to see what was happening. Immediately he saw the two Doxes fighting and old his bond that the little one was no threat to them. Straight away the male let go. The human took poor Budgie to the vet, but unfortianly Budgie had to get half his leg amputated. He was also deaf.. Luckily though, all his other scares healed. The vet called him Budgie and put him up for adoption, when all his wound were healed (besides the permanite affects).

Aw, he's really pretty and I think the deafness and lost leg is really interesting and gives him history. I think whoever gets him is very lucky and should treasure him forever! ^^ he's not the right one for me though OAO Good luck everyone!

The lightning made the world explode in yellow light. Thunder roared acroos the land, echoing until it got too low to hear. Budgie sat in the chain-link pen, along with several other Dox. They were all huddled in a bunch, being poured on by rain, chilling them to the bone. Two people in white lab coats arrived at the door, looking down at them. " Are these the ones? " " Yes. The one we're experimenting on is... Budgie. " They opened the door and slipped inside the muddy pen. They cowered as the men stood over them. One grabbed Budgie around the middle with rough hands. The other brought out a needle and jabbed it into his leg. Budgie thrashed around for a few minutes, then fell asleep. When he awoke, he was in the middle of a road surronded by fence. Some humans were talking, then suddenly a very loud, shrill, blast sounded. It suddenly cut off for Budgie, and only Budgie. He could see the human's mouths moving, but no sound emerged. He would never hear a sound again. That blast had ruined part of his life. A car roared around the corner, coming straight for him. He was too tired to move, but yelped a silent yelp as the car hit his front right leg. He blacked out from pain. When he awoke, his foot was missing. He raised his eyes and saw the sign. It said, " Adoption Center For Rescued Animals. "

What happened?: (Going to base some of the story off of the time my Korean grandmother got deaf.) When Budgie was a small Dox Dragon, his family was being attacked by another Dox family. The family had been rivals for years and now they were at war. Afraid, Budgie's family went into hiding in some mountains in order to lower the odds of being defeated. Suddenly, winter arrived and during a blizzard, Budgie was temporarily blinded by snowflakes. Because of this, he fell down a rocky slope and his right fore-leg was severed. His parents were worried and made camp near the place where Budgie fell. His mother was in a way, a doctor and healed what was left of the leg. Later on, Budgie became sick while the family was moving along and collapsed into the deep, white snow. Budgie's mother was unhappy, for she had ran out of the supplies that were needed in order for Budgie to recover. Then, Budgie's father carried Budgie on his back and flew away to find some herbs after the mother told him what to do when he found some. A few days later, Budgie's father found some plants with medicinal value and set Budgie down in order to heal his son. Remembering most of his mate's instructions, he did the steps. But because Budgie's father forgot one of the steps, the medicine destroyed some of the insides of Budgie's ears, causing him to become deaf. When the father brought Budgie back to camp, the mother wept after realizing her son was deaf. The father felt bad but he then taught Budgie signs, so Budgie could communicate even though he was deaf.
