~≈º What is an Irregular Flutter Ferret? º≈~
Flutter ferrets in general are very small. The largest specimens are usually around 12" long. Irregular Flutter Ferrets have the additional designation of being very lithe and slender. Their movement through the air has been described as serpentine, with the body rippling from side to side. They have two sets of diaphanous wings that work in tandem: one set at the shoulders and the other set at the pelvis. In addition, IFFs have tufts of diaphanous "feathers" in strategic places on their bodies to add to surface area and assist in flight.

Glacignis
I chose this because it is a mesh of Glacies and Ignis in Latin (according to google translate) which means Ice Fire. This name is chosen in honor of one of my favorite books, Icefire which is about dragons, polar bears and the Arctic. It's the second in a series. I chose this because the deep blue colour of Her sides and underbelly remind me of the sea from pictures I have seen of icy places. The lighter blue on top makes me think of icebergs, and so I think the Glacignis is suitable, because when the sun shines on ice and snow it looks like it is on fire, IceFire.

Gender:
When I saw this IFF, I immediately thought that it should be female. The purples eyes for one I think look more feminine, and she looks graceful and serene, and much more ladylike than a boy.

Personality:
She is very calm, but when she is riled up her anger is as terrible and unforgiving as the sea. Not many people see this though, because it takes a great deal for her to get angry.
She is sligntly vain, but not many people notice this, and the people who do agree with her. She is strong, but relies on her grace and agility far more often.
She loves flying, and enjoys flying over water. She will dive into the water, and fly out of it with water droplets flying everywhere. This is partly to satisfy her vanity, but she enjoys doing it very much.
She lives in the Arctic, which is why her coloring is like it is. It camouflages her exceedingly well, and a lot of the time, unless she moves you can't see her if she has closed her eyes, and folded her wings behind her.
A Day In The Life Of Glacignis
Glacignis sped through the water, her range of blue colouring rendering her almost invisible in the sea. The sea was icy and cold, but Glacignis barely felt it, so lost was she n the joy of the swim. She flew up out of the water, and water exploded out into a shimmering display. The water droplets fell through the air like little tiny diamonds gravitating towards her, and Glacignis felt a small surge of vanity for she knew that she was far more beautiful than any water droplet.
Diving back into the water, she felt the sudden farmiliar chill that lasted only a second until her body adjusted to the sudden coldness of the water. Her fur as smooth as silk glided through the water, and her translucent wings cast strange shadows in the water.
She dove down, deeper and deeper towards the earth, plunging through the sea. Shy fish darted into hiding as she disturbed them, and popped back out as she passed, looking queryingly at her. She dove deeper, sliding along through a plain of sea plants, waving gently in the current in all manner of colours.
She felt the feeling of belonging, because if anyone belonged here, here where the weeds were as beautiful as the daintiest flower on the earths surface, and the flowers and beauteous plants were as if they had been crafted from the sound of songs, filling anyone's heart with delight to look at.
She looped through a stone whittled full of holes, before speeding back up to the surface, to take the air that she wished she did not need so she could stay down there forever.

Personality:
She's shy at first, but once you get to meet her she's a total spazz. She can have little bursts of hyperness. The only reason she would be rude to another IFF is to see if she can trust them. If they can handle her she knows they're keeper. Once you lose her trust, lets just say you won't get it back, she's quite courageous and flirty but she's a real sweetheart on the inside.


A Day of Misoras' life
As I woke up, I yawned and stood up, after I shook my fur I stretched out and walked out to see the rest of her brood. There were so many to name she felt bad as one approached her and she couldn't remember her name.
"Hello Misora!" He said cheerfully.
"Hello!" Misora said happily.
"Whatcha upto?" He asked tilting his head.
"Just goin for a flight." I said awkwardly.
"Ohh. Well have fun!" He said and I nodded before taking off into the air, I laced through the air and and twisted around. I flew threw the air and would change direction in an instant.

As the sun started to go down, I realized how tired I was so I landed back by my brood and yawned, I knew I hadn't eaten but I'd flown off my appetite. All I wanted was sleep, so I went to my spot and curled up before falling into a deep sleep.



That's the worst story I've ever written I seem to lost my imagination >~< Sorry for that^ xl.
