Zader Name: Nanuka
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Personality: Quiet and independent, something that he has acquired over the years considering he is considered a threat to any head male even with his passive nature. Even with this, he is protective of anything close to him, showing he cares in the smallest yet noticeable ways. He is sweet and caring, though his colors intimidate and cause him to seem like he is hard and selfish.
art and/or write a short story:
Nanuka padded along silently, his bright red eyes searching the darkness for any sign of movement as he made his way though the hushed forest. His tails were low as he pricked his ears, hearing a rustle amongst the brush to this right, his head turning and keen nose wiggling to catch a scent. Upon seeing nothing, he began to slowly walk away, keeping his feet on a smooth straight path as he avoided sticks and dead leaves that gathered along the floor of the forest.
He turned his head upwards as he padded along, his eyes reflecting the stars that broke through the thick canopy high above him, a soft sigh escaping his nostrils. He looked forward once more, his thoughts far from where he was as he swished his tails along the ground softly, making some form of noise as he wished he had company along with him. His thoughts were absent and his mind went blank as sadness washed over him.
In his state of distraction, a sudden snap and a flurry of leaves sent him to the floor of the forest with a soft yelp, a pain shooting though his entire body. He picked up his head and began to stand only to have his rear leg stubbornly stay where it was, the pain intensifying. He whimpered quietly and turned to look at the origin of his pain, the steel jaws of a bear trap clinging tightly to his leg, the blood quickly staining his white fur on his leg.
After many hours of struggle and pain, he finally released himself from the trap, limping quickly away, ever-fearing another trap hidden under the leaves as he traveled away. He began to weaken, the blood loss taking a tole on his body as the pain became unbearable. He lifted his head and caught a glimpse of a glimmer of light just ahead of him, relief washing over him. He quickened his pace and slowed only when he reached the door of a building, collapsing where he stood, blacking out.
