He dislikes modern things, and often gets in a huff when they are used. He also dislikes when it's very sunny out; he prefers it overcast or foggy. His favorite color is green, second to gold, but he dislikes more violent colors, like red or black.

Another rune once asked if his marking was a Celtic knot. He replied that he was sure it was.
The other rune responded with, " Do you think it's like the knot no one could unravel?"
And Sidhe said, "I sincerely hope not. I would hate getting my wing cut simply because my marking was too hard to untie!"

I see her more as a female.

Female, although one could say I can act like a male at times.

Personality:
To put it in one, simple word: Complex. She has a facade, her inner personality, and then her true, to the core, inner personality.

Isleen is a normally quiet rune. She never wastes her words, and usually keeps to herself. Rarely will she start a conversation. She is more of a listener, and a very good listener at that. However, when it comes to storytelling, even without words (like if she is telling a story to a human), she is one of the best storytellers in Eldamore, and she tells these stories with a mysterious aura that no one can really explain. Even if she’s only dancing and singing around with half-transparent spirit-like figures, one can just know what she’s trying to convey in her storytelling endeavors.
She seems to be the quite wise and knowledgeable about the carvings and spirits that surround her. Some of these spirits, she has in her little green orbs. (Think of it kind of like Pokémon: she can release them and then withdraw them at will, except they are only used to tell stories and/or keep her company.) She constantly interacts with these spirits, and seems to gain wisdom at certain times. She seems to have the most connection with the pictish beast spirit. Why, no one knows… However, she’s also found to be quite curious, in the quiet, warm sense. Not the jumpy “Oh! What’s that?!” but more of an inquiring gaze. Even though she knows much, she still wants to learn more. Yet again, for what purposes…
She is also very ancient, as ancient as the carvings on the stone from ages ago. She has seen many beasts: kelpies, faeries, Nessie…and has seen many fall to their doom and demise. Often times, she’s offered to save them. Some agree; some do not. Either way, no matter which way you look at it, they are still doomed to live one way or to live the other way. Also, as anyone would say if one is ancient, she is wise, as already explained. She seems to know about the world, she has lived through much, yes.
But she is cunning and will do anything to restore peace to her territory and her own safety. Although wonderful and graceful she may be on the outside, on the inside, she is not as perfect or beautiful as you might think. She’s done quite a few things that one would consider “evil” in general standards. However, she lives by her standards, and doesn’t care anyway, whether she’s done evil or not. As long as it’s in her book of tolerable things, then she is fine. She’s, in a sense, the old lady who doesn’t give a crap about what she does. She’s still got a spring in her step (not lively these days though), and will not hesitate to burst into her “crazy ol’ rune tricks” again.
However, I think Isleen’s just broken. She’s done many things she considers “tolerable” in her book, but she knows she would have done something else if there was another way. She’s lived for a long, long time, and guilt doesn’t leave her quite easily. She’s lived with many burdens, and she’s slowly being pressured to become harder, to become crankier and…like a “crazy ol’ grandma rune” she’s teetering on the edge of. But she’s got a bit of warrior in her. Subtle, but still there; she always has. And it is slowly wilting.
Maybe…she just needs a story.

Oh, they all tell me I am so quiet, so graceful, so serene they say. They say I tell the most mysterious and fascinating tales of times long ago. I do tell the most fascinating stories, but everything else they know about me? They are wrong.
They think I can go on being beautiful and graceful? I think I lost my grace decades ago. How many more years can I hold it now? Ten, twenty? And then for what? My demise. All this living, for my inevitable demise. I have met the dullahan and survived. I have seen Nessie with my own eyes and saw fairies exchanging their changelings with human children. I have seen kelpies spirit away men to their deaths. For what reason am I still here? For what? …
Others tell me, when they see what I’ve done, that I am mad, that I am evil. Oh, am I? Or do you just don’t understand? Because I think you do not understand.
I have had enough of you. Go.

Why do you wish to have him/her:

At first, I thought I won’t go for any of these Celtic runes because I didn’t know too much about Celtic mythology or cultures. So, even though I really loved all the runes for their design, I decided not to go for any of them. I love every rune for their design, but I decided that I’d go for a rune that I can click with. That I actually click with. So, I thought the next best thing would be to watch the competition. As I went back and forth between the Celtic wolf rune and Pictish rune, I found myself going to the Pictish rune more and more. Then, it started growing on me. The dark brown, the grey, the intricate Celtic knot… And I figured, I should draw her, even if I don’t enter. So I did, and I drew her. As I drew her though, she became more precious to me, and she even motivated me to shade my piece of her. (I rarely shade.) The more I drew her, the closer she became, and the more she seemed to click with me. Finally, I had to go search up what the pictish beast was, what kind of Celtic myths there were, what their culture was. It became really, really interesting, looking at all these strange and intricate Celtic knots and reading the myths. And I finally decided (with a lot of encouragement from other Rune Lovers) that I should go for her. You could say that she led me to a new realm of stories and interest. And I’m actually enjoying myself, writing up a form for her. I’m usually wracked with nervousness when I write up these things, but for her, I feel like I can just relax, and just write whatever I believe is fit.
I have to admit though, I was really intimidated by Silverhart, Bast, and everyone who is going for this rune. And, honestly, I still am, as I am typing this. But I guess I’ve learned that I should at least try, since you never know. You’ve gotta have some sliver of hope.

Where will you keep him/her:

She will be featured in my signature for quite some time, and she’ll be in my character thread that I revamped a lot. She’ll be flooded with art (hopefully) and will be everywhere I can put her. She won’t be left to die in the corner of my character thread and gallery. As I move on into the hectic world of school in a week or so, I might not be able to give her the attention she needs. However, I will try to give it my best shot to give her the respect she needs.
And I will keep her in my heart, no matter who s/he goes to. I wish her happiness, even though one could say she’s just a bunch of pixels. Well, sir, she’s a very meaningful, beautiful, wonderful bundle of pixels.

Any Quirks:
Often times, she will take the spirits of a creature, human, anything nearing its death, and place it in one of her orbs (actually a bubble in terms of its traits). Think of it as Pokémon, as I have explained above (but once again here): The spirit is captured in her orb. Once it does, Isleen can take the spirit out and back in at will. The orb is the Pokéball, and the spirit is the Pokémon. They live on inside the orbs, but they live a cursed life, as their freedom is strictly controlled.

Often, on request, she will place the orb in a firefly, where the spirit will reside, traveling the globe. However, as soon as Isleen calls, the firefly must come back to her.

~ Once upon a time, there were creatures, but not just any creatures. Creatures from long ago, that are now only found in myths and legends. The kelpie, the fairies, the Dullahan, Nessie... They were all there, the days where the rocks were bare. And there was a wee, little rune in the midst of these towering stones, sleeping peacefully.
One day, a tribe of people arrived in her homelands, looking for a place to stay.

A variant of Eoghan, it means "young warrioress".

Personality:
Eoghania's personality is like an onion without the stink, tears, and icky taste. Someone who might not know her well might call her quiet or shy. She is constantly thinking and stuck in her own head. Time and time again you'll find her staring into space thinking. She keeps to herself and never goes up to someone new by herself. Preferring to listen, Eoghania doesn't speak much and when she does she usually doesn't get far before getting interrupted. At times when she does want to say something she usually never gets a word out because she doesn't want to talk over others. Even though she doesn't talk much, when she does she usually has a lot to say. When she meets someone she automatically observes and judges their character. She prefers not to get involved in drama and thus so generally stays away from dramatic people or trouble makers.

Eoghania has a huge imagination. She could make up a whole story in minutes. Despite her imagination she doesn't act very childish. She tends not to show much emotion, specifically in her face. Most think half the time she's either scowling or frowning when she's not making any facial expression. So most just leave her alone. She uses that to get what she wants done. She loves to read and she she spends her alone time to do that. She spends a lot of time alone reading. Because of that it can seem like she only likes to spend time by herself but she likes spending time with friends too. But if she spends too much time alone she gets bored. So she comes out of her head every once in a while to spend time with friends.

The part of Eoghania most people don't know isn't shown much. Even though she doesn't like drama, if she somehow gets involved in it, she isn't afraid to end it. She'll protect friends and family at all times and she'll put you in your place if she has to. She hates arguments and if she can't stop one she just wants to walk away from it. She likes to spend time outdoors even though you can't tell from her bookwormy-nish. She'd spend any day outside having fun instead of reading her books. She prefers nighttime when it's calm over daytime though.

Why do you wish to have him/her:
I love her design and i love how the colors aren't too bold or clashy. (I'm sorry, I suck at elaborating and I really do want this rune but I can't really elaborate on why. :[)

Where will you keep him/her:
I will keep her in a character thread and show her off in my siggie.

More than likely as long as I give my consent.

Any Quirks:
Eoghania hogs any book she's reading until she's done with it, even if she's already read it. She's also afraid of peanuts. No one knows why.
