Name:
Kareha, fallen leaves in Japanese. He reminds me of autumn, when brown leaves are all over, but some greenery remains to shine through.
Age:
3, just matured, but still acts very cubish at times
Gender:
male
Personality:
He is very cheeky, always trying to stir up trouble. From a sly wink, to a suggestive comment, he will drive those around him to distraction. A jokester, he loves to play pranks, setting people up for harmless tricks. Always up for a laugh, he will try anything for the first time, may not like it, but will try it anyway. He loves any kind of game, from scrabble to tag. Managing to make friends with everyone, he is never lonely, always has someone to talk to, wether they are Zader, human or squirrel.
Art(optional): Sorry bout sloppiness, ran out of time, and had to rush to colour it in, so colours are not quite right. Will fix later. Turned out smaller than i expected too... Looked bigger on my computer. Oh, and if i win, can I have colour codes please? Found it hard to get colours anywhere near right. Would have Mandes better with more time, might edit, see if I can finish before judging
Better attempt... Might just stick to oekaki

History/Your creations:Born into a litter of 2, only Kareha survived more than the first few vital months. His father remained to help, as Kareha's mother unfortunatley gave birth in the woods, close to humans. They were then unable to travel further than the cave on the tree line, where she gave birth, due to the fragile nature of newborn cubs. This caused many problems, but eventually, the mistrust faded, allowing the young Kareha to play with the human children.
When he grew older, however, the parents of the children grew wary, as he was one that grew to the size closer resembling a snow leopard than a large house cat. Since he was reaching maturity, Kareha decided to forget the humans, and set off on his own, to explore the world. The large world, where Zaders were feared.... Not a place you would want to explore on your own, if you were a Zader, but luckily, as he finds it easy to make friends, he was not on his own.
He had a companion. A squirrel. Fuzzy, red, and small, with a long fluffy tail. Known as Chip, this squirrel was all set up to accompany him on the search for a new home of his own, as male Zaders do not stay with their mother for long. Chip is very excitable, prone to running randomly in circles, or up and down Kareha's back. The last trait mildly irritated the calm natured Zader, but not enough to cause an argument between two good friends.Prancing along the forest floor, and crunching the fallen leaves underfoot, the young Zader was having a great time. It was only his second autumn, but this year, he was old enough to enjoy it. He had just discovered the leaves crunched when walked on, and so was trying to stand on all the fallen leaves in the forest.
Spotting a big bunch of leaves, all piled up at the base of a tree, he crouched down, ready to pounce.
"I wouldn't do that if I was you". Came a voice from the tree.
"Trees can TALK!!!!!! Exclaimed the young Zader, forgetting all about the leaves in his excitement.
"Dont be silly, silly, it's not the tree talking." with that, the brave voice jumped out of the tree, landing in front of a much larger foe. "Your much bigger than you looked from up there..." the small squirrel muttered, backing away slowly, until his back met the tree trunk.
"want to play a game?" the happy young Zader asked, already over the shock of a talking tree.
"you don't want to eat me?!?!"
"nope, just ate a deer, I'm all stuffed. Thanks for offering though." misunderstood the young Zader.Slowly wandering through the forest, two friends suddenly stopped in surprise.
Looking at them, it was unbelievable they were friends. The small, red squirrel should have been pretty for the tall, mighty Zader, but somehow, against all odds, a strong friendship formed.the tiny squirrel was at this moment, crouched on the Zaders large head, hiding between his ears. It was not practical for the squirrel to walk on the ground, as they found out the hard way. Predators were always looking for an easy meal, such as a helpless squirrel. The squirrel also found it hard to keep up with the Zaders longer strides. After two near misses on being someone else's dinner, it was decided the squirrel would ride on the Zader, where noone would dare touch him.
At this minute in time, the duo were stood still, frozen, staring at a new threat, a threat so great, even the Zader was sacred. The new threat was crouched down threateningly, staring the large Zader in the eye in challenge. With no natural weapons, such as claws, teeth or venom, this threat should just be considered prey, weak prey, due to no horns or hooves to damage the predator. Unfortunatley, this enemy had managed to harm many Zaders, pushing them to extinction.
This enemy, was man.
