"The Story of the Rune of Sands"

By: Jendalie

"This little Rune Dragon was discovered during a short side trip through the desert region of Eldamore. It's coloring blends in so well with it's surrounding I almost sat on the poor thing! These types are common in dry locations and they are highly sought after traveling companions for their ability to locate hidden water reserves. They are fast burrowers and can slid on top of the sand as a fish moves through water. They can be found 'surfing' high dunes and love to play in sand storms. They enjoy the company of people."

Fun Fact: The Desert Rune, if in a good mood, will start to bob it head and hop when they hear music.

Congratulations MadPeace!

Owner Name:
~Willow
Name:
Bukit Pasir
Meaning:
"sand dune"
Nickname:
Bukit
Gender:
female
Personality:
Bukit is a rather friendly little rune, despite her foul temper. She likes play hide-and-seek in the fun of the golden sand and hot sun. Butik also likes to play tag with her friends. She doesn't hate much and loves life. She has warm smile, though no one notices through her tough looking exterior. She's nothing more than a teddy bear of a Rune, unless she's in a mood, than you might wanna stear clear of her. Butik is funny and sweet, she is also a great friend. She is extreamly loyal, but also very impatent and short tempered.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
I saw the Rune and imediatly fell in love with the cute looking dragon. I adore the natural colors and the even mix of them. Where most would probably despise the looks, I found it absolutly adorable!
Where will you keep him/her:
Charrie thread, a thread of her own, and I'mma make a plushie of her!
Would you like to breed him/her in the feature:
yes, but I will be super picky.
Any Quirks:
She enjoys hoarding rocks.
Other:
(Writing a small story or showing artwork may give you a better chance!)

Art:
Thanks maluruloki :)
Smile

Story:
I had been traveling for months on end with only my limited supply of food and water to get me by. The hot desert sun was scorching my face and shoulders, and I was getting kinda thirsty. I reached for my water bottle, which was strapped to my back pack, and it wasn't there! I took my pack off and looed to see if I had misplaced it and noticed the cap and a trail of water going the opposit directn of me, so I followed. As the trail thined, I noticed disturbences in the sand, and figured I was getting close.

The sun and lack of water made me a bit woozy and slightly delerious. I tripped over a rock and face-planted the sand, and it was no pillow I tell you. It hurt, but I manged to blink back the tears and sit up to survey where I was and realized I lost and far away from my pack. I sighed and shakily got to my feet, but was quickly knocked back to the ground by something diving down on me from above. I look up to see a cute, but toothy, Rune Dragon standing infront of me with my crumpled, empty water bottle in her jaws.

"Hi there lil' gal." I said happily, holding out my arm to see if she would like a ride. And to my surprize, she lept on my arm and climbed up to my shoulder and nuzzled my cheek with her fury little head.

We, together, continued our trek through the desert. Weeks had passed since I last had any water, and I was now dehidrated.

"Know where any water is Butik?" I had named her Butik Pasir, which ment "sand dune" due to where she lived.

She nodded and flapped down from my shoulder and started to dig just under my feet and soon a pool of water was at my feet.

"Thank you Butik." I smiled and bent down to drink with Butik sitting comfortably on my shoulder. And thanks to Butik Pasir, we made it through that desert alive, and I had a new friend.

Re: Desert Rune

Postby .vixen » Sat Jul 14, 2012 2:13 am

Image
Owner Name:
MadPeace
Name:
Jangwa
Gender:
Male
Personality:
Jangwa can be, at first, intimidating. However, when he knows you he will be very kind and dance for you! A good peace offering would of course be music. This little fellah is addicted to it! Whenever angered, Jangwa can be calmed down with music, anger would slowly melt away into dancing and crooning at the beat of the tune. When music isn't provided, this rune will loose his cool and have a temper-tantrum. It's a good thing he isn't angered easily. Jangwa will simply sit on ones shoulder contently while a journey is in place. Surprising enough, he is a very patient creature. Once on the road he'll stick to your side or be out in a sandstorm playing and dancing around. He is much like a bird and taps, bobs his head, hops and even sings! Though he can never seem to get out words, he can get the pitches down fine and sing them till his heart is content. Because he loves the company of humans, he is great with others, although when he feels a threatening tone, he will protect you until the ends on the earth.

Sum it up!
His main characteristics and explanations:

Determined
He will do whatever he can to ensure your safety and health. Once attached, he stays loyal and true to the person. He will never give up on a fight and will always do his best to please you.

Loyal
He will always stay with his owner, never will he betray them or leave their side. He will do his best to obey them and honor them where ever their journeys take them. Together is always better in his mind.

Funny
Jangwa always loves to make people laugh. Most of the time he dances or sings and that generally does the trick. Other than that, he will tickle them with his long and fluffy tail until they beg for mercy.

Protective
An enemy approaching? This special rune will gladly take the lead and do his best to take them down, even if he only gets them tired, that leaves you the chance to take them out completely.

Loving/Caring
Upset and need a hug? Well you've got your adorable rune to help you, he will try to cheer you up by doing anything! Sometimes it is just a hug, other times it is a dance or a slow serenade. Any way he tries, you will feel better after being with him. Even if your injured, this rune will have your back, clean your wound to the best of his abilities and try and make it feel better.

Image

Why do you wish to have him/her:
I think the question should be more, Why wouldn't you want him/her Cause that is what I think of when I see this amazing rune. To me, this rune and I could go on some fantastic adventures. But lets get to the point, honestly, when I saw this rune and read about him, it made me think of myself. I love the warm weather and sand. I generally blend in and I love music! I have been looking for a rune for a while now, none really appealed to my taste. This just seemed like a match made in heaven. When I opened this page and saw that no one had posted forms yet, I was filled with mixed emotions, Its sad they don't like them and Holy Chiz nuts! I love him! Why wouldn't they!. I quickly sent a picture to my cousin to tell of how adorable he is and how I was in love. This rune would be perfect for me and I don't want to waste the opportunity to get him forever. I assure you that he would be in good hands. I would take him on great adventures, tell stories of our legacies, play music for him, let him play freely and keep a journal on CS of where we are and what we find there. I might even have to bump into my cousin She-Hound and her Rune, Cemerlang. I'm sure Jangwa and Cemerlang would be great friends and may even take journeys together.
Where will you keep him/her:
Everywhere! Literally, in my signature, probably in a forum, in my stories. She-Hound says she will make art of him. I assure you that he will be a very well known rune on CS. I will make sure all my friends know of him. I will most likely even create art of him with other Rune dragons that we come across! Most will be of him and Cemerlang, but maybe there will be other friendlies out there!
Having this rune for my first would be amazing!

Would you like to breed him/her in the feature:
Possibly :3
Any Quirks:
Jangwa, and his love of music, cause him to do dances, either spontaneously or when he hears music. Also, while outside in storms or just out in the sand, he might dig for rocks. He has an odd liking for rocks, mostly red ones. He generally brings them somewhere else and then buries them where ever the journey goes. It must be some thought that when he takes them somewhere, he is leaving a trail for on the way home. It is also weird that when you are on your way home, he finds them again as easily as he buried them! There are rocks that he keeps however, if he finds a white rock shaped like an egg, he will take it with him and when he gets enough, he builds things with them, or tries anyway.
Other:
It was a warm morning, Our caravan had stopped for that night near some rocks for protection. A sand storm had almost blown us away and most of the men were now brushing the sand from their hair and clothes. Looking out the back of our wagon, I saw my sand rune Jangwa crawled into our wagon and shake his fur, " Have a nice night?" I asked him. He answered me with a nice croon and crawled over to me. He seemed to be limping and so I bent down, lifted his fur and discovered that he had a small rock clenched in his right talon. Slowly, I pried it from his grasp and examined the white rock " Nice one! I take it you want to add it to the collection?" Of course he did! He confirmed this by a nod of the head. I picked up the burlap sack next to me and slowly let the rock tumble into it along with the other 5 we had collected. I glanced over as I felt tiny claws grabbing onto my cloak, Jangwa pulled himself onto my shoulder and inside my hood which I raised a moment later, "Ready?" I asked before pulling a piece of cloth over my nose and mouth to protect them from the sand and dust that still lingered in the air. Reaching down, I grabbed the reins of my trusty stead, Jasiri. Jasiri is a mountain pony I bought at a market on my way through the mountains. I equipped him with a mesh armor that would protect him from the sand and hot days. He was a powerful horse and got along well with Jangwa. As slow as our caravan is, we made good progress that day and reached the next market where I was able to trade for a leather journal. It was then that I decided I should write down the adventures Jangwa and I took, so all could read someday.

When we started on the road again, a flute player sat on the side of the road, playing a snake charming tune. Of course it didn't charm my Rune. However, it did make him dance for the period of time while we passed the player. I laughed when Jangwa bobbed his head and jumped around our wagon before returning to my shoulder. The dust died down in the afternoon and the road was easier to see. Peering ahead of us I saw a woman and her child on the side of the road. Thinking that they needed help, I slowed to stop and hopped off. The woman's clothes were tattered as were her babes. She seemed to be beaten and skinny, far too skinny for a full grown woman. Looking closer I saw that sand had embedded itself into her hair, nails and clothes. The next moment I jumped when her almost white blue eyes flashed open and peered up at me. Her gaze drifted to Jangwa whom was now rolling in the sand happily. " Jangwa! That will be so hard to wash out of your fur!" I scowled. He seemed to glower back in disappointment and climbed back up onto my shoulder after shaking his fur off. Next, I knelt to the ground in front of woman and her babe which I realized now was dead and probably had been dead for months now. I swallowed hard and looked at the woman " do you need help?" I asked her, the woman's eyes met mine, they were worn and tired, circles of darkness were surrounding them and her lashes seemed to be coated in sand. Her voice came out in a raspy tone " A rune dragon... " she marveled. I nodded and put Jangwa onto my hand " yes, this is Jangwa. His name means 'desert' in Swahili." I told her. She responded with a simple nod. " I had one once" she began " he was taken from me by a caravan." she glared up at me " now... I die without him. He was the only thing I had. Now, there is nothing worth living for." she said coldly. Jangwa seemed to withdrawal in sadness and climbed into my cloak. Before I could give the woman food, she died. I didn't think it would have been kind to leave her and her cold babe there and so, I pulled out a shovel and dug a sand tomb for her. Once buried, Jangwa sacrificed one of his precious pearl rocks and set it on top. After speaking a prayer, we climbed back into our wagon and began again. A spark of mourning came to me that night and as I sat in the back, I pulled out my leather journal, lit a candle and grabbed a pen and ink well. Jangwa curled up and closed his amber eyes as I wrote.

Jangwa and I encountered a woman and her babe today. At the end they both perished and were buried. I can't seem to get her words out of my mind, now there is nothing worth living for. I hadn't thought how much I cared for my rune until now when the woman seemed to want to die because her precious rune was taken from her. Was she mad? Or did she truly miss her long lost rune? Regardless, Jangwa seemed to make her remember her beloved and miss him once more. Perhaps the memory was too hard to bare and her body could no longer take the torture. Nevertheless, I will never forget this woman who taught me, without knowing it, to protect and cherish my rune where ever I am. He is everything to me and I will now put my life before his. I will never let harm come to him.

The next morning we reached the home of my cousin and her rune, Cemerlang, the gypsy rune. I could tell that Jangwa was excited to see Cemerlang when he jumped from my shoulder to meet him. After hugging my cousin, we went inside and she was gracious to let me change my sand covered clothing. I spoke to her about my journey and finding the woman on the side of the road. Before I could get my journal out, Jangwa jumped onto my lap after playing with Cemerlang. I could tell they had shared their possessions from the miscellaneous pearl rocks, glass shards, red rocks and silver pieces. I slowly stroked his fur until his eyes closed and he drifted off. While stroking I felt an odd object and reached into his fur, pulling out a key that must have snagged onto his fur when playing. I handed it to She-Hound who put it back into Cemerlang's pile. The night was cool and I walked out, laying on the dew covered grass, starring at the stars and moon. I thought about what future journey's would be like and how they would effect me. Surely this woman did just that. I gave out a soft sigh and glanced up at the stars once more before walking inside and falling asleep.

The next morning I found myself smelling something horrid. Soon I discovered that it was in fact, my rune. I picked him up and took him to the sink. Once his feet hit the water he tried to climb out. It took a little bit of restraining, but finally I was able to clean the sand from his fur. When he tried to shake his fur dry, it puffed, and stuck straight out from his body. After a quick laugh, I combed his fur down and turned. I found myself looking at my cousin packing a pouch of food and clothing.
"I'm ready for an adventure" she said as she set her rune on her shoulder. I knew today was going to be fun, I pulled on my cloak and looked at Jangwa as he perched on my shoulder. I smirked at my cousin.
" Where to, captain?" I grin.

The lullaby of night
The whispers of the wind
Help you sleep tight
through the storm that we're in
Sleep little Rune
close your eyes tight
Dream of tomorrow
and the sun rise.
Lay down your head
and sleep well tonight.
The stars dance above
waiting for morning light
Sleep little Rune,
I'll hold you tonight.
Wait for tomorrow
when the sun will rise.

Owner Name: Rani4268
(Your Username goes here)
Name: Sakyū or 砂丘 (means sand dune in japanese)
(Dragon's Name goes here)
Gender: Male
(Male or Female?)
Personality: Very strong yet cautious, he rarely ever trusts anyone. He is also very energetic when it comes to storms. His favorite activity is 'swimming' through sand dunes and storms. He is drawn automaticly to the cat's litter box though.
(What is the dragon's personality like?)
Why do you wish to have him/her: He looks so handsome and regal! Plus he would be my first rune dragon.
(State what drew you to the dragon or why you would want it.)
Where will you keep him/her:On my diviant art account as my avatar!
(Will you keep it in your sig, character thread, etc...)
Would you like to breed him/her in the feature: Yes, definatly! I'll be super picky though! ;)
(This is just general info for me to use. State if you would like to breed it later on or not)
Any Quirks: He loves litter boxes for some reason, he has a sand box in the back.
(Quirks are funny habits or odd things the dragon may do.)
Other: 'As I walked through the endless sand, I felt like I was being followed. I couldn't tell why I fet this, or what could've been following me. "It's strating to get dark, I should find some shelter." I said to myself, not wanting to get killed at night.
By the time the sun had set, I knew I was in trouble. I hurried to the top of the nearest sand dune and looked around. All I could see was sand, cactai, and a few small animals that where too small to eat. I'm gonna die out here. I thought. "I need help!" I screamed, although no one could hear me. I collapsed, I couldn't cry due to dehidration. I was going to die here. There was no hope for me.
As I lay on the sandy ground, I hear somthing approch. I look around and see a dog like creature sitting there looking at me. He held a canteen full of water and gave me a drink. I had no idea what the creature was that helped me, but I was still gratful tward the small creature. "What are you?" I asked it. There was no responce, but I knew he didn't want to be alone. He guided me out of the desert into sivilisation, and wouldn't leave my side even after I was safe. I decided to name him Sakyu, after the sand dunes that had trapped me for so long. He was my savior and I was forever gratful.'
(Writing a small story or showing artwork may give you a better chance!)

Thank you for considering and have a very colourful day! ;)

Image
Owner Name:
~Bast~
Name:
Malachai
Gender:
Male

Image

Personality:
Malachai has an intelligent and funny personality. He is outgoing and friendly to everyone, and takes a special delight in making people laugh. He often pops out of his tunnel systems unexpected with a shiny rock or a strange shaped branch as a present. Even more special are the small figurines he shapes and hardens with his heat. His constant happiness lightens everyone around hims mood and he can make even bad situations brighter with his upbeat chirps and yips. When shown new tricks and techniques, Malachai picks them up quickly and masters them through a bit of practice. Like a border collie, he needs constant stimulation and new things to learn to be happy. As a way to keep him occupied, Malachai has a few jobs when the group is traveling. He is expected to find clean water sources, pick up bits and pieces of helpful things like berries or wire he finds, and occasionally scout ahead for good camp sites. When at home, he usually spends time watching for new people from his many hiding spots, entertaining Bast and Aludra, or making the small sculptures that he gives to friends or sells at market. Anyone who can play good music can expect to see him dance, and can expect several of his art pieces in appreciation for their skill.

Image

Why do you wish to have him/her:
The colors were my first attraction. I put a lot of emphasis on the way colors look together, and I loved the way his blended and swirled. After I clicked on him and read his story, it made complete sense to have him blend in to his surroundings. I love his quirky little personality too ^^ I'm a horrible dancer myself, but I've always admired people who can dance well themselves. *coughDancingWiththeStars*cough* Because I'm a horrible dancer, I have to really know someone well before I'll dance (embarrass myself) with them. I think Malachai would be a good dance partner, and he can laugh at me all he wants. I also love his tail. Fluffy/long/flowy tails are just love. I own a border collie in RL with a long fluffy tail, so everytime I see an adoptable with one it makes me smile and think of her. And, probably most importantly, Malachai looks fun to draw. I spend most of my free time drawing my adopted characters, so that's a big something I look for. I know his blended colors and shiny horn-bands are going to be fun to draw. So thanks for the chance to adopt him =)
Where will you keep him/her:
My characters all rotate through my siggy, and each one has a spot on my character thread. (found here) I'm also considering making a separate thread for my rune dragons, so if that happens, he will live there as well. And of course, he will be in my artwork <3

Image

Would you like to breed him/her in the feature:
I most likely would, if I found a great match for him.

Image

Any Quirks:
Besides his dancing, Malachai also likes burrowing small tunnel systems through any camp sites. Under tents, from here to there, and around the fire. So if you don't see him at first... he can probably see you.
I also think it's a bit quirky that he and Aludra are such great friends despite their almost opposite talents. Aludra likes giving him rides on her shoulder when she is in human form. Sometimes, Malachai gives her small figures shaped out of mud he has baked and hardened, another one of his quirks.

Image

Other:
The first time Jendalie introduced the desert rune to Alurda and me, I could feel her misgivings. I had none myself, and was quite taken by the quirky rune with the long tail and pretty colors. As a girl who grew up in the south hunting, I also recognized his useful talents- finding water and blending in- and I liked how he bobbed his head when I sang. Aludra however was a little distant from most runes in general, although she did seem to have a fondness for Wildflower runes we occasionally saw, and she eyed the little desert rune with a critical eye. I think it was his shiny gold horn-hoops that finally counted in his favor... Aludra loved shiny, and she loved gold. Perhaps because gold never dulls in the same way the Spring shines brilliant every year? In any case, I felt the moment she decided to give the rune a chance. She lowered her head and said
"Hello young desert rune."
With a small yip, the rune burrowed into the sand at our feet. I felt the disapointment from Aludra as she assumed he was scared of her size and power. But I had a niggling feeling that wasn't why the rune had left. Just as I turned back to Jendalie to apologize for scaring her newest rune-finding away, another chirp caught everyone's attention. The little desert rune sat at Aludra's feet again, this time holding a small figurine of her, still hot and glowing from his hasty baking. Aludra shifted into her human form and knelt down by him.
"What's this little rune?" She asked taking it carefully.
A miniature sculpture of her dragon form sat in her palm. She looked back and forth from it to the rune.
"Oh it's perfect!" she exclaimed in Spring's changable mood.
She scooped him up and straightened to her full height again, humming with happiness. As the rune began to bob his head and sway in her arms I looked back at Jendalie...
"I think we are all quite taken with him!"

Dutto
Gender:
Male
Personality:
Dutto is a brave little fellow. He tends spending most of his time with fewer people then most runes.
WIP

Why do you wish to have him/her:
This dragon drew me forward with it's brave and wonderful feeling when you looked at him, it made me think for a split second and I realized this was another one of my dream dragons. I'm slightly thinking I wont get much of a chance for this Rune, but I'm sure gonna try. Once again I just love your work Jen, it's getting better every time. ^^ This Rune reminds me of my old cat Nemo who passed away.
Where will you keep him/her:
I'm still working on the Rune page thing where I'll keep my Runes, but that will have to be finished in the future. I will be making plenty of art for him since he is so special, and might make art of him in my signature one day. I'm still thinking of what to do with him, but I'll favor him as much as Zeuis.
Would you like to breed him/her in the feature:
I'd like to yes ^^
Any Quirks:
* Dutto can sometimes dig many holes outside and mess around in mud for that is the closet things he has other then deserts.

Other:
Image
I was on a long trip through the desert, this time I didn't have Zeuis along side me for I knew he'd have a hard time. It was steaming hot out here and I took many breaks. I finally came across a small rock and sat down, it was already starting to get dark after my long traveling. I took off my pack behind my back and took out the folded up tent. I grabbed the long sticks inside the small flaps and slowly builded my tent.
Once my tent was built I stepped inside dragging my pack in with me. I then closed the tent. I could still feel the heat rays from the ground and sun but I knew it would cool down once it went completely dark.
I opened up my pack again looking around for my small cooler that held a bit of food, I didn't realize my food had been so low.
I quickly grabbed into it and grabbed an apple, the apple was fairly cool about the heat of an apple sitting in a bowl in the kitchen, so it seemed alright. I took a small bite of my apple when I heard a thump outside my tent.
I dropped my apple instantly into the cooler and came over opening the tent. Outside I saw a little rune dancing around on the sand uncontrollably, at first I mistaken the Rune for a rock covered in sand but then I realized it was moving.
I ran over in a hurry and picked it up. I carefully took it inside the tent, closing the tent behind me. I set the Rune down petting it's soft fur. In a small reply it made a purring kind of rumble in it's chest. I smiled and set up a small bed for it with a few blankets. The run liked blankets I could tell since it instantly curled up flipping a few over himself and curling up. I smiled then took out my sleeping bag and set it up. I looked out the tent window on the side with a webbing to keep bugs out. I saw the moon was beginning to shine and a few small stars were sparkling.
I climbed into my sleeping bag quickly realizing the heat was dyeing down. I began thinking about how Zeuis was doing alone. I then started thinking about the Rune, what would happen when I went back home? What would the Rune do? I was still a few ay from leaving so I decided not to worry about it till the last day.
Some might have been wondering why I was traveling in the desert when I told my friends. Well I was just visiting one place that seemed much like the place I lived in, in my past, so I thought it would be nice.
I soon fell asleep next to the Desert Rune. I curled up, sleeping peacefully.

I woke up in the morning by the instant heat and felt a softness on my chest, I looked down and saw the Desert Rune curled up next to me. I petted it getting up stretching my sleeping bag. I lifted myself to my feet and reached into the cooler finding the apple I took a bite out of. I came over back to the rune and nudged it awake.
The Rune let out a small yawn and looked up at the apple.
I set the apple down next to the Rune watching to see what it would do. To my surprise it started eating it, it seemed to eat anything I ate, as if it was a baby learning from it's mother. I could tell this rune was much different then Zeuis.
I wasn't hungry quite yet so I put my cooler back in my pack, it wouldn't stay cool much longer but I would find out some way to cool it.
The Desert Rune had finished the apple and I packed up and folded away the tent and my sleeping bag back onto my shoulders. We kept on walking continuing on searching for a more cooler place.
The Desert Rune seemed to follow me everywhere, it was so strange how it just walked and glided right next to me.
It kinda surfed on the sand almost, I remembered when I was about 16 that I learned how to surf. Sand was almost like the water to the little Rune.
We then came across a big hill of sand. I had found a big piece of bark on our travel that seemed strong, I then had the most perfect idea. I started running for the sand and quickly climbed up it. The Desert Rune then started running after me and surfed up to get to me faster. I then set the bark on the ground, it was big almost as big as a shield. I then stepped onto the bark with my two feet. The Rune then realized what I was doing and got in the same position as me. I then kicked to get me started and we then were both streaming through the sand like on skate board. I looked behind myself seeing a bunch of bits of sand flying. This was fun.
We finally stopped taking a break. I looked at the Rune dragon, if it was to be with me on my trip, doesn't it deserve a name? I looked at the Rune. "You need a name." I said looking down at it.
The Rune instantly looked up with it's bright eyes. I smiled and looked at the rune. "Dandelion? No no, your a boy aren't you, um... Dutto?" I suggested. The Rune dragon nodded slowly and then crawled onto my lap. I smiled and pet down Dutto's back.
I then got up Dutto quickly crawling off to follow me. I began to keep walking.

We then traveled to a rocky place that was shaded partly by the rocks.
We set up the tent together and built it up, we took a small snack break inside. It was starting to get late out and we wanted to be well rested in the morning so we instantly went to bed.
We were like buddies now, always together, forever and ever. But that was to be found out.
I woke up from the heat burning on my face as I rolled over. I blinked by eyes open starving. I remembered that tomorrow would be my last day, the day I would be traveling home.

Big WIP.

Owner Name: running red panda
(Your Username goes here)
Name: Sandman
(Dragon's Name goes here)
Gender: Male
(Male or Female?)
Personality: He is very strong. He would never back down from a challenge. You will never see him cowering in a corner. He only does that when no one is looking(just kidding, but seriously  :P )
(What is the dragon's personality like?)
Why do you wish to have him/her: He is really cool! He is one of the most unique Rune I have ever seen! I love rune dragons, and he would be a great first one!
(State what drew you to the dragon or why you would want it.)
Where will you keep him/her:
Um... I think I would put it in my siggy, and maybe, If I create a character Thread, He will go there!
(Will you keep it in your sig, character thread, etc...)
Would you like to breed him/her in the feature: OMG yes! He would produce the coolest offspring I could ever imagine!
(This is just general info for me to use. State if you would like to breed it later on or not)
Any Quirks: He sometimes starts to sing the song "somebody I used to know" by gotye, Thinking he is as good of a singer as him.(don't tell him he isn't. He gets mad...)
(Quirks are funny habits or odd things the dragon may do.)
Other: One day I went to the desert with my dad. We were planning to do a 10 mile run. About 7 miles into it, I started to get out of breath and it was hard to breathe. Soon I passed out, right in the middle of the desert. We were three miles from the car, so my dad couldn't take me anywhere in the amount of time I had left. My dad poured some of his water over me to keep me cool(er). I was almost gone when A rune dragon showed up. He did something to me to make me feel better. I woke up with him sitting on my chest. He showed us a desert oasis(weird right?) and we hung out there for a while. Apparently, it wasn't far from our car, so we just went back home. When I got out of he car, the rune from the desert hopped out of the trunk. I looked at my dad. "Can we keep him?" The rune looked at him as if asking"please?" He looked at both of us and nodded. I looked at the rune and picked it up. I could tell we were going to be good friends.
