Poem
Fur of purple shining brightly,
she is one who is very sightly.
Many have traveled far to see,
the wonderous beauty who is so free.
Something that grows just like a tree,
And will always be dearest to me.
With a leopard print which does please,
many will stay and watch with tea.
Graceful movements to perfection,
I promise she will recieve the dearest affection.
With eyes as gentle as a feather,
I swear we will always be together.
Under the shining stars we sit,
like two gears working together; we will always fit.| ::
Story
::| LuLu Grape gazed around the pond quietly. All was peaceful, so relaxing. She dived into the glittering blue pond, her pastel purple, snow white, and dark purple leopard spotted fur sleek as she swam with perfected movements t o the finest. The coolness of the waves battling against her face was refreshing. A hard day of work was at an end and now was the time to have fun. She twirled joyously through the water her black eyes lit with glee. Her tail and legs pwoering her way through the water, leaving not even a splash behind. Nothing she was, but a blur in the water to others.
Little did she know a hunter was nearby. Looking for the flying platypus to sell to petshops, zoos, anything to make a prophit. Lulu Graps realized at the last second, as two shadwos fell over her and scooped her with a jerk out of the water. She let out a sharp cry of surprise, a warning call to the others. Was this the end? Would she never see her family again? how could she have been so careless? The thoughts raced through her head. She squirmed as the man started lifting her way from the pond. She was losing hope, she stopped struggling and went limp saddly.
She squeked with surprise as she landed with a thump in the grass. She rolled over as she heard the sharp cry from the human. What had disturbed him--her thoughts cut short and her eyes widened in horror.
"No!" she cried out.
"Gaia, keep away from him! Please!" She cried to her sister. She watched in horror and surprise as she watched her sister as she nipped constantly at the human. After awhile whih was only a few seconds the human was angered beyond belief. With a powerful kick, he sent Gaia flying through the air and hit the water.NO her thoughts raced as she plundged after her as the human ran from the scene. Lulugrape dragged Gaia from the water and lay her on a patch of grass where the sun hit perfectly.
"Gaia, are you ok? Please tell me you'll be fine?" Gaia looked up Lulu and nuzzled her gently, barely able to let a small purr escape her beak.
"You promise me you'll be careful from now on? To be a good little angel?"
"Dont talk like that! Don't you leave me!" her thoughts raced as she watched her sister, so many precious memories. Them swimming together in the summer, the sunlight shining and warming their fur. Tears sparked her eyes and a sob escaped her.
"oh for goodness sakes! If you cry i'll slap you with my tail! Yesh, so dramatic." Gaia rolled her eyes, and smiled. Her eyes were dulled but still beamed with warmth.
"I will always be with you, OK?" Gaia spoke softly as her life drained away into the raindrops beading down her fur and into the earth.
"Always?" Lulu asked cusiously, still glad her sister still had some humour left.
"Always, just look in the pond. I'll be there" she nudged her one last time and slapped her playfully with her tail as she saw a teardrop form on Grapie's eye. She settled down and went limp, it looked as if she was sleeping. The rain gently beading down onto her and gently beading like pearls onto Gaia's wings. Lulu Grape gazed at her sister and whimpered, but remembering her words she padded to the pond and looked down. A smile appeared on her beak as she saw memories play onto the pond. Everything would be ok, she padded back to Gaia's body and nuded her into a giant bubble (dont ask me from where xD) and it sunk into the ponds with the memories glowing within it. Everything would be alright... |::
Why you want it
::| Its beautifull made, and I love how the colours battle with each other but compliment each other making the platypus look adorable. She is neat and very cute, I like the leopard print and h ow all the designs work together. Her designs are simple yet beautiful and Although her fur may be steal the show with hints of white, and shades of purple it makes her have a gentle look. She worked her way into a spot in my heart. She would be my first winged platypus and I'd be hounored is she was, and surely not my last.|::
