When I saw the black female wolf reference with red markings, the first thing that popped in my head for the rear marking was that it looked like a Native American Firebird or is it Thunderbird. Found it's a Thunderbird.(Thank you for the post below
) Above it, looked like their symbol for a comet, so I made both markings look a little more like the true Native American Symbolism and I made the markings on the front legs go down a little more like runes. I of course removed the bandages and put one simple bandage in red on the tail with peacock feathers tucked into it.I did a single feathered and gold earring with a red post but I can remove that if you think it is too "girly." I am also going to remove the bangle bracelets unless you say otherwise because I didn't see the tomboy part until this posted. Sorry about that, I am usually more thorough in reading the description before I begin.
Anyhoo, glad I could do this for Flare<3, she's been very busy with finals.
