Owner Name:
Kodak-Problem?
Name:
Firdaus(means 'paradise' in Arabic...)
Gender:
Male
Personality:
Usual quite calm and serene, this little rune dragon seems to have the wisdom of his ancestors. Even though he's quiet,he can be energetic, elegantly swooping over the dunes of sand, leaving behind anyone who was traveling,or attempting to travel, with him. He takes great pride in his posture and to the upmost expense to keep well rested. He seems to have much experience in traveling, often seen gazing up thoughtfully at the stars in the night sky, almost using them as a map. He does like to be left alone, sitting quietly, contemplating the day's events usually. Inquisitive and a little presumptuous,he's not afraid of hopping on your head and bothering you until he gets what he wants. He will steal though,so be watchful, you may not notice until you stumble upon a little stash of hidden treasures, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, watches, coins, even a spectacle,it runs in his blood to love and seek out shiny and stunning treasures.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
Well, its beautiful robe for one thing, its eyes almost glittering up at the night sky. Its wonderful marking on his feathers, what a lovely rune dragon this is. What a wonderful and endearing character this will be,maybe I'll even use it in some of my semi-lit role-plays.
Where will you keep him/her:
Well,I don't have a character thread yet,I usual don't really ask for customs of my characters...but I'll definitely stick him in my signature, maybe I'll have to reorganize it to fit him in the center, maybe go fancy and find a desert theme.
Would you like to breed him/her in the feature:
Yes please
Any Quirks:
Well, like I mentioned before,he is persistent and will pester people until they give in,if they don't,he can be a little...aggressive. But not to worry,he is usually calm and collected, though he may steal some of your jewelry,he loves shiny things, exotic, fancy, shimmering, you name it,you'll wake up the next morning and 'boom',"Where did my ring go?",he loves to stash things and make a little nest.
Other:
This shall be my story of Frost(White hair that goes to her shoulders with stunning blue eyes, small frame, pale skin) and Laohe(Shoulder length black hair, vivid green eyes, lean yet sturdy build, tan skin;my characters),I suppose, and how they stumbled upon him...
Frost trudged through the tent and looked up warily at the sunrise over the sand dunes, she had gotten barely any sleep last night, considering the howls of the sandstorm that decided to unleash it's fury on their poor innocent tent. "Oh great"she complained, grimacing at the water sack,"I forgot to take this in..."she sighed, she could be rather forgetful. She bent down and picked up the brown, coarse sack that held, used to hold, their precious water. She tipped in and sloppy and thick mud plopped out,she grimaced,'And I thought mud back home was bad'she thought miserably. While she sulked,Laohe stumbled out of the ragged tent, his black hair frayed out in every direction. Frost turned and snickered slightly, putting her thumb to her lips to resist a sharp comment. Laohe saw this and frowned, furrowing his brow,he felt his hair and grumbled. Straitening it out he saw what remained of the water supply and gave Frost a glare. "You do realize you doomed us,right?"he asked sharply,Frost snorted,"You were here too"she argued back. He sighed and looked towards the direction they were supposed to head and frowned,Frost, meanwhile, wandered over to the tent, she stuck her head inside and scrunched her nose. Their tent was a mess, sleeping bags sprawled out, their journal and pens scattered about. She sighed and began cleaning, she put everything in a satchel and folded the tent, this took about half an hour, considering it was Frost. Laohe was sitting on their makeshift desk,he had packed up everything, but was studying a map that they found in their recent adventures. He sprang up and put it in his torn backpack, they both sighed in unison as they trudged through the bleak sand, they had their canteen, one canteen, they both took sips form it while wiping their brow with a tattered bandana. Frost looked up,she had been looking at the ground as a focus, her blue eyes widened as she spotted two dark figures. She shook Laohe, but he already saw,"No,you're not hallucinating"he assured her as the figures came closer. They both squinted,Laohe knew that they weren't that close to a town, even though they were traveling to one. The figures actually were smaller than expected, they were small rune dragons. Frost squealed while Laohe narrowed his eyes,"Oh! Look at them, that one even has a little hood! Oh!"Frost said giddily,Laohe gave her a look,"Right, don't scare them"he scolded the girl, she mumbled a apology and studied them. The hooded one,Firdaus, chirped and tilted his head, his silver eyes glittering with intelligence, the other,a yellow striped one,let out a loud 'caw' and flapped its wings unsurely, backing. Firdaus chirped and ruffled his feathers,as if challenging the other, the yellow striped remained quiet. Frost watched incredulously,"Wow"she murmured,Laohe rolled his eyes,Firdaus heard what she said and puffed out his chest a little. Laohe bent down, sweat dripping off his forehead,he wiped his forehead with the bandana, startling the yellow striped,it let out a trill and hopped away, spreading his wings and taking off,yet still lingering, waiting for Firdaus. Frost watched and knelt down too, reaching out her hand, her shimmering, blue ring that she almost always wore shone in the harsh sun,the sand burning her palms. Firdaus saw the 'treasure' that Frost had and hopped near her,his little ribbon on his robe waving with the welcomed breeze. He hopped on her arm,Frost froze, smiling lightly with the encounter of the elusive dragon. Firdaus bit her ring, and her finger accidentally,Frost yelped and yanked her arm back, blinking as sand flew in her eyes from the sudden movement. Firdaus let out an annoyed whining sound and spread his majestic wings, his eyes locked on Frost. Frost glared at the little dragon,"No"she scolded, though her eyes showed she didn't mean it. Firdaus persisted, leaping on her shoulder and tugging on a strand of her white hair,Frost frowned and patted the little dragon, unsure what to do. Laohe had watched and sighed,"I think he might have taken a fancy to your ring"he said,Frost's eyes widened with realization,"Oh~"she said almost dreamily,a light smile on her face, she took off her blue ring and held to the dragon. The dragon stood dumbfounded for a brief moment before snatching the rung and trilling with delight,he flew off Frost's shoulder and to his companion. The yellow striped twittered excitedly about the treasure and they began what seemed fighting. Laohe facepalmed while Frost frowned at the situation, she silently sulked,"Come,we must go to the town before night"Laohe spoke quickly, grabbing her hand, leaving the majestic yet greedy rune dragons,at least that's how Laohe viewed them. Frost trudged behind him,she examine her finger and sighed. 'Well,at least I hope I made them happy'she thought semi bitterly, semi satisfied. Night came sooner than expected, causing Frost and Laohe to set up camp not far form the town,Laohe muttered about that while Frost was still pondering about the dragons. In the night, something clashed with the tent, waking Frost and Laohe up with a start. Frost peeked outside sleepily, her eyes drooping, she nearly collapsed when she felt a weight on her head, she squealed,"Ah! Whatisit?!Whatisit!? What. Is. It!?"her hands flew up to her head and clasped onto warm cloth,a annoyed trill told Frost who it was,she grinned,"Laohe, look!"she said happily,Firdaus sat in her lap, looking up at her with clear, silver eyes. Laohe had to roll his eyes, but grinned anyway,"Uh huh,you sure did have a time with that one"he said, referring to her fit about what was on her head. She gave him a pout,"It could have been a snake"she argued,Firdaus suddenly leapt onto her shoulder, nibbling her ear, which was strange, because she didn't have earrings on. She squealed and patted him on the head, pushing back his hood of his robe. She cooed to Firdaus while Laohe facepalmed and grumbled about spoiling him. Frost stroked Firdaus's head with her index finger, humming softly,Laohe watched and had been silently coming up with a name,"How about Abel?"he suggested,Frost tilted her head,"I like Firdaus..."she said, completely brushing off Loahe's glare. Laohe contemplated and nodded,Firdaus chirped and hopped down, perching on the center of the map,his red robes shifting as he breathed softly, his eyes closing, his rune markings glowed softly.
(sorry if I mention he had black eyes,I fixed that,or at least tried to ^^' AND sorry for any weird little words,I'm on mobile and have autocorrect *facepalm*)
