Personality: Calypso is an exceedingly shy filly, and she isn't one with words. She usually just grazes alone, while the other young UPH's play. Although she is shy, she is very protective and aggressive when provoked, making her seem like an odd one out. She never really had any friends, and she often sat alone, watching the sun set or rise. Calypso often gets nervous around other horses, and when she is openly approached by one, she shies away and trots to another secluded area, where she can be alone to think. The others of her species think her to be a simple-minded young foal that doesn't do much and is practically worthless, but she is the complete opposite of that. She is very smart, and she processes every single thing that she sees, committing it to memory and she can remember it as easily as remembering her name. She doesn't get close to others because she is afraid of them getting hurt, or being killed, as is what happened to her mother and her old best friend. She doesn't want to face despair, and she always has that cold, hard fear nagging at her heart, always reminding of her promise to herself, to never get close to another horse. Every night, her dreams are haunted by her mothers desperate screams when she was captured. Calypso, still being a very young foal then, didn't know what was happening and had been petrified to the point of useless. Every time she has that dream, she wakes drenched in a cold sweat, her heart thumping wildly and a new found fear aching in her chest.

Personality: Liberty is a wise mare. Most people would think that she is much older than she really is on how she acts and everything. Liberty can be very sweet, not wanting to make waves, she loves to care for her herd, helping the elderly mare of the band or the foals. Yet Liberty has a wild side to her. She is firece and free. She does not want to give up her freedom. She will struggle and bite to earn her freedom back. Ever since she's been captured, Libery has become depressed and gloomy. She snaps at everyone, humans and horses alike. Will she ever get back home? Time will tell.

Age: 3
Personality: Contessa is a gentle, sweet, young mare with a taste for adventure. She loves apples, and is mysterious. She tends to wander away from the herd, and that is often what gets her started on a new adventure. She loves butterflies, and loves to chase them. Her mother dissapeared when she was only a year old, and she hasn't seen her since. Her favorite type of flower is the bluebell, and her favorite time of year is spring. She is calm, but still sometimes frisky. As a foal, she sprained her leg, and she still has a little limp, but it's barely notice able.

Name: Blue Merl
Age: 11
Personality: Merl is one of her kind. She's outgoing, friendly, kind-hearted, honest and still loves to play pranks on people sometimes, even if she outgrew the filly stage quite long ago. Usually you'll see her doing something as she's not a horse that stands still for long. Everyone in her herd loves her and there were some young stallions that tried to convince her joining another herd. But Merl is still dreaming about that one stallion she'll love forever and none of those matched her idea.
If she's serious about something, you'll notice it. Even though she likes to play pranks she doesn't overdo them and she would never play pranks that hurt another horse's feelings (pretending to be interested in a stallion if she isn't or grin and bear it if something really moves her, for example). If she wants something, she usually gets it because giving up is no option for her and she can be very stubborn if needed.
Also you'll notice if she's angry. Since it's not her nature to hide anything she doesn't hide her anger either. If something really annoys her, the change in personality is quite frightening. But once the storm's over she won't be resentful.
She'll protect her loved ones by all means and can't bear it if someone gets hurt because of her. Occasionally she needs time for herself so she'd just leave the herd for a while to be at peace.
