Why do you want it?
I was browsing the forum and this picture just happened to be featured under 'Recent Art in the Oekaki Forums'. The second I saw him, I knew I must have him. He's so adorable, and purple is my favourite colour. n_n
Personality of Sealgon
Bean is very shy and naive. He doesn't really understand the world around him, and is easily distracted. He loves shiny things, and is considered somewhat of a dunce among Sealgons. He's very loving and adores to be cuddled. He's still a baby at heart and always will be, and he often doesn't realize how big he is. He gets scared of most things, even things much much smaller than himself. He's a bit like Bambi personality-wise.
History
Bean was the only egg of three to hatch. His mother spoiled him and loved him more than anything else. His real name, now long forgotten, was hardly ever used, for his nickname was always used. Little Bean. His mother always called him this, and it was how he introduced himself. One particular day, he was feeling adventurous, and he wandered away without his mother. He ended up meeting a polar bear, which promptly tried to eat him because it thought he was a seal. He was lucky that his mother came to his rescue as soon as she noticed her baby was gone, or else he would've been bear bait.
A few months later, another polar bear, much smaller but more vicious, attacked Bean and his mother. The polar bear was protecting her babies and finding food, but once Bean's mother had been mauled to death, the bear found the baby mourning over his mother. Becoming a mother just recently, she felt her heart break in spite of the fact that she considered him food. And so she raised Bean.
The mother bear forced Bean to leave at the same time as her other babies even though he was not mentally ready to be on his own. He knew how to fish for food, and was big enough to fend for himself, but he was still a baby at heart. The polar bear refused to continue caring for him, though, and so he left to find himself in the world.
He struggles to do things like finding a mate because he's so childish, but he does try to act normal (usually without much success).
