Story:
Yawning as I wake up I stand, stretch, and wander out for the den that is my home. My family is still sleeping and I'm careful to not trip on the horns of my brothers as they lay stretched out across the den floor, like giant fur beds. I finally reach the entrance and sigh a sigh of relief, walking calmer to the pond near our home. I take a long drink from the cold clear water, ripples running through the water like shivers. I stop and as the water settles I sigh sadly seeing the white shape of my face. My mom always said "Oh Bino, your so pretty, like freshly fallen snow..." but as I looked at myself pretty was the last thing that came to mind. I was pure white. Almost unrealistically white. I had a pink tint under my eyes around my nose and on my belly where my skin showed through. Compared to my brothers and sisters who were all darker browns, greys, and blacks, I was so ugly. They all had brindle markings, stripes, spot, dappled patterns. I had nothing. Just stupid plain white fur. I had tried many times to explain my feelings to my parents but they always said "Don't worry, your beautiful.." and nothing more.
