Apache~ I think Twg was making a new form for the teenies?

Their pretty young, aren't they?, so wouldn't it be a little difficult to do their history?
Unless you do their future instead?

No, I mean history. And I think it's fine tabby ^^; TWG didn't say anything about new forms to me when she said I could design some of them.

History can still be done, a lot of people do events in the wolf's puppy years anyway. Teenies are in-training wolves, who have not yet got their armor but do have a mentor they are learning under. They could have already seen their first kronador attack, or fought their first kronador. or just an interesting birth story.

really, the history/story is to see how you write, in order to judge the personality you gave to the character and your rping skills should you roleplay with him.

@doglover: his story looks fine to me, unless by regal birth you mean his parent was a UR. that would have to be okay-ed by TWG90. But I think you just mean his father being a strong, loyal WOI.

yes I can answer questions about him :>

Ahhh, I see ;3
Got a little confused about that, thanks for clearing it up.
New forms, me and a few others were talking with Twg, about that on her xat ages ago. So that's why I was thinking 'huh?'

Is there any way I could change the tail to a long tail in my form?

I know I would probably get off on my score, but I can deal ouo

Ima go ahead and post my form, but I still need an answer ^_^

-EDIT-

Also, you may have to ask TWG90, but may I mention Butterbirds in my story? I know they aren't really being used yet

[im going to add in another person in here for my story, if that's okay]

Image
Image
Name: Autioan

Gender: Male

Personality: Autioan is willed, wild, and witty. He keeps strong to what he believes in, doesn't give up easily, and eventually in a mystery he notices one mystery just leads to another, and those mysteries are impossible to solve. Though calm, Autioan can get very fiesty and stubborn. But usually he is humourous and caring, mostly Auti never thinks of himself and won't get what he wants, basically he refuses, until others are satisfied. One person saying they do not like him could change his life forever, because he is easily overwhelmed and is always trying to improve himself because of others words.

Story/History: The flimsy peice of parchment felt heavy on my heart. It had been flowing in the wind carelessly, much less likely for me. Usually I don't let a single thing like this ruin my day, but today it was different. The little peice of paper noted, 'This is a dead end- no way out. Our hands might meet, but when that happens, you must admit defeat. You may be mine, but your not so kind. Im controlling your mind. For now, we wait until tomorrow comes.
The parchment landed here,
It's just enough closely near
To weigh on your soul,
Weigh on your heart'
It had ended with that life-changing poem. I examined it for a moment, and read it over again. "Dead end, no way out? Defeat? Ha, unlikely. Not so kind, controlling my mind?" The poem was a distinct question mark for myself, I couldn't even get myself to think about it, nor could I get myself to read it over. It was just enough closely near to weigh on my soul, weigh on my heart, for sure. I knew I couldn't let this flimsy peice of blowing paper to ruin my life, but I just couldn't help it. A voice suddenly called out for me. I nearly fell over as it startled the living daylights right out of my body.
"Autioan." A firm, wise sounding voice sent chills through my body, like the person who had uttered my name was whispering right in my ear. I turned around to find Cailian standing right behind me. Somehow, even though i've known him for a while, his voice was unfamiliar. I smile coincedentally and return to my post. "Hello, Cailian. How are things going at your po-" I stopped immediately. Cailian, I noticed, wasn't at his post, where he was supposed to be standing and watching. "Cailian." He smiled sneakily and slipped past my eyes without me even knowing. Before I know it, I had to crane my head and rotate my body just to notice him. "Mhm, Autioan? Is something wrong?" Before I could answer, he took off. I snuck the small peice of parchment that had just peirced my thoughts under a large, expendable rock and took off after Cailian, dashing to gain to his speed. When I had gained myself to his remarkable speed, he smiled slyly again and made me crane my neck again. It hurt outrageously, but I wasn't about to loose him. I admired his speed. "You surely.." I paused, taking a weak breath. "Run fast, Ca-Cailian." It took him one flick of a wrist to stop, and I went flying on the grass. After I had crashed, and turned around to argue with him, he was gone.

~A few hours later~

I finally got Cailian to stop and talk with me. "Cailian," I say, remarking his swift movements. "I have to leave soon."
Cailian nods understandably and frowns sadly. "I know. But the thing is, Auti, I was running from you because I was... stalling. Your a good friend of mine, and I don't want to see you leave."
I smiled sweetly. "That's kind of you, bud, but I have to leave. I came to this place for a reason, I was born for a reason, and I intend to figure out what that reason is." He nods again and let's me leave for once without a fight, or a incredibly-tiring run. I slip away from his eye's grasp and quickly return to the rock I had slid the note under, and had took it with me on my journey.

~A few days later~

I had been studying the note. I had figured out it had something to do with... why im here. What my purpose is. Was my purpose to be pushed around? Am I just a waste of flesh? Possibly.
I had also noticed something- this person who wrote the note, let's say the player, is playing me like a game. Their ruining my life for their own expenses. Me, let's say the pawn, is being played like the fool I am. How was it not clear?
Suddenly the answer was clear to my purpose here;
My purpose was to be me. It was to defeat this player. I guess im just the pawn who has to ruin the player in this royally messed up game, called life.
And I am what I am.

I am...
Warrior of Isket.

{Horrible story is horrible}

ARMOUR

With a flick of my tail and a twitching ear, I strutted forwards. A proud smile spread across my face as I stared up at my father. I dropped the kronador claw at his feet at smiled. “I found it Dad!”

His smile lit up my face as he said “Wonderful my little Receiver!”

I giggled at the use of his pet name for me. “Thanks Giver!” I barked back, using my nickname for him. I was proud to be an only child. I got to spend so much time with my dad, whereas other Warriors barely fit in enough time with their siblings butting in and all. But still, it hurt my heart that my siblings had died with the same disease my mother had. She passed away when I was small, so I never got to see her.

Dad licked his head and waved his tail. I leapt at it and playfully landed in his fluffy fur. He chuckled and tried to pull it away, but I stalked it and leapt at it, hunting playfully. We went through this every evening, he would come home and we would play.

“I brought something for us to share.” He pulled out a large bone from behind him and dropped it at my feet.
I didn’t say anything; I just grabbed the bone and ran.
“HEY!” He barked “Come back here!”
I ran down the corridor, dragging the bone behind me. I heard him running after me so I banked left into a narrow tunnel and squeezed through. I laughed as he tried to all push through at once, getting stuck in a funny position. Sticking out my tongue, I dashed off. Pain spread through my foot as I tripped over a small stone. I yelped and dropped the bone to the ground, tumbling forwards and landing upside down at the feet of a warrior. Embarrassed, I looked him and gasped.
“R-r-r-Rayos?” I stuttered. He smiled at me and nudged me to my feet.
“With moves like that, little one, I can tell you have potential!” He said with a warm grin.
I smiled at him and beamed with pride.
“Thanks!” I said, wagging my tail profusely.
When I walked back to dad, I dropped the bone at his feet.
“C’mon now, story time” He said and we walked together to the fire. He lit the flames with the flint and we sat down. This was the second part of our routine. He would tell me the news, and then told fantastic tales about ancient battles and warriors.

I was getting on in age, around teen, or as my dad calls them “teenies”. My dad smiled at me and held up a wooden helmet. “It’s time” He said, smiling. My eyes turned wide, and I smiled.

“Really?” I said in awe. “OhmygoshreallyIcouldneverbelieveitohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshreallyreallyreally?”

“Yes” My father responded. “It’s time.”

Never returning

The moon was so bright that fateful night. The moonlight shone through the cave entrance and softly stroked my pelt. Staring up at the sky, the wind flowing through my fur... It was almost like being in heaven. My heart longed for adventure... Adventure that I thought would never come. But I was wrong. My father stepped up beside me, his fur softly swaying in the breeze. He told me he was leaving for his duties soon. He was going out to do the things that I always dreamed of. I sighed and stood up. Looking at the open space made me smile. I knew that this was my time to shine. No one to hold me back and no one to drag me down. I turned to my dad and told him that I was going out. He softly nodded and turned back to the cave. I couldn’t tell him I was not returning for a long period of time. That would hurt him too much.

Approximately one hour later, my dream turned into a nightmare. A storm was brewing and rain stung my pelt as I ran. Branches reached out and slapped me as I dashed through the trees. I was lost, I wanted to go home. If this was adventure, I never wanted to see it again. I wanted to feel the warmth of my dad... To see the fire glint of my father’s armour in the mesmerizing way that always made me laugh. But all I saw now was darkness. I noticed a small, abandoned, pup den, poking out from the ground. It must have been old, as it was tiny and barely a hole in the ground from erosion. I didn’t care that the musk of the other family was strong, or that it was small. I just wanted shelter... I pushed myself into it and curled up into a ball. The walls muffled the pounding rain, so I fell asleep quickly... Dreaming of home... Not adventure... My nightmare had just begun...

Dad licked my head. He smiled down at me. I nearly glowed with pride. They were proud of me! I pranced around, grinning. Dad looked up at a slight movement in the cave entrance. A chimera was standing there, drool glistening and dripping off its tongue. I yelped and hid behind him. He growled and lurched forwards at the cavern exit. The chimera slipped past dad and lashed out at me with its clawed hands-paw things. It grabbed me and pulled me towards a dark hole in the ground. I was dragged into suspending space and I yelped as glowing red eyes glared at me, a laugh cackling out in the black. I closed my eyes, waiting for it all to be over.

I jolted up, yelping inside the den. I shook off the awful nightmare and squirmed out of the hole. The sky was clear of clouds and rain... nothing like last night. The wind whistled through the leaves, the sound ringing in my ears. I also heard something else. The sound that a Chimera usually makes as it slinks through the grass. I gasped and crouched down, my ears flattening back, terrified. The chimera slinked out of the brush and looked around.
He snickered and started towards me. I braced myself for the attack but he just went right past me. The chimera tagged a smaller female one hiding in the bushes and laughed. I figured that he had not seen me, they were just playing. I was so small compared to them; I hadn’t realized ‘till then that we were all the same age. The female giggled and made sounds that sounded slightly like counting. The male started to run away, but his leg came down on my head, a claw digging into my eye.

A scream escaped my mouth and the chimera looked down at me. I knew I was in BIG trouble. He grinned and kicked dust in my face, then ran away chuckling. I never knew that anyone could be so cruel. I lay on the grass, staining the ground red. I had no other choice but to keep going until I found help. Standing up weakly, I whimpered and trudged slowly forwards. My face burned with pain, I couldn’t see out of the eye that was stomped on, and blood dripped down my muzzle. I walked for a while, not getting any farther than a mile, and when I couldn’t take it anymore, I fell to the ground and blacked out.

I opened my eyes to gaze at an old warrior of isket. She was holding a rag in her mouth and smiled at me. I blinked my one eye and looked at the Isket. Her fur was red with white and pink elegant designs swirling across her pelt. {Completely random design} I reached up at my eye with a paw, but the old warrior snapped “Don’t boy, no touching the bandage or it’ll come off”
I jerked my head up, my face turning to a snarl. “BOY? I’M A GIRL YOU IDIOT!” I growled before I had realized what had escaped my mouth.
The warrior blinked and muttered “Well, I’m sorry then”
I sighed and shook my head. “Who are you?” I finally asked.
“Me? My name is Koware. I am a retired warrior. I stay out here so I can be alone.”
I stared at her and sighed. “I miss my parents”
She grinned and said “I can train you and get you back to your parents. But first, how about some armour?”
I blinked and looked up at her. “Armour? But I haven’t gone through initiation!” I cried.
Koware just laughed and said “Oh, I don’t go by the rules of the Isket packs. I’m a loner. Just use the armour until you return home.”

~~ 1 Month later ~~

I grinned and readied myself for the jump. My paws kneaded the ground, my excitement nearly getting the best of me. Koware’s voice rang in my head. “C’mon Senshi... Do it!” But not in her usual voice. This was the voice that pushed me to do things I could never do before,
I started to run, the canyon coming closer with every step. Suddenly, something inside of me snapped. I skidded to a halt, digging my claws into the dirt. Laughing in my head, Koware said “Knew ya couldn’t do it!” I growled and scratched the ground, angry with myself for wimping out. I HAD to jump the canyon to show Koware that I was strong. I started to walk back to the den, snarling all the way. I was out there because Koware had been driving me CRAZY. She always calls me 'boy' and as I am very sensitive about that, it annoys me to no end. She told me that when I completed my training with her then she would then and only then, think of me as a girl and I could leave. I don't like that rule. I tried to sneak back in to keep Koware from asking me anything, but she was sitting there, one eyebrow raised, looking at me. "Where were you?" She asked. I moaned and muttered "Practicing..." She just nodded and walked back to her sleeping area. I sighed and walked to mine, glaring at Koware all the way. I did that for nights afterward to ready myself to do it in front of her. Then, on that faithful day, I did it. I ran with all my might, Koware nodded as I ran, my armour next to her so I could jump without it weighing me down. I pushed myself to my limit, and leapt. I felt as wings had grown on my back as I soared across the gap. But, of course, there were no wings and I didn't really fly. But it sure felt like it. I landed on the other side of the gorge, my paws sinking into the blue grass. I smiled and thrust my head up, letting out a cry of happiness. I had done it. But when I looked back, I realized that if I had started inches behind where I had, I never would have made it. But still... I had done it. So HAHA Koware. TAKE THAT!
When I got back to the den, Koware, who had already gone back after the jump, smiled and said two words that made me happier than ever before. "Congrats girl!" I smiled proudly and she laughed "Tomorrow you will leave!"

Well... It was the next day and Koware finally let me leave. I smiled at her and walked away. I would miss her. She trained me as much as she could. Even though she called me male, she was loving and caring. I wanted to go home, but she was one of the nicest warriors I had ever met.

~The next day-

I trudged along. With the faint rustle of the bushes, I leapt to attetion. A sleek kronador stepped forwards. I growled at him, terrified underneath as I knew I could never take him alone. He looked around and grinned sheepishly. I glared at him, not willing to turn my back. He stuttered "Hel-lo" I stared at him in disbelief. “You can talk?” I asked.
He slowly nodded and said “Ye-s”.
I twitched my tail and turned my head. “How?”
“Lea-rned fr-om y-y-you.” He muttered, blushing.
I rolled my eyes at his embarrassment, and turned to leave. “No l-l-l-leave!” He yelped, nearly screaming. I turned to face him. He held a rose in his teeth and was blushing uncontrollably. I stopped in my tracks and looked at his face. Not a lying sneak, but someone who was sincerely kind. “I... ju- b-y wh-at in-s-s-side, n-not o-o-out” He nervously said, then laughed. I blinked, a confused look plastered stupidly across my face “But you’re a Chimera.”
“Y-es, and y-ou WOI. Stating obvious finished?”
“Yes, but why do you like me?”
“N-n-ever s-sa-id I lik-ed”
“Well, do you?”
“Yes”
“HA! See?”
“See?”
“You like me! You said it yourself!”
“And?”
“Well... Never mind.”
“O-kay.”
I paused for a moment then said “So you really like me?” He grinned again and said "Yeh." My face turned as red as his, smiling and flattening my ears back. I took the rose from him. Turning away, I said “Thanks for the rose." He smiled at me and we walked into the darkness, together and not alone. We had just met, but we were friends

His passion was what I most enjoyed with him. Whenever I offered to teach him to speak, he always eagerly leapt to his feet. He was gettin a lot better. He could say simple sentences without stuttering much, yet he still has a heavy accent. Whenever he got a word wrong, I would shake my head and correct him. But when he got it correct, I would nod and reward him. He kept giving me roses, which was quite awkward, but it got less awkward as time went on. I began to enjoy him gving me the flowers. I began to have stronger feelings for him. More than friends... love? Maybe. I didn't know.

Raji and I had together for all of the days I had been there. It may seem insane, but he was nothing like anyone I had ever met before. He was nicer, kinder, and sweeter than even Koware. One day, Raji smiled at me and walked over. I blushed and turned away. It was slightly embarrassing. He told me he wanted to talk with me and walked with me deep into the woods. When we were in far enough, he gazed into my eyes and said three words that stunned me into silence. Those wonderful words were "I love you." I gasped. "I love you too" I managed to say. That was the most wonderful day of my life. Until Raji was killed. When we were out there, I saw a flash of colour. A warrior leapt from the brush and attacked Raji. I don't want to describe the bloody scene that went on, but I didn't lay a paw on Raji but my paws were coated in blood from the puddle they created. I looked up at the warrior running away. I could never follow him. But I wanted to return to my family. “NO!” I screamed, “YOU CAN’T BE DEAD!” Turning away, I sniffed. I took one last look at Raji, a tear rolling down my cheek and said "It now shall be that we will never meet again in this lifetime. So let me say, before we part, so much of me... Is made from what I loved of you... You'll be with me, like a print on my heart. And now whatever way my story ends... I know you have re-written mine, by being my friend..." My heart ached as I turned away to end the pain. But the hurt just became worse. I hated my life. It couldn't get any worse. It was even RAINING. I figured that I would never see my father again. I willed myself not to cry hard, as that irritates my eye. But I couldn't help it. Tears dampened my pelt, my eye turned red, and my bandage was nearly coming off. A lonely life of sorrows was not what I wanted to live... I trudged through the drizzle, my fur soaked to the bone and my paws stained with Raji's blood. I fell to the ground and lay there, never wanting to move. Then... I heard a voice. Oddly familiar but I couldn’t put my paw on it... “Is it alive? Well... I think so..." I looked up and saw a warrior standing above me. A male. Looked familiar. "Hey... Hey you boy. You awake?" He muttered. I jerked up and snarled "Did you just call me a BOY?” He leapt away and muttered "Sorry man... er... I mean girl!" I huffed and just shook my head slowly. “Who are you?” The male asked. “Uhhh... I am Senshireta. I am a Warrior of Isket.” I replied. The male gasped and said “Senshi? Short for maybe... Senshireta? Reciever... Is that you?”
Then I realized who he was... My... father...

As I ran forwards, my dad gasped. He grinned and licked my head, as he always liked to do. “My little baby is back,” He whispered, a tear running down one cheek.
I smiled, a small teardrop flowing down mine too "Father. How I missed you"
Later that night, I had a chance to do what my father did. Tell the tales of my adventure. As I told my story, the reactions were amazing. Some were horrified, but others were ready to hear more. It was all well until I got to the part about Raji... I made the mistake of telling my father of him... That ruined the rest of my life.

“Hey LOOK! It’s SENSHI! The KRONADOR LOVER!” A Warrior teased as I walked around. Thanks to my story spreading, I am the laughingstock of the warriors. A weakling. Someone to call a scapegoat. I stood up and padded out, wanting to prove I could go into battle. Fortunatly for me, the chimeras had all dashed away in victory before I managed to find the battle site. I gazed across the field of carnage. My bright eyes glittered as I stepped over a white furred body lying on the ground. My paws were dappled with the dark red of the enemies’ blood. I stepped towards an altar of my mentor, and an important WOI, Koware, who died in a battle a few months after I went home again. As my fur blew in the wind, I said "We may have lost this battle, but many more are to come. Come out you cowards. Face me, or are you as scared as your horrible leader" After the harsh words escaped my muzzle, two young, but still a little older than me, bloody chimeras stepped from the shadow of the altar. They were small, and one was had a bandage wrapped around his left leg. The other was missing part of her ear. The bandaged one growled to the other. The other curled her lip and growled back. I frowned and said "Tell your leader that even though you have won this, it’s not over. Rayo shall call for the best of the best and we shall overcome your army... And if they don't think of us as a threat. Tell them I was trained by Koware, one of the best warriors around! Now leave!" And with that, I lashed my claws out at the battered comrades. They both leapt up and ran away. Success.
But even that didn't help at all.
My own father dislikes me. He turns his back on me and nearly never looks me in the eyes. When he does, his eyes are full of malice and hatred. He tells me that he still loves me, but I can tell that those words are not the truth.

My father used to always say to me "I will always love you my little Reciever"

Little did he know that he was wrong. He hated me now. Oh Dad, where did your words go?

Her death story. SHE DOES NOT DIE FOR A LONG TIME, SHE IS NOT GOING TO DIE WHILE I OWN HER, IT IS JUST AN INTERESTING STORY. WARNING: VERY VERY BLOODY

Re: Teen WOI Adoptable - Contest open

Postby Koiley » Mon Nov 21, 2011 2:31 pm

Name:
Vouno
Vouno means mountain in Greek. This name was inspired by the fact that Apache had based him off of the great russet mountains and the streams of Isket.
To many, his nickname is Vou.
Gender:
Male
Personality:
Vouno is a very adventurous young Warrior. He has boundless energy at times, and immense curiosity for things. He is a very bright wolf, and is perceptive as well. Vou learns by watching and listening, tending to be a quiet wolf though he is adventurous. He is very loyal, and once you gain his trust he will stick by your side and won’t ever let you down. Though on the inside he is soft and has his insecure moments.
Story/History:
(infant aged)
The first thing I remember is opening my bleary eyes, and taking in a breathtaking view of Isket. Our den, being on a mountain peak, gave me this amazing view. I swept my gaze over the majestic yet eerie forests of the Kronadors, across the vast indigo fields, and occasionally catching a glimpse of the beautiful white of the streams. I took in a quick gasp, the view mesmerizing for my new sight. It was a lot to take in compared to the blackness I’d been experiencing the past few days. I finally came back to the present, my awed moment passing. I turned quickly behind me after hearing a light chuckle, seeing my parents standing there proudly. I tottled over to my mother, who curled around me and whispered; “One day, little warrior, once you are big and strong you will be able to explore every inch of this territory.” And with that exciting thought, I drifted off to sleep.

(teen aged)
I got up early, before anyone else. You see, there was this cave in a part of the forest I’d been forbidden to go into...and today, I planned to go see why it was deemed so “dangerous”. At the time, I was a young and stupid teen, and had little to no common sense. I creeped out of our den, past the snoring sentry, and into the forest. I’d been planning this for a long time, so I knew the route by heart. I was keeping careful watch. In my free time I’d come out here and check for scents, and many times I’d catch a strong and recent Kronador stench. I crept forwards, hearing a rustle of bushes and a snarl, I bolted into the cave. I wasn’t watching where I was going, and before I knew it, I was plummeting down what seemed to be a sort of hole. When I reached the bottom, I landed with a jarring thud and blacked out.
When I came to, a hissed, mocking whisper emanated from the darkness. “Well well well, sleeping beauty woke up, then?” I sat bolt upright, swaying slightly. My head was thumping, and I struggled to think straight “Who’s there?” I called, trying to sound strong and fearless but it was a hard charade to put up. A hulking figure loomed out of the darkness, yellow eyes glaring at me. I was taken back. ‘I’d fallen into this hole..and there happened to be a Kronador in it!? My luck..’ I thought to myself bitterly. Though I was stuck down here with our natural enemy, it was luckily around the same age as myself and not that much bigger. I recognized the scent, this one hung out around the cave a lot. No wonder it fell in here, stupid thing.. “Stay away, scum.” I growled, attempting to stand. My hackles raised, but I was not very steady on my feet yet. I figured it could see how unstable I was, because it laughed cruelly “Are you planning to take me on like that?” It scoffed, it’s coughing laugh echoing around the horrible little black space. At this point, I launched myself at it, finding more strength in my legs than I expected. When I collided with the monster, I could tell it was unprepared. When I began tearing at its neck, it also seemed as though it was a bit malnourished..I figured it had been in this hole for a while. We tussled for a short period of time before tiring each other out and collapsing in a pile. I was panting heavily, the Kronador doing the same. I slid off, glaring at it. We shared a look of realization, before both staggering up and looking up at the hole entrance. With unspoken words, we’d established we’d see who could get out first. I jumped up, scrabbling at the crumbling dark russet dirt. I fell back in a pile of soil, standing up wearily and shaking out my fur. I looked over at the Kronador, watching it attempt to grasp onto a root that was sticking out of the side. The root came flying out of the wall, showering us both with dirt. I spat some soil out of my mouth. “Well this isn’t going to work..” I grumbled. I was overwhelmed, falling back on my rear. “It won’t.” It said, tilting its head in thought “We’re going to have to work together..” I looked up, seeing that the way to the top of the hole was at least two of my heights. I looked back to the Kronador, finally understanding its logic.
A day later, we were still in the hole..We’d been planning a method of escaping this horrible little hole. I hadn’t liked having to cooperate with a Kronador..but it was the only way we’d survive, and it was worth it. Our plan was that I would climb onto its back since it was a bit bigger than me, and I would pull myself out. Then I would throw down a vine from the forest, pulling it up. It was time to try, and the Kronador leaned down to allow me to climb on. It was awkward, but I eventually made it up. The Kronador grunted as I continued telling it to stretch. At this point, I was on my back legs and leaning up against the wall. I reached for the top, but it was only centimeters away. The Kronador gave one last stretch, and I threw one paw up over the edge. My claws gained purchase, and I threw the other paw over and heaved myself up. My back legs scrabbled, and I creeped up over the edge of the hole. I collapsed with the effort, panting heavily. The Kronador’s rough voice reached me “Are you up alright?” It called, clearly out of breath “Yes, I’m getting the vine!” I called back, trotting out of the cave.
The sunlight was bright at first, and I saw my parents sniffing furiously around the cave. They’d later told me they’d been tracking my scent since I’d gone missing. I howled with joy, bounding up to them and rubbing against them. They were welcoming me back, and telling me how much they loved me..but the only thing on my mind right now was getting a vine “I need a vine..” I said to myself, looking around as I pulled away. I had told them I’d meet them back at our den, and they bounded away. I spotted one vine hung in the side of the cave, yanking it out. Luckily, it would be long enough. I rushed back into the cave, looking down to see the Kronador whimpering “What’s wrong?” I asked, spitting the vine out. “I thought you’d left.” It said, joy apparent on its face even from up here. I threw the vine down, waiting for it to grab hold. Once it did, I yanked with all my might. As it was coming up over the lip of the hole, the dirt around the edge started to crumble. I saw what was happening, my eyes widening. The Kronador didn’t notice, trying to make it up still. As it began to fall, I let the vine go and grabbed a hold of its mane with my teeth. I pulled it up over once again, and for the second time we lay in a pile panting heavily. After a while we recovered, staggering to our feet. I gave a smile, wagging my tail slightly “Well, not all Kronadors are bloodthirsty demons.” I said good-naturedly. The Kronador smiled, which soon turned into a smirk. “Look, I don’t need you going around telling how I helped save a wolf.” It snarled, then shoved me hard back towards in the hole and bolted out of the cave. I was hanging by my toes on the edge, and barely holding on. I breathed hard, my feet slightly catching on a ledge. I was surprised but happy to find this. I got a little leverage, kicking and sliding myself once again over the edge of the hole. I stood up, fur tangled and blood pumping. “Apparently Kronadors aren’t thankful either..” I growled to myself before limping out of the cave. They only cared about themselves, and I wasn’t soon to forget it.
