Why I want her\him: I was first interested in Sunstruck when I read the title of the forum. After seeing the picture, I was sure I would try out for her. I really like her because of the way she looks; the colors, the pose, and just about everything else too. Also, I get the perfect image in my mind of how she would act if she were a real horse. (Plus, I'm obsessed with horses! XD)

Sunstruck got her name because she lived on an island, and her fur reflected the sun with striking beauty.
Gender: mare

Brief History: Sun is a wild horse born, tamed, and was formerly living on an island near Australia. She has been flown out to North America, where she now happily shares a home with two other horses near the beach.
Favorite thing to do: Sun is particularly fond of running events, like races, and enjoys jumping even more so. She likes to run and jump over large rocks.
Favorite color: sunset orange and cinnamon brown.
Personality: Kind to all, she is usually a pretty happy horse. she is typically outgoing, but can sometimes be shy when meeting other horses. more leader-like, she is patient, loyal, and respectful. Sun is definitely a leader. Instead of bossing around the other horses at the stable, she merely suggests things. she rarely demands things, but will if necessary.
Likes: Sand, salt and birds, because they remind her of the islands. Anything shiny or noticeably pretty is good, too. She likes the taste of cinnamon and apples.
Dislikes: Pretzles(who knows how she got to some ) and anything sharp or sour.


Story (Sun's point of view) : The sun was high in the sky as I trotted down the shore. The smell of salt filled my nostrils while the waves sloshed back and forth. up ahead, a smooth rock lay wedged in the sand. perfect!I cantered the last few paces and soared over it, and sand flew from behind my hooves. I landed swiftly on the other side, slowing my pace. now I was in the part of the island with lots of greenery. I carefully picked my way through the undergrowth, even though there wasn't much. But sometimes you would find a lost crab under a leaf or something like that, so I stay careful. I soon came to a clearing. I'll rest here before going back to the herd, I thought. I laid down by a shrub. everything was fine until a sudden rustle came. I thought little of it, until I realized there was no wind. muffled whispers turned into some sort of talking as a person came from the other side of the bush. she had long hair and a warm smile. she stretched her hand out, and I backed away. What was she doing? Her smile faded as I stepped away. she dug in her pocket and pulled out an apple piece. I knew I was tempting fate, but she seemed nice enough, and I munched the apple slice. Her grin reappeared and I allowed lead me to a ship, where I spent a day or two. we arrived and I was taken to her farm.
Apparently, the woman's name was Kyleen. She had one other mare named Lilac Ribbons, who was friendly, but didn't think much of me. I spent some years there before moving to North America. There, Kyleen bought a friendly velvety red-brown pony with a pink nose, and named her Rosie's Tune. Rosie adored me, unlike Lilac, and we soon became good friends. I now live peacefully by the beach, but I will always remember my island home.

As soon as I laid my eyes upon this mare(she seemed like a mare in my mind so I chose that for her gender in my form), I absolutely fell in love. Her markings, her design, her colors, they just seemed to perfectly fit together. I'd love for her to join my current owned ponies for their adventures throughout their lives.


Her show name would be Angel's Flight.


Her barn name would be Skye.


The meaning of Skye is;;
Simply from the English word sky, which was ultimately derived from Old Norse sky "cloud".
It also means;;
From the name of the Isle of Skye off the west coast of Scotland. It is sometimes considered a variant of SKY.
The reason I name this beautiful girl Skye is because the pose she was drawn just makes her look like she could run upon the angels and race them across the sky. She looked full of grace, beautiful and gorgeous.


As stated before, the gender of this beautiful WB Pony is mare.


She is 4 years old.


These are some of her closest friends.
Amarillo ~ They are good friends, running free with the wind and the wolves together
Anakin ~ They're pretty good friends, Skye loves to tease him a lot though.
Jaylen ~ Jaylen and Skye's similarities of just loving the wind against their coats just leaving them as a pair of best best best, friends. They're stalls in the stable are even next to each other.
Taylor ~ Taylor and Skye are friends from when they entered in shows and competitions. They are both competitive but they are very good friends.
Calimeo ~ Skye met Calimeo back when they were both just foals. Calimeo was only born a few days before her coincidentally. They've been friends ever since they met but they don't really get to see each other as often as they used to due to the different roles they lead. Little does Skye know but Calimeo has been slightly crushing on her for awhile.


Skye is quite a wild mare, quite stubborn at times but speedy and brave. Skye is very competitive in competitions, especially racing. She loves the wind rushing at her, the speed making it feel like she was flying across the sky. She's spoiled sometimes, thinking that she is the fastest horse among the land, increasing her will to become more competitive. At every loss she gets a bit 'angry'. Though overall she's still a very gentle and sweet horse, caring and protective of her loved ones. She's also sometimes a show off, and she enjoys flipping her mane like the gif down there at the bottom.


Skye's favorite color, is blue and white, the colors of, well the sky or shall I say Skye? Just kidding now, don't get serious on me. c: Skye loves those colors because whenever she gazes up at the sky she sees miles of vivid blue and tufts of white. She sometimes sees the clouds as angels. On windy days, she likes to run across the fields, pretending that she's racing those 'angels'.


Skye's favorite food is just plain, sweet, and crisp grass from the field. She loves the natural taste unlike man-made sugar cubes or horse treats.

This is a small story, told in Skye's own point of view. The topic of the story is basically how good being able to run freely actually feels to her.

The wind whistles as is passes through the trees and shrubs among the grasslands as I canter to my starting position. Whenever the wind picks up I come to this very area, where it is the windiest of all. I stop and stare into the miles of land before my eyes. The grass sway in front of me as eagles and vultures soar past high above me, as if taunting me to come race them. I went into my ready stance as I continued watching the predators soar above me. I didn't mind them, but I want to race them though. I rise up on my hind legs with a neigh, telling them to ready for a race. As if to understand me, they start to fly in the direction I was going to run. I stopped rearing and launched myself forward, galloping as fast as I could. I looked up to the few birds above me and the sky above. As I sped up, I easily caught up the the eagle. The wind made me feel free. I felt even faster, lighter, light as a feather even. It felt as if I wasn't even touching the ground. I whinnied, and continued chasing the wind. After what seems like a few hours, the wind dies down as I slow down to a trot and go back to the stables where I call home.

I picked this song because it also featured a scene, from the movie Spirit, which reminded me so much of the little story I had above about the birds and Skye, since after watching the video I remembered the scenes where Spirit ran among an eagle. I was touched and I decided it had to be the theme song.
