( Spooks is completey fearless, as you mentioned she has no natural predators so she fears nothing. Not one thing or no one. Not even Arrow trying to rob her of her snack. Example: Spooks muched happily on the remains of a sandwhich that I'd made for her, she didn't notice as Arrow creeped up on her. Arrow pounced slipping past her ready to grab that tasty sandwhich. In a flash Spooks slapped her tail across Arrow's face, and snapped at her as Arrow came back for more. So here is proof that this little girl fears nothing and no one. Spooks is a strange little rune. She lived most of her life in complete darkness unless you count those mushrooms though they barely glow at all. Spooks is obbsessed with light. She craves light. Yes she craves it. Yes Spooks is blind, you must be wonderin how she sees light. Have you ever closed your eyes when your parents were driving through a tunnel? You see nothing but black. When you get out of the tunnel(your eyes are still closed) and you can tell? What you see is no longer black? Sorry it's kinda hard to explain. Example: Spooks sat happily in the shade of a huge maple tree in the backyard, happily she was in the shade and starring at the least in awe. She can't stand being in sunlight, it's pretty painful to get sun burns(unfourently she learned that the hard way, I spend much too much time lathering cream on her), she loves starring at the lights, Example: Spooks sat in a dark room. She leap up into the air beating her wings, getting to the light switch. While fluttering over the light switch, she flicked it with her talon the room that was pitch black was illuminatedx. Brilliant lights flashed up and landed. A small grin crept up her face and she stood there starring up at the lights,dazzled by their brillainace. Another thing is that Spooks is totally obbsessed with light. Anything that glows, shines, glimmers, sparkles she instantly claims it as her own. Spooks favourite object she has is a glow stick I found for her. No one touches the glow stick with out getting a slap from her tail. Spooks may be blind though he never crashes. Not once. Her ecolocation is amazing. She is a master of knowing her way around obstacles(like "the horrible couch").

It's funny how I found Spooks. It started like any other day. I mean I wasn't even looking for a rune dragon. In fact I wasn't looking for anyone or anything. I was just taking my two dogs(two of my dog charries Arrow and Hereshy <3) I remeber that day vividly. Lets see if I can tell you how more or less the day went....
I woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm clock. Beep! Beep! Beep! Half slipping half falling out of bed I walked over to my alarm clock and pressed the snoze button. I headed back to my bed, smilling. How I love weekends. The second I got comfortable in my bed. My two dogs, Arrow and Hereshy started barking their heads off. Well it was mostly Arrow. With a groan I got out of bed to see what in the world was up. One of my eyebrows raised. "Arrow?!" A carton of milk lay on it's side gushing out a river of milk. My favourite ceral, shattered across the floor. Cookies, crumbs and pieces littered the floor. Arrow, my female german shepared dog stood in middle of the collaso mess, with a grin. She wagged her tail and padded up to me, asking for a belly rub. "Arrow! I groaned, bending over to clean up the mess. She yipped as I ignored her need for a belly rub. Hereshy bounded out from behind the cupboard. He had a apolagiotic look on his face. After cleaning up the mess. I feed them both. Clipping on their collars and leashes we got ready to go on a hike. We always had a big one on the weekends. I groaned and slapped my hand to my forehead, quickly running to get changed. After manging to change in record time. I opended the door, and stepped out. What a nice day I thought. Arrow and Hereshy quickly bounded off. Toghter we walked a little. We soon came to where we wanted to be. We walked toghter on the rolling green fields. Arrow tugged ahead, half choking herself in the process. Hereshy even looked anxious to get off leash. With a sigh I reached down and unclipped their leashes. Arrow bolted off in deep purpuist of a butterfly. Hereshy strolled behind her. I ran after the two. I found Arrow rolling around in a patch of mud. Hereshy wrinkled his nose. "Arrow!"
Arrow looked up at me. She gave me what could have been a sheepish grin. She got up and tried to rub off on me, like she does to the poor couch. It's a huge napkin for her. I jumped back out of range, "Stop it Arrow!"
Ignoring me like usaul she started to shake herself, the mud flying off her pelt in a million different directions. Mud was flung into my eyes, "Uggg!!"
Arrow bakred happily and Hereshy tryed to maintain a straight through a ghost smile crawled up his furry face. I stomped off, but not before clipping them both back onto the their leashes. Suddenly a silver bullet shot out, I braced myself. A squirrel. Of course I'm not scared of squirrels! Arrow tugged and bolted foward. I tryed to dig in my heels into the earthy soil but it gave in. "Arrow!! Stop!!!!!!!!!!".
Ignoring my yells she bolted off. Before I knew it I was sprinting to keep up with her. I seriously didn't want to fall on my face and be dragged away. "Arrow!! STOP!"
Arrow's only response was to tugg harder. Hereshy was running beside me also trying to keep up. Soon we were racing into a thick forest. I felt my foot catching on a root, "STOP!"
I fell over, dragging my two dogs with me. Toghter we all rolled down a long steep hill. My face brushed countless flowers, I turned my body trying to get back up. We were going too fast. All I succeded in was turning us. Instead of rolling on soft green grass and flowers we started rolling on hard rough stone. Toghter we manged to stop. When I opended my eyes I could barely tell the differance. If you put your hand if frount of your face you wouldn't even be able to see it. Blinking trying to get find some light. It was damp and cold, I shivered. I started to explore my surroundings by patting the floor in front of me, the noise made eerie echos. I touched something furry....wait furry?!!? I jumped back, in fear falling backwards. I winced as I landed hardly on my shoulder. I bite back another groan as I landed into a puddle. The water splashed everywhere, usaully the sound would have been so little I wouldn't have paid it much attention, but since we were in a cave you could hear the echos rebounding along the cave walls. A whimper rang through the cave, I smiled remebering that Arrow and Hereshy were here too. I groped around searching my pockets and mini back pack. My finger found my water bottle, no......was that dog treats? Coins jingled as I quickly found a couple of quaters. Umm... my flash had to be here..somewhere..as I mentioned before I am a little bit messy.....yes! My flashlight, blindly I went over the flashlight trying to find the switch. Finding it I flipped it. The light blasted out of it. I gasped in surppise and I heard Arrow and Hereshy scramble backwards. Caught Capitive by the flashlight's beam was...well what was it? Squinting I tryed to figure it out, wait it looked familar, a rune dragon! "A rune dragon..." I breathed in awe. These were a rare species indeed. What was one doing here? I had no idea. The rune dragon had a dreamy look on her face, starring right into the beam of light. Frowning, why was it starring right into it? Shouldn't it be looking away, or shading her eyes? Well it should have been, though insteed she looked right into the light, not even blinking. Grabbing my back pack I found my sandwitch and pulled it out offering it to her. I heard Arrow take a step foward to snatch up the treat though Hereshy blocked her and fended her off. Frowning I noticed that my sandwitch had dissapeared. My eyes wandered over to the rune dragon there she stood tearing my sandwitch apart. She seemed to enjoy the lettuce and tomatoes more than the free range ham. She tore in apart, bits of tomatoe and lettuce littered the floor next to her. She shook her head trying to get a bit of lettuce out of her feathers. She threw a tiny fit, shaking her head furiously and making hight pitched chrips of annoyance. The bit of lettuced flew out hitting Hereshy smash in the chest. His eyes wandered downwards. He yipped and flung the lettuce into the darnkness where it was soon swallowed up by the darkness. I noticed that, almost recuently she stepped out of the light. I followed the rune to find it muching on some fungus. It glowed on contact, a ghostly green glow seemed to errupt off it. Slurping it up, she pranced up to me, making small little sounds, I put my arm out inviting her onto it. She didn't hesiate, hopping on in the blink of a eye. I smiled and herdering my two lovely dogs away. ¨Huh? Didn´t we just past this rock?¨I asked to no one in particular. Hereshy looked at me nervously and even Arrow seemed anxious. Spooks, what? She needs a name! So I´ve decided to name her Spooks because she totally spooked me when I first saw her. Anyways Spooks shook her littl head. Making a hight pitched click, she flutters down, lands gently on the floor and pulls up one of her white talons and indicates to a small passagage. Frowning I bend over doubtfly, it looks realy small...but I guess it would explain our bumpy ride down here. She chrips again at my hesiatiation. ¨Arrow, Hereshy come!¨For once Arrow listens to me and follows me. Hereshy at her tail. Bending over I crawl through, Spooks gives me a nudge. ¨I´m going alright!¨ I feel another nudge. I roll my eyes. Droplets of freezing cold water drips from the ceiling, I feel myself shiver when a fat drop falls down my neck and dribbles it´s way down my back. The stone is damp, and a feel a cool breeze greeting us. Usaully I would have been delighted, since it was so hot. Now I wish that breeze would greet someone different, this ¨breeze¨was chilling me to the bone. I felt two warm bodied press up against me, much to big to be Spooks. So they were defaintly Arrow and Hereshy. I felt them both shiver too, I guess they were also feeling the cold. Shinning my flashlight behind me I caught a glimpse of Spooks that pranced behind us. Not look uncomfortable in the least. She seemed to enjoy splashing in the puddles and making happing clicking noises. THough she didn ruffle her feathers as the breeze swept fast her, apart from that she seemed happy. A small light appeared in the distance. Scrambling as fast as I could to scampered over, Arrow and Hereshy bounding after me and Spooks taking a ride on Hereshy, after being rejected by Arrow. Pushing my way through I was almost momentairly blinded by the bright lights. I grin happily, I am so happy to be out of that damp cold wet cave. I turn around to see Arrow and Hereshy bolting away yipping happily. Chasing each other and play fighting. I turn around to check on Spooks, I expected to see her squeaking and shading her eyes. I mean she has lived all her life in complete darkness. Spooks is giving me a sheepish grin and looking happy. Then she frowns and darts under my legs and peeks out behind it. Spooks is in my shadow and starring into the sunshine. I smile I have found a rune, even though I wasn't explorer. )

[size=85] ( Well I have adored this species ever seen I've seen them. I've had them bookmarked for such a long time. I have only gone for one rune, though I think I like this one better,anyways I lost. This one is just beatiful. She is completely stunning I love this idea, living in a cave. I don't think I've seen a rune that glows yet, xD and this makes her unique. Ever rune to me has something unique, though this one's I didn't have to look hard to find it. I love animals that glow <3, plus I also saw that this beauty has no pupils. Mostly I wouldn't like it much but on this desgin it adds up. Since I mentioned her having no pupils, I'll point out something else about her beatiful eyes. Well they are stunning. They are the most pretty shade of green I think I've seen. The marking on her wing is great too. To me it resambles a cave, hopfully thats what it is. I looks great. The glow surrounding her is beatiful. This girl is simply stunning. All these things I have listed make her, some beatiful and unique I doubt I wouldn´t have been able to resist her. xD Something about her makes me want to own her, to feature her on my signature. Though I´d like to say good luck to everyone )

(I don't think I'll RP her, since I don't have time for them, though she will get plenty of love from me! She'd no doubt have a special spot reserved for her in my siggy. She'd also become a charrie that I will never forget. So of course she'd have to be featured on my character page. She'd get a special post just for her. Now I think I would absoutely love to get her, her very own thread but I think I'd lose track on it. Dx So until I become more organized she'll have to do with staying on my character page. I'm sorry, I just don't want it to get lost and that I'll never find it again! Toghter Arrow Hereshy and our new friend Spooks, walked home. Then I stopped dead before my house. What was I going to do? How would I explain to my mom that I found a rune dragon??! She'd never believe me! Even if she did, what are the chances that she'd let me keep Spooks? Like 0. I bit my lip, Arrow and Hereshy whinned loudly. Even Spooks looked a little nervous. Well what do you do when you can't explain something? Don't explain. That meant going behind my moms back. I'd be in so much trouble if my mom found out, but I wouldn't get caught, well at least hopefully. "Impro!" I snatched up Spooks in a flash. She sqwaked in surpise and put her in my back pack, not before saying "I'm sorry Spooks!" Spooks let out another sqawk to tell me that she was unhappy. Grappling with the lock I opended the fence and walked through the hedges to get to my house. I turned the doorknob. Nothing. I knocked.......? I knocked again..............I knocked again, much louder this time. When I was rewarded with nothing I bended over to ring the doorbell. I jabbed my finger at it,the doorbell produced a sharp, annoying ring. Another sqawk from Spooks. "Spooks! You have to be quiet!" I hissed into the backpack. I leanded on the door waiting for the door to open. Pressing my ear(remeber this is my house! I am not a stalker! ), I thought I heard footsteps. "Gahhhh!" The door opended, since I was leaning on it, I was left with nothing. I manged to brake my fall. Burning at my smooth fall I stepped through. My backpack accidentadly bumped into the doorway. I heard a sqawk, I winced and stepped through quicker, grabbing my back pack and pressing it against my chest I ran upstairs, I only got halfway through,
"Hmmmmm...I think you are forgetting something! Make that two!" My mom said raising a eyebrow.
Burning, I ran down the stairs flung my old sneakers down, they smashed into the door leaving clumps of dirt there. The rest of dirt sprayed the carpet. Mom's glared at me, "clean that up, and before you go where is my hello?" she asked
"Oh, sorry, Hi?"
Before she can complain I leapt up to my room, throwing myself across my bed, with a sigh. "Hey!Oww! Quit it! Knock it off Spooks!" I yell when my bag starts punching me, thrashing around. My door slams open,
"Whats going on here?"
"Ummmm..Nothing?"
She frowns as my bag starts to quiver even so slighty. I press it closer, effectively immobolizing Spooks. Her eyes narrow and I sigh in relif as she leaves. The second the door close I bolt foward scrambling with the lock. I manged(by know you should know I'm pretty clumsy! xD) to lock the door. I unzip my bag. A white bundle of feathers rockets out. Almost crashing into the door because she was going so fast. She stops milameteres away from the door. Her green eyes widen and she spins aound and lets out a peircing click. "Cut it out! Spooks! You want to get caught? Do you want to?!"
Spooks gives me a a evil grin that suggest shes got a plan, which of course she doesnt. Then she notices the light bulb, cranning her neck she goes out to stare at it. Mouth wide open. "Spooks it's just a lightbulb you'll find them every where! Seriously, in every room in this house we have some, "
Spooks eyes grow wide, her mouth opens even more, "Oh-"
I'm not even given a chance to finish my sentace, Spooks is racing towards the door, I lunge attempting to grab her before she can go get me into more trouble. I miss( I know, I know) I land heavily a few inches from her. She glances back at me, tipps her head back and cackles with laughter. "no," I finish my sentance.
In a flash that little rune gets to the door. I jump up onto my feet and lunge again, this time I grab her. She sqawks in surpise, I push myself up with my elbows since my hands have other problems, holding Spooks without getting bitten. I jump into bed and lay her under the covers. She gives me a smile and snuggles up. I lean in to her and whisper, "You got to stay there, got it? No sounds, no nothing, got it?"
Spooks is already asleep. I punch the air and silently say "Yes!"
"Dinner!" my mom yells, but I'm already running down the stairs. Dinner was good, I sneak some veggies and a little bit of meat in my napkin and run upstairs. I slam the door open, turning I lock the door and shake poor Spooks awake. She makes a high pitched shrieck, "okay, you don't like that," I mutter putting my hands to my ears trying to block out the sound. Feeding her the food, she squeals in delight and throws herself into the air, shrieking in delight. She flys through my room. Barely manging to avoid crashing into the fan. I laugh, it was kinda funny. She soon flutters down onto the floor and gives me a stern glare. Obviously she isn't happy with my laughter, smilling I put my hands up. She sqawks and attacks my stomach head butting me, "Hey! Ow- knock it off Spooks!"
Of course I'm ignored. Soon it's time to go to bed, changing into my PGs I walk to my bed and turn the lights off. It's all good, for like a second before a shrill cry wakes me up. I run to the light switch turnning it on. I see Spooks trembling. I feel sorry for her, I guess she craves the light and won't let it go so easily. With a sigh I say "Wait here Spooks,"
She crys. I run down the stairs ignoring a stern look from my mom. I go to the closet, where he store all the hoilday stuff, "Halloween, halloween,..where'd it go? Ahha! Halloween!" I grab a aqua blue glow stick and bring it up for Spooks. My mom raises a eyebrow at the glow stick, I give her a weak smile and sprint upstairs. Turning off the lights. A shrill hight pitched cry starts to raise though her blind eyes find the glow stick. It races towards it, getting tangled in my bed sheets in the process. Spooks grabs it with her talons and presses it close. I reach down though she hisses like a cat at me, rolling my eyes I say " Spooks I'm going to put it on,"
She whimpers and I pull the glow stick away(it took forever she didn't want to give it up!) I put it around her neck. Why the glow stick? I gave Spooks the glow stick so she can have light in even the darkest times.
Just a little short story, xD I had fun writting it and I would love to call Spooks my own, I'm waiting for some art to come.

How you found this Rune:
i was wandering along a beach when it began to storm. I ran down the strech of sand in search of shelter and i found a dark old cave. once inside i passed out from physical exhaustion. when i woke i was trapped inside by large boulders. I noticed a strange glow emanating from deeper inside the cave. When i worked up the courage too go towards it, it disappeared, relocating itself deeper. I was now running until finally it stayed in place. i slowed and crouched down moving towards it slowly. In the darkness i managed too make out a head, tail and two wings. i put out my hand and it rubbed against me and purred happily. it came with me too the cave entrance that night. we slept there and in the morning i noticed the dragon not with me it was ramming itself against the boulders and i managed to see it knock one loose. I praised it and we climbed out together. From there we were inseparable

i think it is beautiful and quite original. i love the tufts on the mouth and the blue glow around it.also the frills on the wings and the tail remind me of a plant in my favourite children's book, Uno's garden. also i find the eyes unique and intriguing

Now, it was hard to choose between a male and female. As I thought of caves and rock, I thought of males, who are strong (Now, girls are too, so that wasn't going to make her a male.). Trying to think, I looked at her detail and colors, which reminded me of angels and harmony. As I looked at the details, I saw her eyelashes and elegant wings. The elegance and angelic look, though, made me turn the most towards female, as she is now.
Personality:
Caring
Spectrum is extremely affectionate to those she knows and trusts, which is mainly her owner. If they feel lonely or depressed, she will cuddle up to them in an attempt to cheer them up. Her heart is affectionate like this because her owner gives Spectrum love, to.
Clumsy (In lots of light)
Because of being blind, even with echolocation, Spectrum is clumsy in the light. It is mainly because her skin is not made for the sun, and the sensation of the light, even with sunscreen, makes her feel off balance. Because of this, she will stagger around when she is walking and bump into objects when flying in the daytime.

How you found this Rune:
I moaned as the hot, brightening sun shone on my sleeping body as I lay in my plush, white bed. I had hardly gotten any sleep- It's hard to when you are vacationing in the middle of nature. I was used to the rushing, blaring car noises zooming past the street that I heard as I drifted to sleep, not the utter silence of a log cabin environment. I saw the clock- 6 A.M. I stretched my body, lifted out of bed, and walked over by my closet to get dressed. Since I was going outside that day, I chose black, rugged shorts and a top full of stains. I ran over to the screen door, opened it, got on my crocs, and ran on the dirt road to pick up the mail.
I saw a letter, addressed, "To ****** (My name stays a secret....)." I opened the letter.

The name was scratched out at the end. Strange. I had remembered I donated a few dollars and items to support the exciting rune dragon expeditions. Then, In utter terror, I realized right then it WAS June 21st! I quickly wrote a note saying I was going to go on an adventure and packed up my things- Band aids, bug repellent, poison cure, extra clothes, a compass, and other things- and set off to the Crystal Waterfall.
After searching immensely, I finally found the waterfall. Looking at my compass, I turned east and trekked on to finally find the cave- Small, with many crevices and sharp edges. "Was I ready? Could I handle the cave and find a rune- or LIVE?" I thought. "Well, I have gotten this far." I climbed into the small cave entrance and started to search.
Hours passed searching through the twists and turns, and soon my bones began to feel weary. It was pitch black and I had not found one living thing, and my chances of finding anything were fading- and so was my chance of living. I kneeled as high as I could and realized a horrible thing- I had made myself lost. There were 6 openings which I could barely make out, and none showed light. I crouched into a ball in terror, and started to weep with fear. "Help! Please! Someone!" I screamed. At that moment, I knew no one was there- no one had discovered it except two people, as far as I knew. I closed my eyes as tears dripped down, and stayed there, balling fearfully.
I opened my eyes slowly, fearing what I would see, and saw a strange little rune facing me. It was white with glowing neon blue, yellow, and green markings, with a marking of rocks and a fuzzy mouth. Its wings were strange- frillish, actually- and its head and tail were different, too. It's eyes were glowing neon and blue, with no pupil, seeming to stare into nothingness. It seemed to sense my sadness, and cuddled up to me.
"Thank you..." I said meaningfully. "But I'm trapped, and need to get to the surface."
My heart broke as the rune ran away into one of the openings.
"Skree!!"
Was It calling to me? Was it showing me the exit? With high hopes, I crawled after the light of its tail. As it showed me the way, I saw an opening with glittering lights. Full of joy, relief, and thankfulness, I entered the opening, only to see a wide open cave room glittering jewels and gemstones. The rune smiled at me. I realized what It wanted me to see- Its gem hoard. I knew the rune had good intentions, but I frowned. Not at the rune- But that I may have been trapped forever. The rune, sensing my disappointment, walked a little further to the only other opening in the room, with the fresh view of daylight.
My smile had grown to a mammoth size. "Thank you, little rune! Thank you!" I waved goodbye and exited the cave. In the glows of sunshine, I saw the scrapes and bruises on my body. I sighed. At least I survived. But wait- I was WEST of the waterfall, right next to my house. A secret entrance I had discovered! Wow! Suddenly, I felt something soft on my legs. I looked below to see the same little rune, cuddling me to make my cuts feel better. I thought at that moment it loved me and wanted to be with me forever. I hesitated to let the rune- I mean the cave IS its home, and I'm only living there for a tiny portion of the summer. And plus, it can't even see!! I thought to myself, "I should test to see if this rune will stay with me anywhere."
I petted her fur softly and walked more towards the sun. I could see the rune's eyes- confused and bleary. It reminded me of the autism spectrum- sometimes having trouble with communicating and learning and other aspects.
Surprisingly, at the last moment, I saw the rune was bonded to me, for she flew up onto my shoulder and perched, but had trouble finding my elbow.. I saw through those pupil-less eyes caring and love for me. Again, the name was scratched out. Well, reading the letter, I realized me and the rune could be best companions. Two things, though, had to be solved: What gender was my new rune and what should I name it? At first, I was lost on how to tell its gender. Then, I remembered when I was in the cave as I looked into its eye- Eyelashes. Long eyelashes. I looked into its eye again and saw them up close- I had saw many male rune dragons with their owners before, and none ever had eyelashes like these, but the females did. Then, I finally found out my little rune was a girl. My eyes were still fixed onto her eyes, when a memory of the autism spectrum flashed into my mind again. Spectrum. It sounded like a beautiful name. I didn't know why, but the name Spectrum stuck into my mind until I finally chose my final option. Spectrum the rune.
I heard my guardian's car go into the driveway and park into the garage, and told them my adventure earlier that day.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
She is just.... elegant. Her body is not too scattered with immense details and such, and her markings and glow are the perfect touch that give such an angelic, mysterious look. Plus, with her having no pupil, her eye is so.. unique, with so many feelings that you can find. She is amazing.... line edits and all. The line edits.... they seem so simple, but are just the extra, strange touch a rune that almost never wanders alone in daylight needs. They also make her look elegant, cute, and strange. I could just imagine her at my side in caves.. exploring the deep crevices as she comforts me when I feel the most fearful. I just love her so much I could work on her form day and night so we can be together.
What will you do with him/her:
I may or may not go in the RP, but I'll put her in my siggy and charrie thread when I'm un-coppa'd. I would probably make a whole thread for her, and cover it with art and her offspring/mates.

Well, to start with, it was that he's white. I've been looking for a male of pure white to breed my Tmavy to since I got her, and he fits that bill perfectly. But as I came closer, he just really won me over. His wings, his eyes, his colors and rune... remarkable. Truly a remarkable Rune Dragon.

What will you do with him/her:
He will be written about, along with both my other Runes. Someday, I will sit down, and write up the entire story of all their lives, and how they came to be together. He may get Rped with, depending upon if I ever get time, and will most likely appear in my art from time to time. c;

Would you like to breed him/her in the future:
His first breeding will no doubt go to Tmavy, for me to keep the young one.
His final breeding, however, will go to a certain rune, one who really catches my attention.

Chaos is a wise little animal. He is a bit quiet, but almost birdlike if he wants to be. He, of course, hates the sun, yet is drawn to its warmth, and he can be very stubborn. Even as mysterious as he is, it is obvious that he is fairly powerful, and not afraid of anything. He knows things the moment he sees things occasionally. He isn't an arrogant Rune, however he is very sure of himself and loves attention. Although he is blind, his echolocation is very precise- in fact, he could look me straight in the eye if he wanted to. One of his favorite things to do is snuggle on my shoulder and neck, and listen to my heartbeat.
How you found this Rune:
I had always wanted to see the stalactite caves in Isreal. They were enormous, with huge spearpoints of rock jumping out of the ground and growing taller each time you came! I'd always wanted to see them in person. You could say they're my obsession of the month. After all, I am a bit of an amateur photographer, and I really wanted to go see a cool place to take pictures at. But i loved the stalactites.
And they were the only thing on my mind at breakfast right now. I was absentmindedly attempting to roll a pancake into a stalactite and failing, while eating another and making a note in a book I was reading. Sort of. Not really....but still! The note was failed, and I erased it, turned and reread the entire page, then made the note. I'm not always the best at multitasking. Anyway, it was five days until my birthday, and the only things I could think of would be impossible: a trip to the Israel stalactite caves, or a Rune Dragon. My parents hated pets, and we live in Nebraska. So my birthday seemed pretty glum.
Then, three days to my birthday, my parents and I had a private little meeting. They told me that they'd bought plane tickets to a town near the mountains that the stalactite caves were located in! I couldn't believe it, and they told me to pack light, because we'd be there for two days, the day before my birthday and my birthday. I didn't believe it! We were leaving tomorrow!! I ran upstairs and packed a few flashlights, several batteries, three changes of clothes, a couple of books, a Rune book, and my pocketknife. Then, going to sleep, I smiled. Maybe my birthday wouldn't be so bad after all.
We left early in the morning, and although my brother was half asleep (along with my dad) my mom and I were wide awake. This would be so cool! I had my camera in hand, although we were only going to the airport as of right now. I couldn't wait. The airplane ride was uneventful, but when we got there, I wondered how a place could even be so hot. Israel is in the Middle East, but wow. It was hot. It would be good to get inside those caves. Or an air conditioned area.
Our first day was fairly uneventful, but the stalactites ROCKED!! They were just so cool. I took many pictures and rested up. I figured next year I'll ask to go to Ireland. Pretty green hills, stone walls, castles, whats not to like?Tomorrow, my birthday!
Well, I had been searching the caves for a few hours, and I wandered off from the guide. I was a bit nervous, but not too much. I could always yell for help. I was checking out a pretty reddish stalactite when my flashlight started flickering. No, no, no... I thought. The only other flashlight I had was a penlight, and heaven knows they're tiny. Grr. As the flashlight slowly died on me, I pulled out the penlight and suddenly heard rustling. I froze. Bats didn't normally live so close to the open, but I had gone a bit deeper. Still...I hoped they weren't bats. I'm not squeamish, but I didn't exactly favor the idea of bats flying past me and brushing me, or attacking me. I slowly curled up a bit, turning on my penlight. Then, hearing nothing, I uncurled and moved the penlight around quickly and heard screeching. That wasn't a bat call...I turned the penlight off and waited for my eyes to adjust. Eventually, I made out a light colored bird shape, along with dozens of others. My eyes widened. Rune Dragons! I'd never heard of these before. One hopped up to me, its blind eyes boring into mine. i waited, and eventually, they all came up, pecking at me a bit and checking me out. I wished they weren't so hating of light, which I had guessed as a result to their reaction to my penlight. Otherwise I could use the flash and take a picture of them or two. Suddenly, one hopped on my shoulder and snuggled right next to my neck. I was surprised, and in the dim light from the opening, far away, I could see the little Rune had beautiful wings and yellow, green and blue coloring. And on one of its wings there was a chasm-like marking. Carefully, I went to pick him up with my hand. I didn't know how I knew it was a boy, I just did. The Rune, Rainbow of Chaos, I'd decided to call him, looked up at me with his rainbowy luminescent eyes and allowed himself to be picked up, then seemed to-almost-chirp something to his fellow Runes. They all made a small chorus of sounds back, and backed away from me. I slowly stood up, aware that maybe Chaos wanted to come with me. "Would you like to come with me?" I asked him quietly, and I could have sworn he nodded. Carefully slipping him into my jacket pocket (to protect him from the light), I headed for the entrance. I knew that mom and dad wouldn't be happy, but I wasn't going to take no for an answer. Chaos was going to be my Rune.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
I love the colors. I love all tropical colors, but what interested me more was the strangely ominous looking black hole-ish thing on the side of the Rune's wing.
What will you do with him/her:
I definitely plan on adding the Rune to a roleplay of mine that involves my fursona, Torn Rainbow. It was a funny coincidence that they are similar in name.

How you found this Rune:
I was walking through the woods, i was in whales, i loved it in whales, where grandma lives, she owns a little cottage by the sea and she has a friendly little spaniel. "Daaad, can we go back now?" I moaned, we had gone on a long walk through watermead forest, near the cottage we had gone in a loop about three miles all round. "We'll be there in a second." Dad sighed. I trudged through the mud, which happened to be splattered up my aching legs. i looked up then, and i saw a path leading off the main path, it had ferns and all sorts growing over it. But, it intrigued me still. "Actually dad, you go ahead, i just want to see whats down here." I walked forwards curiously. "Fine, i'll be in the car when you come back." He said in his deep gentle voice, then he strode away. i waited untill i couldnt hear him, and then, i pushed my way through the ferns, and nettles, and trod on a mushroom. "Oh my..!" I gasped suddenly, i stopped moving, ahead, through the trees, i saw a massive cave, i couldnt see inside it, and, it actually looked rather scary, but still, i walked on nervously, it was like there was a magnetic force that was pulling me in. Curiosity overcame my fear, i slowly, carefuly walked inside. Once i was in, i could only just see the outline of the stalagmites and stalagtites. Then, out of no-where, a large, glowing white flying thing zoomed over my shoulder, and swooped through a opening up ahead. I jumped backwards, and i tripped. I wasnt hurt so i got up, and climbed through the opening, into another cave, it was smaller than the other one. I saw the white thing, it was sitting on a thing on the wall that looked a bit liked a bird bath. It stood up higher, and looked down at me, like it despised me, and it was the leader of me. I slowly walked closer, amazed at the beautifull thing, and as i got closer, i realised it was, a Rune Dragon. "I've never seen a rune like you before." I gazed at it in awe.
And, thats how i met Emerald.

Obviously, her pure beauty, and, i found this forum the other day, and i browsed it, reading carefully, and i came across this rune, and of cause, i clicked it straight away, and said out loud. "Omg, i must have this!" (I actually did, lol)

Crystal purred in amusment, "Emerald, you silly thing, you wont like that." She chuckled, Emerald was tilting her head, watching a slug, she licked it, she then sat there, licking her mouth for a while, trying to get the slime out. Crystal shook her head, smiling, come on, how about we go to the pond? you like it there, you can go diving for fish." She padded on through the forest. The forest was in full bloom, flowers everwhere, bee's buzzing busily about. Butterflys flying high above the sky. Emerald jumped into the air, she flew low down, close to Crystal, she didnt like flying high, she had bumped into things a number of times."Look, there it is." Crystal bounded forwards towards the pond. Emerald followed, she landed on the edge, she quickly bent down for a drink, and then dived in. Crystal sat back, watching emerald fly through the water after fish. after a short amount of time, Emerald emerged and landed on a lilly pad, with a small, limp fish dangling from her mouth. She gulped it down imedietly, giving crystal a look that said, "You catch your own, this ones mine." Crystal laughed. "Honestly Emerald, you dont even give me a scale?" Emerlad glanced at crystal, looking slightly ashamed, but, she bent down, and another small fish came up for a drink, Emerald stuck her head in, and came out with it in her mouth, half alive. Emerald threw it to crystal, then went in for another swim. "Thanks." Crystal bent down and started eating.
Also, Emerald, when she's curious or very happy, she makes these little clicking noises, and likes to tilt her head slightly to the left.

It was a cold day, me and my dog were going to get some black berry's in the forest. The clouds looked heavy as I walked on to the bushes. It starts to snow,{It's about thanksgiving time.} as I pull my jacket, I here a crack, before I can move I fall into a cave. I can here my dog barking out side of the dark hole. I reach for my flash light, but I pick up something feathery. It cry's out and starts to glow! I now cry out for help!!! The little bird like thing falls to the floor. I run to see what happened..."Ow, your on my tail!" it cry's. "You can talk?" I say trying to get of her tail. "Bu-bu-bu- your and animal!" I say stading up then falling again. "Well, yes I'm a animal!" she says with a growl. "I'm a Rune Dragon, my name is Killuseza." she said looking at my kindly. "Hi, Killuseza, I'm Fire&Ice!" I say laffing. My dog gite help and we were taken out of the cave. I should ervrey one my new pet. In my books I always end with the best of my days were with Killuseza.

How you found this Rune:
I moved over to the path that led away from the little cottage. My parents were completely asleep so I did not have to worry about their anger of me leaving the house.I soon left the beaten path tomove deeper into the forest, a shortcut tomy destination. When the dark ground turned to grass, i paused.The soft sounds of the night was breathtaking. The chirps, the rustling, the sound of the soft breeze . It was wonderfully calming.
But that was not what I left my comfortably warm bed for.
The light sounds of the waves rolling to shore reached my ears and I sighed. I was near it. The sight of the sliver of moon glinting of the waves, and the familiar black rocks made it clear that I was near it.
The dark mout of the cave loomed over me. The void-like circle in this setting gave it an air of mystery. Just what was this cave doing here? I have no idea myself. But it was a shelter for me from the start. I knew this cave well. No one else seemed to bother taking a stroll off the path to the woods. This was my refuge, mine and mine alone. I practically memorized what rock was where and how to navigate through it to a smaller cave, blocked by ferns.
Carefully I made my way into the cold cave and navigated my way trough it. A right, then another right. Duck, left, jump over that, move theft rock there, Ouch! That must have fallen last night or something. I continued over to where the cave wall was covered by roots and leaves. Continuing on, the wall of ferns was slightly visible thanks to a slight crack in the cave wall. I pushed it aside and there it was.
It was filled with my favorite things. Pillows, Herb Garden-scented candles, blankets, and a small can of assorted cookies.I didn't light a single candle, because I found solace in the dark.
The dark was a wonderful thing. It let me be calm and think. It didn't bother me or annoy me. It was slightly cold, but that is one of the best qualities it has. If you're hot, it cools you down. If you're angry, it helps you be calm. It also helps you be mysterious, it even holds mysterious things. I built a small fort out of pillows and buried my self in it.
"Scree!"
I involuntarily jumped. I was dreadfully afraid. What was that?
"Scree!"
I peeked out of my fort to see a small creature-I think it's a rune dragon- with it's head tilted to the side, an amused look on it's face, it's wings,head,and tail were glowing. I crawled out of my small shelter and lit up the small array of candles and saw her in a better light. I looked back, only to find her gone.
"Ahh!"
She scared me! She appeared at my back and tickled me! She gave an amused squeal at me scared face,and soon after I smiled too.
She became my best friend in the dark world.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
She's absolutely beautiful. The way her rune just stands out from her body is perfect. Her colors are great. I love her a lot. I've also wanted a rune dragon for a long time. After figuring out if I should try out for her, her is my form.
What will you do with him/her:
I plan to RP with her when I am able to. I also plan to make art, just not digitally.

I stroked her head and decided to go home. She flew towards my blanket. She looked at me, as if waiting to be picked up." oh all right" I mumbled and carried her along with the blue blanket underneath it. She only chirped quietly as I picked her up. The night was quieter than usual. She jumped off the blanket at one point, observing the surroundings. She didn't seem to be looking at anything. As we finally reached the house, she flew back in my arms. I quietly took out the key from my pockets and opened the door. She didn't seem to be tired at all. She didn't stop moving around until she reached my bedroom, a simple blue room with a single window. "you look so pretty with all your colors, and you have no name," I whispered."Iri-Iridesent. iridescent...murmur, that's your name!" she only tilted her head again and chirped. Moving into my bed, Iri followed me.
This was the only night I was able to sleep without a single thought at the forefront of my mind.
