EDIT)) I've finally chosen; I'd love to name her Murmur, a name that Lichenfeather suggested back when I was holding a contest to name Vretiel.

Due to her parents, one being named after a bird, and the others name stating a devastating victory, I was looking for a name that sort of encompassed these two ideas. Also, with her wing markings, I really wanted a name that related to wings. Then I started thinking. Her wing markings almost look like they are broken, and loosing feathers. Along with the fact a victory that can almost not be called a victory would weigh down on the soul, I started looking at names of fallen angels. After looking through many names, I finally found one that caught my fancy. According to this site, the name Murmur was that of a fallen angel. Murmur was a great duke of Hell, and when he manifested, he appeared as a warrior mounted on a griffin. This holds all the elements I was looking for, as well as being a soft, almost gentle name. It is a name that captures the quiet look of the mare, yet also holds untold strength and power.
