My favorite thing about Christmas is the whole idea of coming together, not to mention all the fun carols! I feel like I especially appreciate this time of year because we can put things aside and appreciate all the people in, and around our lives, as well as help those in need- spread Holiday cheer!

"Making Gingerbread houses! Every year my friends and family help host a Christmas party fundraiser for members of our community in need. One of the events is to decorate Gingerbread houses, which in the end, we give out. The entry fee is a donation of a few cans of food and there is not necessarily a literal prize, only ribbons recognizing what someone's entry expressed best, but for everyone who helps out, they win the pride of knowing they helped people for the holidays!"
