Ghosts are real. They exist. And I, for one will prove it even if no one else will.
For my entire life there was something different, the world, for me, was different since I was born, since I could think, since I could see. Since I could see them. The ghosts. I can't explain it, and no body else even believes it so it's up to me.
Sorren can, under certain circumstances, see ghosts. He can't here them, communicate with them, fell them, but he can and always has been able to see them. But, unsurprisingly, he hasn't met a live soul who has believed him. So, what is his 'life goal'? To prove them all wrong.

"Remind me why we're doing this again?"
After a few minutes of Declan getting his gear ready, the voice of his older sister, nimue, echoed through the dark and empty cave. They were hiding out due to panic over the arrival of a storm. Nimue was shocked to hear that her little brother wanted get close to it. No matter how many times she reiterated her thoughts of it being a really bad idea, he brushed her off.
"No need to be scared, sis. I'll protect you." Declan responded with a smirk, fastening the camera onto his head.
"First of all, I'm not scared. It's you who's always worrying" Nimue argued. "Second of all, do you really think that camera is going to make it while you go running through that storm like a lunatic?"
"I'm not running through it, I'm chasing it." Declan responded. "And no, I don't think it'll make it, which is exactly why you're here. I need an eye witness."
Nimue shook her head and let out a heavy sigh. There he goes again, trying to prove himself. All the gators in the area thinks Declan is a coward and always teases him about it, and he's been desperate to prove them wrong, although none of his previous efforts have worked.
"Okay, let's go to the entrance and wait for it to get really intense." Declan said, before heading off towards the cave entrance. Nimue trudged after him, the splish-splash of water echoing through the cave.
Once the storm had arrived, Nimue tried to talk her brother out of it one last time, but before she could get any words out, he had already taken off.
"You better get me that crystal you promised." Nimue muttered to herself, before chasing after her brother into the storm.

Cobalt grew up surrounded by machinery and cars, and so it was only natural for him to take up Motorcycle racing when he was old enough, and he Loved it, not only that but he was Good at it! This was new for him, Cobalt had never excelled at much else then putting together machines and coding the programming to go with those machines. But now, he had something unique that he threw his very heart into daily. Building his own motor bike, learning how to do tricks, how to race the best he could, and in the end it paid off. He became renowned among the local motor racing community, and his goal became clear, go undefeated for an entire season, win every competition and seal the title of world champion. He may have a long way to go, but he's the kind of goblin who never gives up, hes stubborn, hard headed, and would never let one bad race keep him down.
