short story;
Mick grabbed their grilled cheese sandwich and gently peeled off the top piece of bread, watching the cheese stretch in long strands, before biting through it. The cheesy strings dangled from their jaws, and mick giggled, they looked like a cat's whiskers! He bit the bread, and suddenly a bee landed on it. They set the piece down and picked up the other one, but before they could eat it, two more bees came and landed on it. They blew on the bees, and thankfully they flew away. They leaned in to take a bite, but nearly seven or eight bees were buzzing around their head. Grumbling, Mick swatted them away and continued eating. Not a minute later, the air was thick with the noisy buzzing of hundreds of bees. A sharp pain in their knee and another in their arm told Mick it was time to go. Abandoning their lunch, they dashed away as fast as they could. This is the last time Mick would be eating their lunch in this park.
