Rules:
1. You can adopt 2 hippocampuses a week
2. If you didn't get the hippocampus you wanted don't be rude and worse begg the new ownerfor his/hers hippocampus
3. If you order an custom don't bug the artist when it will be done, we have a life of the computer!
4. Don't bother the artist when the pre-mades will come out
5. When ordering a custom and you don't get the artist you wanted do NOT be rude, it's mean and hurtfull
6. You can use your hippocampus as your charrie, just give credit to the artist that made it

Welcome to Hippocampus adoptables!
You may have heard of these mythical creatures but now you can adopte one!
Above is my very own one her name is Mystic, just to clear things up she is NEVER going to be for adoption. MINE! And she is female! Since she is female she will ocasonially have a calf for adoption! Artists PM about her calf.
Every now and then new hippocampuses will go up for adoption, and it's first come first serve and 100% free so everyone has a shot!

About the Specie:
These creatures live in any waters, though most commonly(this is my own thinking) seen in tropical waters.
They are extremly rare and hard to find, probaly due that they only breed every 25 years(When I start breeding you won't have to wait 25 years don't worry!).
Another reason why they are hard to find because they are will flee at any sigh of human activity.
Sadly they are dissapering at alarming rate. Human activity is to blame, humans over-fish(fish makes up 25% of their diet). Pollution isn't helping either. Hippocampus have a very limited diet, fish(25%), underwater vegations(50%) and jellyfish(25%). Because of human activty food is becoming hard to find, espically fish. To help conserve this magestic and divine species you can adopte one for free!(read more about adopting, and it's rules below)
In the breeding season they gather in great groups attracting each other using songs and the bulbs on their horns. They make it glow in a really nice flashy patterns.
This graceful creature will mate for life. When getting read for the new calf, the new pair of love birds find and place for their unborn baby to call it´s home till the baby is old enough to take care of itself.
Shipwrecks are favourites! The pair will travel great distances just to find a suitable home.
