We run slightly differently than before.
1: Each ambie has an ID, but automatically into its form, so don't worry about that - except make sure you get he right form!
2: Any applications with the same old, boring, 'I went in and loved it, filled in a form and now I wait' will be ignored.
3: You are welcome to keep the old ambies in your signature, but they can no longer get items, breed or have a page. It's just too complicated.
3: There's various new things, but I can't say until the thread's fully opened.

Hello there! Welcome to the Sanctuary, a place where many species of fauna - and flora - from the warring Darkworlde can seek sanctuary. Long ago, a war started between the Magi, with their new ideas and reluctance to respect the old ways, and the Druids - who hate anything that goes against tradition and are reluctant to embrace the new age. You can see why there was a war. But anyway, it's another story.
Ambies, among other creatures, were getting killed in the battlefield as the fighters surged into their habitat more and more. So being, like all Darkworlde creatures, animals of magic, the ambies summoned a portal. In their haste, they forgot to direct the portal to the Ambrosian Lands, and here they are, on Earth.

But now we find ourselves overwhelmed as more and more creatures come our way - ambies are the strongest magicians of the Darkworlde's animals, and the other kinds were too weak to summon their own, so they simply come through the ambies'.
We knew we had to get rid of some - into caring homes, of course. The other creatures were still adapting, and some were wounded from the battle. The only species well enough to be released from the ex-pound, now renamed - in honor of the ambies' intended destination - The Ambrosia Sanctuary for Darkworlde Lifeforms. The Sanctuary for short!
To make sure the ambies go to a safe home, we hand out forms and get them used to their owners first. Why don't you go and interact with the ambies there are at the moment? Careful, don't apply for one you don't really want - there is an overall limit of ten-per-owner, and you may only adopt one every week - to help your ambies get settled in.

Hi there! Welcome to the Ambie Question&Answer desk. If you're thinking of adopting, this little booklet might answer some of your questions. If you still need help, please do ask me!

Is there anything I should know right away?
Well, yes. These things grow like crazy! They have certain 'stages' - the first, kitt. Then, roughly two days later, juvenile. At this stage, any special items such as wings tend to make an appearance. And finally, adult, when they are mature, and can breed.If you want to make your ambies stay as they are, a baby/juvenile forever, ice cubes are available from the store. ((There's no shame in it - I prefer the baby lines!))

How can I adopt?!
Sometimes you can win one in a raffle, or get a gift one for some reason. But mostly, head over to the Ambies ward. It's not hard to find. There's a big sign. It says 'Ambies' on it. Then, if you like the ambie, you can fill in a form for one. Each form has a theme, and though I mainly look at contact, if I'm unsure, I also look at presentation.

So... I adopted. What happens next?
Well, you will be given a link to your ambie's own personal page, where you can order items for its room. You can also dress it up with items from the store, such as scarves, collars and ankle-charms. Visit it as much as possible - it can get lonely, and you never know when it'll find you a pleasant surprise!

Customs and Breeding!

I have taken the poll results into account, and I have decided to make customs more available.

Customs

1: Fill in a form and post it.

2: Wait for the Lotum to be drawn.

3: If you've won anything, PM me to discuss what your custom will be like.

Lotums are the cheapest method of getting a custom, with tickets only 10GC. If you want a guaranteed, more technical custom, we're talking into the hundreds.

Depending on difficulty, I do customs within a price range of 90-500 GC, 90 being a simple, non-intricate design, 500 being a piece that takes all week, wings, items, 'special effects', the lot. PM me to discuss. I will set a price. NO negotiation. If you can't afford, you can't afford.

Breeding
Here you can breed an ambie! Ice cube ambies cannot breed without the maturation potion. Often the ice cube trait will be passed on.

Ice cube:
This item can freeze your ambie at its current stage, however it will be unable to breed.

New Heart:
This item means your ambie can breed as soon as you give it to them, and also increases chances of a successful mating, and twins/triplets. This can also be given to frozen ambies to make them fertile. Beware, the ice cube trait is often passed down to at least one of their children.

Lab pass
This item will let you have one entry to one of the labs: customs or breeding.

Most accessories don't show up on babies. Item previews will be available soon. When an item is added, you will need a new transparent code.
