A species found in south east China has little to no reputation towards the public. Seen by one man who accidentally stepped on its tail while walking on the side walk on a foggy day, could only see its bright colors and a tail similar to a squirrels as it ran up a tree. The new discovery was nicknamed, "Squirrels of China"
It happened in a small town, newspaper reports went over board, causing much suspicion over to those who read it, along with the phony image of a squirrel edited with some of the most bizarre markings, people merely put it as a bunch of hooey and fibbing. And so, all was forgotten. No other appearances of the strange creature accrued, so far.

Information

Living Quarters:
In the dense forests of South East China. There dens can either be underneath a trunk of a tree, a burrow, whatever can shield them from eye sight is acceptable to them.

Size:
Roughly around the size of a ordinary squirrel. Some are known to be larger.

Fur Colors:
Exotic colors as in Deep blue, bright red, and blinding yellow. Never has one had a natural colored pelt.

Strength:
Weak, this is a flaw to the Trills. They are often running from battles of other animals, or predators.

Speed:
They can reach a good 20 mph if they have the space.

Food:
Due to there smaller size, they mostly eat bugs. Though they would enjoy a good piece of fruit. This species does not eat meat.

Predators:
Most often are large birds.

Once a Trill is born, an imprint of a collar takes place. The collar takes its place on the creatures neck after only a few short hours. Located on the collar, are rare and unknown gems to the human race. It isn't permanently around the creatures neck, however can only come off by pure force.
The collar is also known as a translator. Trills cannot understand any animals speaking, nor their own. Once the collar takes place, it is easy to commutate with one another.
Only by judging actions are they able to understand humans, or any other creature besides themselves. A Trill cannot understand other animals (Besides their own) even with the collar on.

Three collars exist, perhaps even more to be discovered. The one shown above is practically unknown to most of the Trills, very rare in most cases.
Other examples can be shown once adoptables are up.

Legend states that each one has most powerful forces deep inside the jewels, nothing usual has occurred that I know of, I will update you if I find anything super natural about them.

The Trills hold two types of tails. One very much similar to that of a squirrels tail, while the other holds a more fluffy cat tail. Rumor has it that the creatures found with tail type two {Squirrel tail} hold a much better balance then that of tail type one.
