In 2291, to conserve energy for future generations, the city of New York, NY decided to create a law banning the use of electrical lights after 10:oo PM, and before 5:oo AM. Besides the radical drop in crimes and drinking, the city began to notice some other changes. Their cats no longer wanted to go out doors alone. Dogs started howling late at night, at things that no one could see. People started hearing noises as they wandered home from a late night walk or seeing shapes in the moonlight. They began staying up all night to see what was causing all the fuss. And that is when little six year old Sarah saw the first one: A strange long eared and bushy tailed creature of the night. They had been living in the darkest parts of the city for centuries, but no one ever knew. What little had been seen of them was attributed to ghosts or strange chihuahuas.
But they weren't dogs at all. In fact, still no one knows what they are. The people began to call them simply by NIght Walkers, and started leaving food on their stoops or in alley ways to feed them. It wasn't long before some of the creatures started following people home, enjoying the easy food and plenty of petting.
And so the age of alliance between Man and Night Stalker began. They became their eyes in the dark when there was no light to see. Which brought crime back up, but only a little.

About Night Walkers

. They are cat-like in their manners and relations to other Night Walkers .

. They do not have territories unless in areas where there are gangs of NWs .

- Hey guys! I finally finished all the ones for the last contest. The last of the four to be adopted is up.
