You enter the planetarium, marveling at the fake planets hanging from the round ceiling. Before you know it, you nearly collide with a row of cages, each with a creature inside. You read the sign nearby. "Handle with care. Space raccoons may run away. Please do not put your fingers into the cages. To adopt, pay 6C$." Will you take one home?
Each raccoon is 6C$, or a wishlist rare that was adopted/made before 2020.
Galaxy - The elegant dark purple raccoon sits in the corner of the cage, back to you. They look so lonely, staring blankly at the back wall... The star patterns on their body seem to shift and sparkle every time you look away, but stop as you focus on them. Small wings float above the raccoon, yearning to fly again.
Saturn - This one lays in the center of their cage, snoring loudly. A series of rings surround the light brown raccoon, and they are all connected by tiny sparkles - or are they stars? A wave of calmness comes over you as you, ignoring what the sign said, stick your hand into the cage and gently stroke their fur.
Alien - This raccoon paces restlessly along the perimeters of their cage, their tail lashing. You flinch at their displeasing pelt colors. Their stomach and tail seem to made of flexible and clear covering, possibly glass or plastic. It is filled with a green liquid, and it mildly smells. They also have six legs, two of which dangle uselessly, but look very cute. The raccoon also has two small antennas, and they wave wildly around. As the creature sees you, they come over and starts to purr. What a weird raccoon.
Fishy business - The last one just sits there, staring at you with wide, black eyes. Unlike the others, it's a normal raccoon - nothing different than those that raided your garbage can a few days ago. Except for the fact that there is a fish bowl stuck on its head, and some space-themed stickers on it's rump/tail. The bowl doesn't seem to faze them, though. A piece of paper on the cage reads: "Not properly house-trained. Used to be family pet, was given away."
