Field is an adoption that is based upon building a battalion to fight a monster, known as "The Great Beast", and its minions. Although it is based on war, there is no gore and hefty topics are avoided entirely. Building your battalion is not required, but you will be very restricted if you do not. (Sorry, the general needs soldiers.) There is no base line for adopts, so things could get interesting with different artists' styles. However, there are only three species available in Field; wolves, winged wolves, and foxes. Their lines will not be anything beside that except for special events.

The General stands before your battalion, "recruits, it is, as they say, 'spooky time.'" His words earn a few snickers of laughter, but he continues. "Feel free to dress up, carve pumpkins, and go out there to earn yourself some treats. He pauses, or tricks, don't let your guard down, soldiers!" Although his words are mildly confusing, The General seems to be in a good mood, so you decide to take advantage of it.

If you want to adopt and you don't yet have a commander, you can adopt anyone as your commander. Just write "Commander" under "Rank" in any adopt and don't forget to make an archive for your battalion.

That's not normal, came the echo of a distant memory. It had just been a hard day of training
and green was exhausted, yet all he could think of were those long ago whispered words. His heart
was beating loudly, the sound roaring in his ears. He had commented about it when he was younger
and has since learned that it shouldn't be that audible. He can still remember the crushing realization
as his friend leaned their ear against his chest, squinting at what they heard. "I think you've got two".
Green never looked into it further, nor did he mention it to another soul. It felt like his own little
secret, even though it was actually a giant pounding one. He always finds his mind drifting to that
time in his youth, after workouts, rescue missions, trainings, and anything else that required his
heart to give him more blood. He would never change what he has, it serves as a constant reminder
that he exists and is alive. Every time that he walks away from battle and hears the endless cry of his
drumming heart, he knows where he is.
