As for advice, just enjoy making the designs and don't over complicate them. These two are amazing! Maybe see what is popular or I personally do palette challenges!

As for advice, I find that, as Lucky7wolf has said, try not to over complicate. I’ve found that if a design is overly complicated, it’s hard for an artist to replicate said design.

Keep it simple with a bit of pizazz~
Also don’t be afraid to venture out with the species choices that you make. Variety is always really nice~
