IT'S CHRISTMAS, IT'S CHRISTMAS!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Damien and Cally aren't exactly believers themselves, but they'll take any chance to show off that they possibly can, so it didn't take much convincing from Gurgles to set up this event. They certainly didn't slack on the decorations - the walls are covered in boughs of holly. Maybe they took the song a bit too literally? That many candles can't be safe either, and are thoseโ€ฆ Yeah, maybe you should just hurry on into the living room, get some hot chocolate and fruit cake, and laugh at all the ugly sweaters. Be careful where you step, there's an obscene number of mistletoe booby traps around here.

    Everyday children from all around the globe send in their letters to Santa. Plenty buckle down on their behavior to try and get on the nice list, while some have simply accepted that they're naughty and make plans for that lump of coal.
    During this event, however, age isn't really important! Any Yaeki, young or old, can send in letters to our resident Santa. To participate, simply write a letter to Santa from one of your Yaeki.

    Star may or may not be trying to cheat out Santa by sending in a bunch of letters under different names... As long as you promise not to rat her out you're free to lend a hand and send in letters on her behalf if you don't have a Yaeki pal of your own!

    - Once you've written your letter post it here, please don't pm it to us
    - A longer letter doesn't mean you're going to get something better!
    - Likewise, please don't fake the letter based on your desires. This is a character building/prompt thing - we're going to know what's up if your Yaeki letter consists of "dear Santa, I want a friend with horns, wings, and six tails" and whatnot.
    - The cutoff for letters is December 24th, PST.
    - More rules may be added as we see fit

    Santa isn't a one man job, y'know! That poor man would be downright overworked if he actually had to gift everyone on his own. Instead, the job of Santa gets delegated to anyone feeling the Christmas spirit in their heart. Or, it's supposed to. Santa and the elves are well aware most people don't do jobs without a reward, so every Santa gets a gift as well! Just drop an application and we'll add you to the list of helpers!

    GUIDELINES

    - You can gift art, writing, or Yaeki as long as the Yaeki are Rare and under. Art and writing should be of Yaeki, not of non Yaeki characters.
    - Your wishlist can contain five Yaeki max to get art/writing for. A link to a character page or a description of their personality is optional but helpful, particularly in the case of someone wanting to get you writing.

    Every year come the month of December everyone gathers round to tell Christmas tales. This year, however, we seem to have misplaced our stories... So we want you to make us some new ones! Every day we'll have a different prompt for you to write about to help fill this place with festive cheer. We'll even give you some candycanes to buy stuff from the items shop!

    - We would prefer writing prompts be kept on site, but if you need to link them feel free to do so
    - Please keep your writing related to Yaeki. If you don't have any you can write about Star, but we aren't going to count it if, per se, you choose to write about your Kalons and include no Yaeki.
    - If you aren't comfortable writing art is fine, too! It'll be judged all the same.
    - We judge the prompts based on effort put into them, not necessarily size. Please have mercy :C

We don't just let you run off with these things willy nilly though, the bureaucratic process is a nasty one. Fill out a form, toss us the goods, and we'll see that you get what you need! We don't want you hoarding though, so only three of each item per person.

This year I would love a big stuffed animal to read to when I canโ€™t sleep. Sleeping is hard but reading makes it easy! I want to be able to read my stories to something else,, plus stuffed animals canโ€™t judge you and will always be ready to cuddle! Once Iโ€™m done reading weโ€™ll cuddle! I would really appreciate a big stuffed animal for Christmas :3
