Fairytale Friesians, or, Fairytales for short, are a fantasy breed of horse with long, flowing manes and thick feathering on their legs. They come with colored eyes, hooves, and horns, of which can be any color.

Genetics + More

Unless something special is stated, all breedings are up to artist interpretation.
Artists may lean more sire-heavy, or dam-heavy, or go for something in between.

Here are a few additional stipulations to keep in mind....

Conduct
Please do not edit your Fairytale Friesian unless you've had the appropriate items earned and approved by moderators. Editing them to add whiskers, claws, accessories, or companions is okay.
You will be added to your Fairytale's reference, please do not edit any new versions of the Fairytale unless you're allowed to.

Ownership
You may own as many Fairytales as you'd like.

Breeding
Fairytales of any gender combination can have children.
Each Fairytale has unlimited breeding slots.

Staff, Artist Guidebook, Pay ETC

We have so many staff and artists that we are no longer listing them here for now! The list will be updated in due time.

Guidebook
Notice; Do not give free adoptables or customs to accounts that are younger than 2 months old, unless they have been personally vouched for already by a respected member of the community. Paid adoptables and WTA/DTA's are fine.
If you need to take an extended break, and will be uncontactable, please let us know ahead of time. Failure to respond to inquiries regarding owed work in a week, will result in your removal as a staff member.
You must add kii to every canvas of every Fairytale you make, including Indie Batches, Mystery Adopts, mass adopts, and one-offs. - If you disappear, I will still be able to step in and dish out the remaining owed adopts, and you give me consent to do so by applying to be an artist and making big batches of Fairytales.
As an artist, you're expected to make one free adoptable every month you're active.
How much you earn past that is up to you. Free adoptables [including free customs] earn you 2 Artist Points each; paid adoptables [including paid customs ] earn you 1 Artist Point each.
Free nursery adopts earn you 4 Artist Points per adopt; Paid nursery adopts earn you 2 artist points per adopt.
You can spend your Artist Points at my universal species shop. You're required to log earned points in our work-log channel.
If you do not judge your competition within a month, you give Fairytales staff permission to judge it for you. This includes doing whatever we have to do, whether it's making new canvases for other people to get their Fairytales , or uploading your Fairytales designs to our Indie Archive, to make sure the people get their Fairytales .
new; 12/17/2021 you earn an additional standard myo (on top of any artist points) for the first free adopt you make a month.

All artists, moderators, and admins are required to be respectful and kind while interacting with the community.
If a member of staff goes quiet and does not do a job-related task for three months, they are removed from their post.
Bankers and archivists earn 1 Staff Point per task they complete and that money can be spent at the shop too.
You must now log your work in our work-log channel and have a banker add staff points to your universal bank total.

Custom Note

As regular artists, you are allowed to offer Basic and Limited Fairytales for your customs.
Founding and free customs need to be Basic.
Minimum Custom Prices are...
100 C$ / $5 USD - Standard
+180 C$ / $10 USD for Limiteds.
You cannot offer higher rarities than that.
Paid Adopt Minimums are 80 C$ / $5 USD for Standard, and $10 USD / 160 C$ for Limiteds.
Paid Nursery batches are 80 C$ / $5 USD per foal minimum.

USD transactions are handled over our Discord linked at the top of the page.
Artists must complete USD work within a month or will lose their custom taking privileges.
