Welcome to the world of Faeflies. Faeflies are small and fluffy mammals that can be found living in most forests or even commonly wander into human areas if it is a wooded enough area. They have poor eyesight and see in many colors that humans can not see but its all blurry to them. Because of their poor eyesight Faeflies use their antennas on their ears and face to feel around for snacks and to avoid getting stuck in small places. To attract other Faeflies when happy or in distress a Faefly will release a chemical into its antennas to make them glow and catch the eye of another.

A Faefly, or 'Fae' is a small mammal, usually measuring within 5" to 24" in height tops, not known to grow any bigger than a medium sized dog. Due to their small sizes a Faefly's diet mainly consists of fruits, insects, and they have a bad habit of tearing through peoples gardens for their vegetables.

Fae have antennae that come from their cheeks, faces and ears that help them notice their surroundings and decide where they are going to go next. With extremely poor eyesight they rely heavily on sound also to determine who they are facing, and what it is they are about to run into. Not only is sound important but the smells they take in from their antennae are very important to identifying other Fae they remember, and what object they are about to eat. They often feel around for small snacks to munch on and can be seen with lowered heads more often then not.

Small Fae are often mistaken for fairies, this is because in the Fae line of order there are often voluntary followers who tend to pamper and feed what are classified as kings. A King faefly will never be more than 10" tall, tending to actually be smaller than normal Fae, but have a unique set of wings, usually insect like fit for travel. Along with their wings a King Fae emits a unique sweet aroma that attracts admirers from all over. As a result it is not uncommon for Fae to collect bugs and berries to present to their King, or Price (A Young king) to show them they appreciate their lovely appearance and scent. With all of the extra berries and nutrients a Kings antennae are much more vibrant, bright, and noticeable than that of a common Fae; but besides popular looks and an irresistible smell a King has no extra benefits over any other member of the species.

Fun facts:

The tips of a Faeflies antennae will illuminate brightly when expression emotions of fear, happiness, or confusion/distress.
Despite their poor eyesight A Fae can see in many colors humans do not, so their world is seen in completely different colors.
Exchanging snacks and affections is the number one way for Faeflies to show their attraction toward one another.
Faeflies mate for life, with one mate or occasionally seen as a throuple.
In their lifetime Fae in mateships can have up to four litters of up to three children each!
Faeflies have very strong tails and sleep with their tails curled around something for support, whether this be a friend or an object.

All rules and regulations below are to be followed. If a rule is broken, you will receive a warning and chance to fix said broken rule; After this you will receive a strike when rules are broken. After three strikes a ban will be set from the species. Upon a ban it is allowed but not guaranteed, for the owner of the species to revoke the won designs of the banned member depending on the severity of the situation. If a rule broken is deemed bad enough for an instant ban the strike system can be skipped.

You can not trade, or sell your Fae at this time; this includes bribery
You may own only 10 Fae at this time. Choose wisely
Do not belittle, bully, or show rude behavior against another member of the community. Harassment, blackmail, and abuse is not tolerated on my threads.
Roleplaying, drawing, and story writing is all encouraged!
Faeflies can NOT be fursonas without special permission from both the owner and the original artist!
No rude or hurtful comments after the end of a competition! I do not want to see "Oh..i didn't win" "Oh so and so should have gotten them!"
Please respect the artists designs! keep positivity in here! Everyone has different taste so do not put others down for their work!
Transfers out of species are not commonly permitted without reasonable explanation. In order to transfer a design a user must first get permission from the original artist and the owner of the species. If reasoning is denied and the transfer proceeds anyway, the user will receive a ban.
