What are Laken?
Laken are mainly forest dwellers though have been spotted in other areas ranging from the dessert to the mountains. These creatures are outgoing and live in groups ( Fun fact! A group of Laken is called a Lake ) of up to ten, each group has a leader, they are the only ones who wear their masks! Each Laken has a custom mask, but they aren't allowed to wear them. These are fox like creatures who used to be hunted by humans for their gorgeous fur, they do terrible in captivity ( such as being kept as a pet ) due to their diets and how they eat. They are quick and intelligent, they won't fall for traps ( most of the time ). They hide the eye on their necks with scarves and Bandanas, the eye are the same color the eyes on their head, if they have heterochromia then the eye is two different colors. Laken will not eat anything that a human or other animal may give them, they will only eat what they or another member of their lake had caught. While many Laken will hide the eye that is on their throat some decide that it's very uncomfortable so they don't wear anything over there eye.
