What are Raogis?
Raogis are a mammalian species, despite their strong resemblance of raptor species. Their most notable feature is likely their lop-ears, very similar to a rabbit's, though another feature always present within the species is their large claws, similar to a raptor's. They weigh about 50 pounds at full size, and the males and females don't show much of a difference in size. Their offspring tend to grow at an abnormally fast rate in comparison to other species, and are born in groups of 2 at the most.
Raogis are named so at the choice of their discoverer, who stumbled upon members of the species near his lab in the year 1963, which is located in the southwest United States. Not long since the discovery (approximately 3 years passed before the next recorded sighting), members of this species had begun to appear in places much farther from their original spotting location. Their actual origin is unknown, it is a mystery as to how they've remained hidden considering their currently recorded, widespread population.
Considering they've only been recently discovered, not much is actually known about the species. However, here's the basics of what we do know:
- 1. Raogis are tame beings, not one instance of severe aggression has been shown towards members of humanity according to current records. Many countries have approved of allowing the species to become 'household pets'.
2. Raogis are intelligent beings - showing the ability to use tools in the wild and advanced levels of communication among one another.
3. Raogis are agile - they have the ability to leap to impressive heights, and can sustain speeds of 35 mph.
4. Raogis may have a variety of traits and features, and can vary greatly in appearance. However, some traits are standard among the species, while others are less common.

There are also several specific guidelines that must be followed for owners. If you are interested in owning a Raogi, please read the following:
- 1. Follow all CS rules.
2. You may make your own Raogi, as long as you follow the rules! If not, you will not be able to partake in species events, or use the official nursery. Your Raogis will not be taken away once given to you.
3. You must use the official nursery to breed your Raogis. If you do not, your little ones will not be able to partake in species events, or be eligible for species services.
4. There are rules specific to the customs and nursery pages. Please be aware of them when using those pages.
5. You may own as many Raogis as you'd like, and sell/trade/gift your Raogis as you wish.
6. Rules may be added and are subject to change. By using these lines and partaking in species events/services, you are accepting this fact.
