Nyooms are well NYOOMS! Nyooms are typically docile but can turn aggressive if another Nyoom either goes near its nest/kittens or threatens their mobility and speeds.
They on the prowl night and day equipped with luminescent orbs to help them see in the dead of the night or in horrible weather. Their 'legs' equipped with treads to help them counter tough terrains or narrow hills, also allowing them to run over slippery surfaces without falling. Often competing with other species such as Vooms,ZipZips,and Fwoshes, in speed and miles even if they are in the same family tree.
Nyooms have tough exoskeletons to protect themselves and to ram into others leaving battle wounds that Nyooms see as honors or shame depending on the situation.
Nyooms have a defense mechanism to scare other things away by flashing their luminescent orbs igniting either the danger,thing is they also use it to show off which makes things a little complicated sometimes..
Nyooms also seem to be immortal unless severely damaged.
They feed off the fossilized bones of the past rulers which is often hard to consume unless they have assistants from lesser species such as humans otherwise they look for other food sources,some evolving to run off energy to have less time looking for food.
