Dedlees are a small species of bovinae, with long, wispy tails and large, elliptical ears. They were originally domesticated for fighting and racing, however these sports have been banned in most countries worldwide, and they are now sold as pets. They make great lap animals, however do need excessive exercise due to their energetic nature. Both cows and bulls possess udders, unlike most bovine species.
In the wild, Dedlees typically venture in numbers between 4-20 called herds. They are sociable animals and do have status-based rankings, based on a "herd leader" system. They typically live in deserts, valleys and more rarely in tundra areas, but they can adapt to pretty much any location.
Diet-wise, Dedlees are naturally omnivorous, though they typically keep to a grass/veggie/fruit based diet. In desert climates, some may resort to eating snakes, bugs, and cacti, and in winter climates, some may eat small rodents and grubs.
