I wanted to remind you all that you cannot gift or trade your Simas-- this includes readoptions. I'm sorry if this wasn't clear. We need to document the ownership of the Simas sent to us into the new archive before they can be gifted.

Please notify a co owner and/or a moderator if you see this happening or if you have concerns.

just making a quick announcement here since I've done it on discord already

there has been less assistance than what had been estimated at the beginning of the hiatus, so it has taken longer then we initially anticipated. because of this the hiatus will be pushed a bit further to give our crew a little bit less of a jarring due date and a little bit less stress. we have been working hard to improve the species the best we can and we appreciate your patience.

and due to this, and the fact that this kiddo has been waiting for an adoption for so long, I cleaned up their edits and put them up for adoption as compensation for the hiatus being longer than anticipated. please note that this doesn't permit anybody to put their simas up for re-adoption or anything of the sort-- this is merely a small poke that we are still working and alive and I couldn't leave you guys hanging with nothing at all in October.

hey everybody, I have an update.

It's about that time where I'm leaving the nest and moving in with my hubby finally, sooner than either of us anticipated. I need to start focusing on learning to adult as well as preparing to pack and leave the house.

I promise I haven't forgotten about simas. I've been thinking about them a lot and I do want to bring them back as soon as possible. However, for now, I need to remove the reopening date altogether as I'm uncertain about when the species will reopen.

Please keep in mind all rules are still in place and we are continuing to work on the archives and the species itself, so that isn't halted. If you see someone breaking the rules set in place, please report it to me or one of the other co owners. you can also talk to the mods, scei and/or takura. I'll answer any questions asked but I'll more likely reply quicker if you can get a hold of me on discord. feel free to PM me for that. if you want an invite to the Sima discord, please PM me, Glispa or ravemn.

For those waiting to gift Simas or sell them, thank you for being patient and I'm sorry. We'll have to figure something out as soon as possible for that but I can't do that right at this time. I hope you all understand and thank you for sticking around. Simas aren't closed for good.

Hey guys! Sen here.

There's still a little activity and this isn't completely dead. The archives are moving sluggishly, but there's progress.

I also wanted to post and ask that if you find anybody trading/gifting/selling their simas that you don't pm them and come to me, Glispa, Ravemn or one of our mods about it and we can handle it. I don't want people bombarded when it may have been an accident or generally just making it more serious than it has to be.

Thank you guys for holding out and looking after the species with us. Please try not to beat yourself up for any of it. I hope you all are having a good week and I'll make more updates as things move forward.

Edit;; on a bit of a different note, I plan to figure out a system in which gifting and such can happen that won't make work harder for archiving. If you have suggestions, feel free to pm me
