Caspar is a bubbly individual, always bouncing around on the tips of his toes, a spring never leaving his step. He tries to make sure everyone around him is happy, which inevitably means he likes to stick his nose in other people's business a lot just because he thinks someone looks sad, acting like a complete fool to even the most mysterious of strangers. Over the years, he's earned quite a few smacks and has has his fair share of wrong-place-weong-time expierences, but it doesn't sully his good-natured attitude. It surprises and astounds some, but annoys most others. He can be a little sluggish on new moons and rainy days, but he tries to not let it stop him, but sometimes he just can't help it and ends up dozing off in the oddest of situations and places. In short, the little pup just doesn't have any clearly defined boundaries other than whispering directly into his ears or blowing into his nose. He also doesn't believe in any God at all, but he will gladly respect others beliefs without question.

History

As a pup, Caspar has always been attatched to snow and the slightly global celebration known as Christmas, getting a wide grin when he just hears someone utter the name St. Nick. Something about it just seemed so.. so magical! One time when food was short, his mother found him refusing to eat his meal just because it had come from the leg of a deceased reindeer calf, saying that it'd be just a horrible crime to devour something that brings nothing but joy to others, the words just breaking his poor mother's heart. Ever since that, his mother had stopped bringing in reindeer for her little Caspar, but that didn't mean she never ate some herself. Caspar did know this, but he never said anything about it.
Months passed with a quiet life, his father showing up occasionally just to check on his wife and see how much her little bundle of burdens had grown, but one day.. he just stopped showing. His mom would say he'd eventually show up, but even the dead grass who had been there in his past knew that this was a lie. His father had been shot by humans traveling in planes overhead and taken aboard to strip him of his unique reddish-milky white coat.

Caspar never asked where his dad had gone to, not that he'd known how his father had died, but because his mother would always quickly dismiss the question.

Months were now turning into years and by his fifth year, the cold of the north had finally taken it's toll on his now elderly mother's old bones, taking her in her sleep and leaving Caspar all alone. However, he wasn't sad. He had known this day would come and he had prepared. He stayed for a few days to pay respect to his mother and to gather some things, burying his dead mom just outside of the small cave system they had lived in for so long just before setting out. On his travels, he aqquired his characteristic- but itchy- Santa Claus hat and an odd friend; Issaac the Magpie. What's the picky bird good for? Finding quick food. Though, he's also great at keeping Caspar company, and thankfully isn't afraid to use his hat as a nest while being cuddled close to the warm, puppy-like wolf's chest.
