Princelings are a lore-rich species from a different dimension that have recently found their way to ChickenSmoothie.
Princelings have two forms: ascended and unascended. Every Princeling begins life as an unascended. Unascended
Princelings appear to be vaguely canine in appearance, with thick ruffs of fur, peculiar ears, and crowns on their
rears. They are a self sufficient, intelligent, and independent species; however, find nothing but benefit from
partnership with humans. Princelings can communicate with humans telepathically in this form.Ascension is a
difficult process that us humans know little about so far. This section will be updated with some information on
ascension once we know more!

Princelings all generally appear the same, save for the crown that they're born with. There are currently only two
types of crowns that have been observed in Princelings. Both of these crowns are common in rarity. Perhaps rarer
crowns will appear later on! Their fur can be any colour observable to the human eye; and some that cannot be
observed by humans. Princelings can see as many different colours as mantis shrimp. Humans can't see these
colours but rest assured, they're just like any other colour. You just can't imagine it. The only rarer characteristic
colourwise is when a Princeling's mane and feathering is more than three colours at once. Princelings will always
have cross-shaped pupils.

Some Princelings are born and stop growing at the child stage for whatever reason. It's seen as a positive thing,
and these Princelings are often held in high regard. This has been called Smoll Syndrome, or just SS. These
Princelings stop growing phyiscally, but mature and age normally. They can go on to ascend and even mate;
though the children will not necessarily inherit the syndrome, even if both parents are carriers. We're not
sure what causes this and how it's carried on at this time.
