ref: A bit of a complicated species! It's an alien sphinx species.
Basically, they're a very lean, cheetah-like sphinx (big cat body, human face) - very short fur so muscles are visible, slightly curved back, long whip-like tail. No wings, more towards egyptian kind of sphinx! They have 3 unique special traits though.
Two inflatable organs on the sides of their heads, like a cowl on egyptial sphinx statues - looking like two throat sacks found on some birds. The sacks inflate when the sfinx is angry and deflate when it's calm.
They also have a beard like that on pharaohs, made of skin and looking similar to lizard throat beard.
They also have a plumage on their long, whip-like tails, similar to those on some dinosaurs except made of skin, not feathers!
Your backgrounds are so lovely, so if you're willing to do one, Id love it! Their planet is very much just a desert like Egypt, except that the pyramids are made of shining crystal material.
