What is a Liden?
Singular; Liden | Plural; Lidens | Collective; Squad
A Liden is what you call a baby Vela. They are hatched at about 1 foot tall (as they come from eggs) and grow from there. Lidens tend to grow up very quickly, staying in the squads that they are born into. They are considered an adult at about 1 month old.
Rules
Not following will result in a strike.
- You may own up to 10 Velas
- You may gift your Velas, but please own them at least a week before gifting
- Please show respect to mods and artists
- Please do not spam the thread ^u^' Posting to mark is okay, but don't post just to advertise your own species or something like that.
- If you'd like to affiliate, PM me.
- PM Azure Ember or Junebug. if you'd like to readopt a Vela.
- Do not steal people's Velas!
- If you are permanently banned, your Velas will be readopted.
Nusery rules
Rules specific to the nursery
- A Liden will grow up into an adult Vela in 1 month.
- Lidens do count against your Vela limit!
- There is a 2-week cooldown between breedings.
- any adult vela can breed with any other adult vela, gender doesn't really matter for these guys while breeding ^u^
- PPS velas can breed ^u^

You'll be using random.org. A lot. Just open that up if you're going to take a breeding.
Roll from 1 to 20 for twins. If you get 5 or below, there's twins.
If a parent has edits, roll from 1 to 100. If it's above 80 or below 20, the Liden has that edit.
You can roll for genders if you so wish, but you don't have to.
If you do, roll from 1 to 2. 1 = boy, 2 = girl.
You don't have to roll for markings, just do what you see fit.
